Harbor Freight is Harbor Freight so I know what I’m getting when I go there. I’m not rating the quality of the products but I am giving this store 5 stars because of their employee Jeanette who was super helpful. I work for a metal contractor and was at a job in Santa Cruz. We have a portable bender that uses the jack from a Harbor Freight hydraulic gear puller and ours failed that day. I called the nearest store in Watsonville to look for a replacement and Jeanette answered. When I explained what I needed she quickly looked it up and then walked to the aisle to confirm it was in stock. Half hour later she was the first person I saw when I walked in the front door and she told me right where it was. Then I go to checkout and she rings me up. When I mentioned it was a work purchase she offered me two copies of the receipt. She was cheerful and very professional. I thanked her and told her she was really good at her job. We were in a jam at our job site and she helped us finish our work that day. Thanks Jeanette! And Harbor Freight, you’re okay too.

not sure who is making the decions here but its Friday 6:24pm, they have decided to randomly close earily. not the first time I have tried to get something here in the afternoon to find them closed earily. their own website lists the time of closing 8pm. aside from the reliablity of the stores hours I really do like harbor freight.

I just purchased 2 item. Cashier charged same item twice, but my second item was lower price. He charge two soldering iron gun, but second item was a circuit tester.

Great experience. I had a list and I asked the man working the aisles where the stuff I wanted was and he pointed out the 6 locations where the items were. One bin was empty and when I found the guy again he went to the back of the store and checked the inventory there. I left within 20 minutes with everything I came to get. It was 2:00pm and was a smooth efficient experience. The cashier was friendly and helpful also. Good for Harbor Freight!
