Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Soquel

Jose and his Team are Professional and Thorough. I bought a new SUV and hadn't had my oil change here in over a year! I am so happy to have this Soquel location Service my SUV from now on. They were so nice and friendly but after a couple weeks I noticed there was a large puddle that had been growing at my car’s parking spot. I checked the oil. It was almost all gone. I had a mobile mechanic come out and it turns out they did not tighten the oil filter. They had drawn, with a sharpie, their initials and a smiley face but they neglected to tighten it. It was an easy fix. My mechanic installed a new oil filter and refilled the lost oil and voila! Needless to say I will not be using Valvoline for my oil changes anymore. So wish that didn’t happen because other than not doing the oil change properly, it’s such an easy and pleasant experience to get a drive through oil change there. However, it ended up costing me more than an oil change at the dealership would have.

The staff is knowledgeable, and friendly, even saying hi to my dogs, and offering them treats. The location is convenient, it’s efficient especially if you’re in a hurry running errands around town. They never push you to have a service done you don’t want. Overall I enjoy having my cars serviced here.

Literally the best experience I’ve ever had. I believe Juan and Ellie were my main contacts and they were stars. So friendly, helpful and professional. I’ll definitely bring my fleet back and recommend them to everyone.

The staff at this location is exceptional. They were helpful by providing insight and guidance and what was needed and what was not. I am extremely impressed by the team and the manager so much so that I drive move than 30 miles to get my truck serviced at this location.

There was no line. The techs were efficient, professional, and courteous. I appreciate hearing them call things out and communicating when things are ready or done and that they check to ensure my car isn’t leaking oil before I go.

I have a Jiffy Lube less than a mile from my house yet I always drive to this location for the friendly and fast service. The employees are happy and competent and seem to really enjoy working each other. It’s no surprise that there is often a line but it’s worth the wait.

Customer service here is worlds apart from Jiffy Lube. All the employees seem happy, spunky and are very professional and kind. The prices is what kept me away when this location was Oil Can Henry's. As it stands now with my last coupon used I only paid $5 more than Jiffy Lube however JL is no longer offering conventional coupons which is an obvious cash grab. I will keep coming here as long as there is a coupon since the value of service and speed while you wait in your car blows Jiffy Lube out of the water.
