My car's clutch decided it was a good time to disintegrate and this shop just happened to be the closest one to where I was about to break down. I consider myself lucky, Henry was amazing to work with! He gave me an honest quote with options for OEM or third party parts and explained what the quote did and didn't include. As an engineer who tries to do as much maintenance on my car as I can, I appreciated the way Henry talked me through what he was going to do and what they might find. It's a huge amount of work to get the transmission out of the car and I agreed with him about replacing the main engine bearing/seal while there was access. It's not an upsell, it's common sense and I feel like Henry's explanations throughout the whole process would make sense to even those who are less mechanically inclined. He sent me pictures of the damage they found and pictures of everything sparkling clean before they put it all back together. It sounds like this shop has been around for a long time and I hope it stays in business for a long time to come. I won't hesitate to bring my car back to Henry if it needs transmission work in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

I am very happy & please with the service & honesty of Henry, the owner. My Toyota Sienna was diagnosed at Aamco Transmission with bad transmission that requires a repair costing $4500.00. I called Precision Transmission & talk to Henry. I ended up paying $695.00 because only the wiring was the problem. It was bitten by mouse. If you have a transmission problem, this is the place to go! I just had my 1999 Jaguar transmission rebuild. Running like a champ now! Before, there was a delay getting into gear from a stop position. The reverse gear was also acting up. Henry and his team got that all fixed. Price is very reasonable and workmanship is excellent. Henry Sola, the owner, has a wealth of knowledge and been doing this for over 30 years. This is my third time going to Precision Transmission. The first time was for a 1985 Topaz. Second time was for 2000 Ram 1500. Now for 1999 Jaguar. I was worried that he might be retired. So glad to see he is still in business. Very easy person to talk to and way down to earth. They won't trying to sell you anything extra. Just good honest hard work!

Henry is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He also happens to be an expert on transmissions and runs a pretty good shop too ;) I called up Henry after my mechanic told me I needed to take my car to a transmission shop because the issues I brought to them were out of their comfort zone. As soon as I called Henry’s shop and spoke with him for just a few seconds, I knew his nearly all 5 star reviews were right on point. Henry was extremely transparent with me, answered every question with grace, let me see parts of the process no other professional mechanic has been transparent enough to show me, and was a class act to work with. He delivered the final product (a rebuilt 4L60E for my GM SUV) ahead of schedule, on budget, and it exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Henry and Precision Transmissions. Date of service was Oct 2019, Yelp buried this review in the gray area. We were referred to Henry at Precision Transmission by a trusted Honda shop foreman for our 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission (error codes, P0700, P0705, P0740, D4 blinking, etc). My prior solenoid filter cleanings and replacements proved shortlived. Rather than replacing the transmission with a rebuilt one from Honda (over $6k quote), we opted to have Henry and his techs rebuild our transmission. We were impressed with the workmanship and quality standards. Henry sent us photos of the clogged internal filter and the metal on metal wear. In a short 7 days, Precision Transmission handed us our van. It runs like new and the transmission looks new as well (cleaned and painted). Competitively priced!
