Protrans Automotive in Riverside

I took my car here because the dealership told me I had an issue with my sway bar links and found that this shop had good reviews. They gave me a free inspection which I appreciate. However, when I took my car in, they not only told me that I needed to get my sway bar links replaced, but also that I needed to get my control arms replaced with a realignment. They quoted me $2,000 for this. This was excessive so I took it somewhere else and they told me I did not need to get this replaced. I did not appreciate the dishonesty.

I don't normally leave business reviews, but I had such a nice experience I thought I would. I bought a used 7.3 about 4 years ago and have been doing most of the work on my truck when I have the time. I am definetely not an expert. I had a few things that I needed to have done with the shop (loose shifter, water pump, etc) and I felt that it was fair and I wasnt cheated in the slightest. Then they gave me a list of things that I needed to do in order of pritiorty and I was able to take care of a few of those on my own. They taught me a few things about my truck, did not shame me in the slightest as other shoos have in the past, but rather gave me helpful recommendations and knowledge on subjects I had no idea about. If I ever have trouble in the future, I would definetly shop here.

This was my 3rd time to use them and each time has been wonderful with great customer service. All repairs were done to my expectations. I'm picky, and I was quite pleased with the results and price

ProTrans took great care of us while our truck was in the shop! They went the extra mile to make sure we got done what we needed at a great price. They helped us navigate our extended warranty stuff as well, which was super helpful! They communicated with us consistently throughout. Would highly recommend them to everyone in the area!

I took my 2017 Ford F-150 here before my trip to Utah to make sure all was well with my breaks and top off all fluids, overall a safety check. Every time I called all were courteous, polite & very professional. I really appreciate this company’s honesty and integrity, they provided my truck with an oil change. No haggling, no gimmicks, no up selling I’m a lifetime customer. Thank you & I recommend this company.

They did a really great job I just went in for a diagnostics and they told me what was wrong well I didn't have the money for them to do the job but I was able to do it myself and my car is running great. The price was very affordable and the people were very nice and helpful. I will diffently return to them again.

The Protrans team is amazing. They went above and beyond to replace my camshaft in less than 24 hours and get my car back out on the road. Hands down the best shop in the IE!
