I was very happy with most of the process. Scheduling went well, I didnt see any expensive marble waiting rooms with tie-clad service advisors to jack up the price, and they were careful to document the things they recommended with pictures and get my approval in advance. I was in for a routine servcie and their inspection process seems to be quite good. They completed the work quickly and the price wasnt cheap, but nor was it over the top. I would give them 5 stars except for one thing: they hounded me for reviews like crazy, including texting me several days, including Sunday at 8am (zzzz). Im sure it is an automated system, but they need to turn down the volume on it. Note: I was going to Griffin Auto Works, but I think they are changing names to Level Up Auto Styling. If you dont mind the hounding, its a good shop.

Needed to get a serpentine belt replaced. Dennis and his crew got it done 30 minutes earlier than scheduled.

I used Level up Auto Styling for my window tint, and have had a positive experience so far. I left my vehicle for tint and then was ready by promised time. They do carbon and ceramic tints with lifetime warranty. Given that this is a specialized shop and not a commerical one, recommend making appointment before hand. The rates for tint were very reasonable. Also they do tints only on Mon-Wed so make sure to get in before that. My vehicle was returned clean and in the condition I gave. The folks were knowledgeable about the kind of tints rules etc. Loved their service and would recommend for sure.

Dropped off the car for front ppf and tinting windshield and all 4 windows. The checkin process and appointment process was smooth and all options were explained very well. Picked up the car after 3 days and communication was great throughout. The ppf job looks good and is well done and have a follow-up appointment after 2-3 weeks to check for imperfections/sort them out. The tinting job seems well done on the windows but the front windshield is very badly done with visible scratches. They were kind to mention that it will be taken care of in the follow-up appointment. The interior trim was damaged in two places near the edge of the windshield which was not a great sight. I was told the trim will be taken care of in the follow up as well. Will post an update after 2 weeks. Overall, would definitely recommend the place for the ppf job. As for tinting, I will post an update. The people are nice and listen to/address the concerns.

I had a very bad experience, paid a lot of money for a test that was supposed to take 3 hours. 2 days later I took my car out because they wanted more money to give me a simple electrical system diagnose. Very disappointing.

Waited a while for my Volvo xc40 to arrive. When I got my delivery date called Level Up to book a full front ppf package and added the basic wear and tear package too. This covers the whole front including lights and door handles and door edges. I got my car in the gorgeous Amazon Blue and plan to keep it looking new as long as possible! The guys there are quick to respond very clear on what s going on and got it back to me sooner than expected!

Very professional shop with quality work. I was able to drop off and pick up my car on the same day. They even sent me a follow up message a few days after to make sure the tints were doing okay, which I really appreciated.

Had nothing short of a great experience working with Dennis and his team. I had my CrV tinted and Jay was able to help me. Dennis was actually on leave at the time, but he was able to set up his team to help me out. The tint itself is beautiful and helps me keep the heat down in these hot months. What I appreciated most was how they took care of me, gave me a ride share to my destination, and on the way back. Ive been to various other private own auto shops and they wouldnt offer that on the front end. Appreciate the tint and hospitality guys. Ill be back for more work in the future.

Got a new Jeep last week and plan to be taking trails in Tahoe this summer, and doing some fishing. Before I head that way I got a few things done to protect my Jeep thanks to Level up, they did a full front ppf job ceramic coated the rest of the car and installing windshield protection. The car is ready to go against the elements and the future time spent on keeping it clean is minimal

Griffin s Auto Repair did a great job adding full frontal PPF and ceramic coating to my car. Very glad that my car will stay shiny and have its paint protected for a while!

I called for a quote and they said for the small slight side windows in my 2 door Chevy Camaro were $75 each. The same price for the normal sized windows. They are way over priced.

The whole repair process was incredibly quick and easy. Initially I went to a couple other repair shops and their quotes were higher and repair timelines were a lot longer. Dennis did a quick inspection and helped me deal with insurance and rental. More impressively, when parts came in a day later than expected, he was quick to communicate and even offered to help me with Lyft that day! Overall, very professional, communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Dennis and Justin are A1 individuals. They truly care about your needs, and they deliver. I recently purchased a new car and took it to them to wrap it with a PPF. The car looks incredible. There were some areas that needed some additional work after the first try, and Dennis and Justin had no problem working on it overtime to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I have a problem car and I constantly stress about finding a good mechanic that won t charge me a fortune and understands the stresses with my problem car. When I called, they took my car same day. When I explained the issues I was having, it was great that he knew exactly what I was talking about and had knowledge about the model across the board having these issues. After the first repair and tests, my car was still having troubles but he took it back without charging me anything additional to work on it. Not being from the area, I get stressed out because I think it may be easy to take advantage of the fact that I m not an expert mechanic. Dennis and his team took excellent care of my car. I had tried another mechanic shop multiple times and they never fixed my AC. The online form for Griffins is perfect. They make sure to address all of the issues you list. I mentioned there was a noise when I idled and I wasnt sure if it was just my AC pump or another problem. The team was able to get my new ac pump installed and top off my steering pump in one day. My car sounds great and it is so nice to have AC again :) The price is very fair. I highly recommend this shop!

Dennis & Justin are amazing! I brought my Ford Escape in to get the A/C inspected and to track down an oil leak. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue with the A/C and the source of my oil leak, provide an upfront estimate, and repair it in no time at all. Dennis even removed a nail he found in my tire free of charge. Ill definitely be coming back instead of going to the dealer!

Dennis was like an angel sent to me when my car all of sudden broke down in mtv. I pulled it over to an auto shop next to Griffin s and was told that they couldn t handle it. Although it was already an hour after griffin s closing hour, I still walked in for help. Dennis immediately checked my car, spotted the problem instantly, and told me that he can have it fixed by noon the next day. I had to pick up my car after the closing hour again the next day and Dennis arranged the whole process smoothly without a single complaint. I wish I were local so I could totally rely on Dennis for any car related issues. Found out what was wrong with the car (not the bearings but shocks) and repaired at a reasonable price.

I came to Griffins Auto Repair and talked with Dennis about installing a lift kit on my truck, and getting some new rims and tires. Dennis allowed me to pick out exactly which rims I wanted, what tires and the size I wanted, and let me select the size of the lift kit. He then purchased everything for me and installed everything personally. I thought Four Wheel Parts was the only spot in the bay area you could go to get your truck or SUV lifted, but that simply isnt the case. Dennis and Griffins Auto Repair did some amazing work and my truck looks awesome. I will definitely come back to Griffins Auto Repair to get running boards installed in the near future. Amazing ownership and customer care as well! I couldnt recommend them more!

The repairs done to my car provided a serious performance change. The turbo is kicking in sooner, and its accelerating much quicker from a stop, and at freeway speeds. A lot more power. Very displeased with their work. The guy that runs this place is completely untrustworthy, and I am never taking my car there again. He charged me over 320$ for a part that I later called the dealership he claims to have bought it from, to find out it costs under 100$. Additionally, he assured me he had fixed a hose leak, but the light came on the day after for the exact same problem. When bringing the car back in, he refused to even look at it. The man claims he knows what hes doing, but from my experience he is untrustworthy and cannot get the job done. Highly recommend that you take your car someplace else to get it fixed.

He charged me over 350$ for diagnosis, claimed to repair the car, but when I got it back there had been absolutely no difference, although he claimed he had fixed it. 750$ down the drain. I took it to another mechanic, and within ~10 mins he traced the problem to a loose connection, and fixed the problem. Not sure how he has stayed in business this long. If you know the problem, or have to do something simple like change oil or fluids, he might be your guy (but probably still charges too much). If there is anything that actually requires knowledge of cars, I would recommend to go elsewhere

Dennis is great! His repairs are crazy fast, his prices and the services he chooses to do are reasonable, and hes *very* considerate (offering to pick us up since we had no other car, letting me drive the car home even before I paid so I could get my check book). Weve been going to him for 5-6 years, and would definitely recommend him.

He has talked me through the awful experience of sitting in my car in traffic when my car died, and he even shopped for a replacement for me when I was thinking about trading in my car.
