I can’t say enough good things about Amparo and his work. I bought leather seat kits for my 1958 Mercedes and he installed them as well as all the carpeting. It came out perfect. He also installed the headliner in my Mercedes station wagon. Always going above and beyond my expectations. A skilled craftsman. Highly recommended!

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Wasted fabric and have to redo it. And charged me for this work!

Excellent. Thanks to the friendly guy Amparo(hope it's right name)who I first met when i went here the first time. I needed to replace a convertible top for my vehicle. After having called several businesses in the north Bay area and researching in Santa Cruz county, I was told about Ray's. Besides having 50 years of experience and professional and friendly staff, I was given the best deal compared to the rest of the businesses I inquired. I really didn't expect the deal I got. If I would've went just by the appearance of the business I would have badly misjudged their professionalism. Unlike other businesses this place has scattered material all over which is a big contrast to other businesses. But it's great to look back now and realize that the best deal, and more importantly, professional job and experience, had nothing to do with the interior and exterior appearance of the business. I would never recommend any other upholstery business except this one. Just to see the early 60s Jaguar XKE or E Type being upholstered, I knew this place is dedicated to professionalism and has earned it's long standing reputation.

We went there to get some old designer outdoor chairs recovered. Most of their work is on car tops and awnings, from the look of things, but they had no trouble matching up our material on the spot and doing the work in a week or 10 days. I think we paid $40 per chair for material and labor, which was very, very reasonable. We've been using the chairs for months now and they still look like new.

Ray's always comes through I had my back seat for my 1970 Mach 1 reupholstered and it was better than I expected, especially for the price. Then I needed some special work done on my Recaro bucket seats and Glen came through for me. It's awesome to have a place local that I can trust to do great work.

Ray did the interior on my wife's car. The work was so far beyond what I had hoped for. His work was not just beautiful but affordable and completed a full week ahead of his estimate. when I visited the shop everyone there was polite, friendly and professional' I have and will continue to recommend Ray's Robert Haas
