831 Towing in Santa Cruz

After going back and forth with AAA and multiple other towing companies that were overcharging or saying that our vehicle (a small van with a bus body) wouldn’t fit on their truck, we finally found 831 towing. Jeff was very friendly and easy to work with. He tried to see if he could fix the issue first but it did need to be towed. Coincidentally, he used the same size truck that the other companies said wasn’t possible.

Timely response to our call and Jeff took the time to make sure a tow was even needed. Didn't end up needing the tow because he tightened my battery which he realized was the problem. Got to drive my car home after a long day! Thank you so much!

Miguel helped us out. Our precious van was stranded and he helped us move our vehicle down the hill to the flatbed. Highly recommend their services and expertise.

This place will always have my business! I was in a real jam. After being strung along by AAA for over 2 hours just to find out that they made a mistake and can’t tow my trailer after all, late on a Sunday- a friend recommended I call Melissa, owner of 831 Towing. Melissa answered right away, she had that voice that lets you know everything is going to be ok! She listened to me, calmed me down and said she would help me out- no problem! She kept in constant contact with me through the whole situation. Handed me off to one of her drivers, Kevin. He got to me in less than 30 minutes, hooked me up and got me where I needed to be in no time. Kevin was completely professional and very experienced ! This team delivered! Super super happy with their service!! Albert was able to get the tow truck into a really tight space to get to my car, something another tow company was NOT able to do last week and still ripped me off with $189!!! He was so quick and so friendly the whole ride to my destination! So very grateful and happy😭❤️🙏 wish i could have tipped the man but last weeks situation had me tight on money😭
