While communication was very good at first, it quickly degraded as there were delays. Like no response for days if not weeks. Taking 3-4x the time estimated. Work is questionable. This is not a serious business in my opinion. I'm surprised I got my car back after all...
It really doesn’t get any better than SVG. These guys have ALL of the technical knowledge to do things right. From wraps and design to custom performance upgrades and precision fabrication these guys are the ones to visit in the Bay Area. They treated my car meticulously, got it done in no time, and all the work that was performed was top notch! Many shops out there but none quite like SVG.
I took my mercedes-Benz C63 AMG P31 for tune 🎶 at the new Location, is very nice. They are very friendly people specially, the owner of SVG and also all staff members. They help me out big time. I finally got what I went in for and I’m very grateful that they help me out. Very thankful for the job they have done to my car and I recommend this shop, they know what they are doing. Had my BMW full PPF and tint done at SVG. Excellent quality of work and service. Harmin is dedicated to the quality of his workmanship; his crew did a wonderful job with the PPF expertly put on especially around the edges.
Went above and beyond in every category, from quoted price honoring to finishing the job timely. Had the rear wheel bearings and front brakes replaced by them at a very reasonable price with excellent quality of service. Was hesitant to check out someone other than my local independent Porsche mechanic but will be back here a lot now.
Love this shop! Have gotten tune, brake rotor/pads, suspensions, tires, even a stripped oil drain plug serviced here. All came out really well. They provide trustworthy professional services regardless if you bring a fancy/boring car, or if it's a big/small job. Highly recommend!
Needed some laborious suspension work done, so I emailed around but heard back from Harmin from SVG very quickly. Made an appointment and brought the car in. Got checked out by Calvin who took copious notes and answered some offhand questions I had, too. Got an estimate for total, and day of pickup. Got a call for pickup and met with Patrick to go over the work done - who answered more questions very helpfully. Patrick also advised on where to add lube and grease during maintenance for longevity. All in all, very satisfied with the work and service. Will be returning when I can! Thanks SVG!! SVG is hands down the best shop I’ve ever been to. I’ve been bringing my 996 Turbo here for literally anything over the past few years, and I’ll be coming by with my Boxster next. Harminder, Calvin, and the team are super friendly and knowledgeable and they diagnose and fix things that other shops can’t. From regular service to weird suspension clunking and tires, they’ve taken care of me, my cousins, and a ton of car friends for a price you can’t beat. Added bonus - you’ll feel like a kid in a candy store if you take a peek into the shop 👀

Came here to get a Visconti Flex fuel kit installed for my M340i. They did an amazing job and honored the price as it took longer than expected due to difficulties routings wires through the firewall to connect the ECA CANBus for flex fuel tuning. Good vibes, nice people, will definitely come back again if I need more work done also, I forget the mechanics name that worked on my car, he made sure everything was sitting right. I had to go back in there to connect the gauge to the ECA module and it was zip tied and set up nicely much appreciated.
Did a great job with my Jaguar F-type R... highly recommended to me by another car enthusiast and they didnt disappoint.
Everyone at SVG is very nice and knowledgeable. My car spent months in other shops and they couldnt fix the problem. SVG took care of my car quickly and fixed my issue at a good price. Dont hesitate to take your car in for any reason. They are the best in the Bay Area!
These guys are trash, I had them work on my Lambo, and I picked it up looked it over it ran like complete and utter garbage, it felt like it had a miss. I dug deeper into it at another shop. And these guys used, used parts and charged me for new. Hennessy ring a bell? Must of taken a page out of their book. Brand new twin turbos housings were rusty and you could tell they were used, even down to the lines which had rub and wear marks. I have given these guys thousand s and thousand s of dollars. Just for them to butcher up my Lambo and not only make it run really really bad. They used parts on it that were actually not new. I would steer very clear of these guys. They are scam artists, and will try to steer you the way they want to steer you. Thousands and thousands of dollars they have taken from me for now that is. Should be ashamed of your self to sell new parts and put used parts on a Lambo of all cars. Your time will come when people realize how big of a scam you actually are. Hennessy felt the pain before for doing this and you will as well.

I recently visited SVG for an estimate on a body shop repair, based on my friends recommendation. Harminder, the owner, took a look at the damage and mentioned that he needed to assess how deep it was before providing an estimate. After just a few minutes, he had managed to remove 80% of the damage, leaving the car looking much better than before. To my surprise, Harminder did not charge me anything for this service. Throughout the process, I found Harminder to be very transparent and honest about the work that needed to be done and the pricing. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of service provided by SVG and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of body shop repairs or at the least get an estimate.
I reached out on Yelp for a small project on my Audi RS5 and was promptly replied to by harminder and told to come by anytime. I reached out on a random Monday again and this time I actually brought the car ! I am very satisfied, my car was promptly taken care of, at a price that I could not beat if I did it my self! 100% recommend SVG to any car aficionado. Lambos, McLarens, and ferraris everywhere all being taken care of with the utmost attention to detail.
Costumer service is great
Calvin, the technician who works on my cars, is very knowledgeable and always gets the job done! He is quick and proficient and does his diagnosis very well. I went to lots of other shops before going to SVG for various issues, from clicking noises in my suspension to engine shudders. Things that other shops couldnt figure out, but Calvin noted right away that my top hats were not seated properly and the engine shuddering issue was a purge valve issue that wasnt displaying a check engine light. All the issues went away with his fixes, all done within a span of 3 hours! Not to mention, that was only one of my cars. He is awesome and does the job well. If you ever need anything installed at SVG for your car, Calvin is the man!!
