Yesterday 2/24/25 I had to visit this Home Depot in Hawthorne for some plumbing items. What is the most impressive is the amount of customer services reps available for questions and directions to the aisles to get what I needed. Very knowledgeable too. I ask this young woman where I can find mildew/mold removal spray. She asked me for a shower or a painted surface? She explained the differences. Wow. By contrast, the Home Depot closest to me in Marina Del Rey in order to get a rep to help you, you have to hunt them down because they are very scarce. The success rate is less than 50% to get a CS rep to help you. I digress. Thank you to all the reps, and there were many at the Hawthorne store. Management give them all the proper kudos.
Treating everyone like thieves is making the gift card process extremely painful. My Id was not scanned correctly and was told I need to wait 30 minutes to clear the error. There was no way for the lady to check my account, check how the name was spelt or anything. This is cash! There are way too many restrictions for an account that’s in good standing. It has gotten worst due to theft, I understand but it’s painful experience for the average customer
I’m leaving a 5 star review for the two that helped me this evening in the nursery. Javier and Adriana made it a pleasure for me to pick up 25 bags of bark mulch. They worked together and filled my truck quickly and efficiently.
They need to work on they staff and they attitude the black girl that don’t even come to work properly groomed hair all messed up told me that all lines was opened not knowing all the machines don’t take the same payments some take cards and some take cash only I went to the middle one cause for one I know it takes card 2 I had a heavy object in my hand so ofc I’m go be close to the exit to get to my car faster then I needed help with the scanner cause the bottle I had was not scanning but instead of helping she wanna just stare and talk to the other employee and they just kept staring talking not helping.
This home Depot location is a bit of a mess. Constantly overwhelmed with people which makes it hard to get around. Staff appears genuinely upset that they have to help people. If you need assistance you will be asking constantly, and they will just keep passing you around. Recommendation to management: train your people in customer service. Why is it this hard to get help?
Staff were impatient and impolite, the entire store is running on 35% efficiency, ive worked in construction, agriculture and clientele all my life and I can tell you that was a stressful experience. I go there when Lowes is closed I will specify, there is no problem with the products themselves
I would like to thank KEITH and Elizabeth Smith for helping me order and deliver all my DOORS and WINDOWS. KEITH did an amazing job and every single window and door fit perfectly and looks beautiful!!!!!!! 🤩 Elizabeth really helped me with my closet doors that had to be reordered. She went above and beyond and has excellent communication skills!!!! Thank you Keith and Elizabeth
The workers are always helpful at this Home Depot, and they always seem to know where to find things how to solve problems. It’s great for something as simple as making a copy of a key. The worker went above and beyond to make sure that I looked at the different options of the key and different styles Along with the keychain so I highly recommend going to this Home Depot than other ones .

I waited over an hour for them to load up an order I had they told me it was already ready to pick up and when I went inside the store to ask about it the employes I did noticed were just on their phone or would say they would call somone and just walk away like if you dont want to work then just quit your job no point in making customers suffer for your own laziness

I was asking where to find a item to this lady with curly hair and with glasses and she gave me a lot of attitude and I m not gonna lie I did give her attitude but that was when I asked her the second time where to find the item because me and my dad couldn t find find it and she said well if it s not in there I don t know what to tell you because that s where they are. So when she said that I got mad because I m asking for help and she s being mean about it so then I ask another employee and he was nice and he was actually showing me where the item was at and when he was showing me the lady was there showing my dad where the item was at and after they left my dad told me that the lady said that I had a nasty attitude and I got mad because I gave her attitude because she gave me attitude. And the fact she gave attitude to a 13 year old is dumb.
today at around 11:15 me and my family came to get a water filter replacement my husband decided to ask 3 employees that were just sitting there chatting on the appliances section where the water filter was for a specific brand. lady claimed they didn t have it. luckily i was smart enough to check on the app and just 3 feet away from. was the filters. tell me why home depot is paying for employees to just sit around and chit chat those 3 didn t even bother to walk 3 feet away getting paid for nothing. other than that nash on the checkout line provided great service.
If you are missing something, you will surely find it there.

Cant find what i was looking for ask three works and got three different ansews went all thru the store and couldnt find the items iwanted so i just left i just hate this home depot isnt worth my time the other two are a lit better places to shope on in Inglewood on century Blvd and la cienagla boulevard by the airport
Most of the staff at this depot are professionals! There is a depot, but even if you ask about something you dont understand and go to the location indicated by the store clerk, Ive never found one. However, the staff here really support the place!
I write reviews for this store multiple times a week and usually praise the employees for their excellent service. However, this week has been very disappointing, not because of the employees but due to the system itself. One aspect I have always appreciated is the veteran discount, which shows Home Depots appreciation for those who have served our country. Unfortunately, they have now stopped offering this discount. The employees try to explain the reasons, but the excuses they provide make no sense. Its disheartening to see Home Depot take away a simple 10% discount, especially after many of us have spent thousands of dollars at the store. This decision feels like a slap in the face. Im sure Im not the only one who finds this unethical and disappointing. I plan to share my experience widely to inform my fellow veterans about the decline in your companys values and ethics.
Amazing service from the associate Summer in appliances, shes the reason I went through with my new fridge purchase. She answered all our questions in the most polite way and was just so very helpful!! Shes an example of what Great customer service should be !! I highly recommend you ask for her for your appliances purchases.
Horrible customer experience stood around for like 45 minutes waiting for someone to come to the tool section, and I asked several Employees at the check out lines if I cant get help and they all seemed to have an attitude. I couldnt even get what I wanted, get better at attending to your customers.

I have been going here before it became Home Depot (was Home Base then). Lately my experience with customer service from Louise (the manager) was a very good experience, and he made me feel like a valued customer. We need people that care about their clients. Good job Louise, and thank you!

This is the second time I have been in the garden department and the lady working the register was rude about the lines to check out, whos next, who they (register workers) will call next. Please out a sign up and make it clear. There is a way to communicate to your customers....and it does not have to be in a crabby AUTHORITIVE way....if you want to keep your customers. Be nice...each day is a blessing and be happy!

My experience with this home depot. One day while I was shopping at this home depot, I needed to use the bathroom and went into the handicap stall. when I looked at the toilet I saw this massive human feces that looked like an arm sticking out of the toilet. I tried to flush it multiple times but that thing was rock solid I asked for help and a guy of the name Jamal said there was nothing to be done. Home Depot should hire new cleaning people
I walked into home depot to the hardware department and trying to find a drill. I needed someone to help me to choose the right drill for the job but I tried asking for help and they told me someone would come to me shortly about 10 minutes later an African American by the name of trey came to help me. however, within 5 feet I can smell horrific stench coming from him the closer he got the more I wanted to throw up. once he got next to me I decided to just go home because throwing up was not worth it. I went to Lowes and found someone that actually smelled good.

I shop at this location at least two to three I have never experienced a service that I have experienced today from Kat one of their front end and Fio one of their female floor attendant as for Fio she didnt want to help me at all and was giving no customer service I accepted that and went on to the next person when I now come across Kat whom was getting into an altercation with a non-paying customer in front of the whole front end store she was offended by what he said to her and decided to take it out on the rest of the customers waiting to purchase their merchandise the paying customers I greatly appreciate the manager coming to solve the problem his customer service was exquisite

If this is the one Home Depot (in Redondo Beach)then they have got two of their fire doors blocked from the outside.... With pallets.. I would hate to be trapped in the garden section with a shooter running around plugging people. I had pictures on my old phone but I lost the phone. Just beware, and dont say I didnt warn you.

Home Depot has lots of what we need at reasonable prices. Service is catch as catch can. Some associates are willing to help, some not as much. HD is usually well stocked.
This is the best location, plenty of parking, and fully stocked with items that are advertised.
Maria from customer service, Richard from gardening and William from everywhere in the store It seemed, were excellent In helping me determine what I needed for my fireplace, which was a log lighter . The checkout lady Tifini was also excellent. Best Home Depot Trip ever! Thank you.

I dont like self. Check out and there is a lot of us that will complain about having a camera at your face. No one should have a camera at their face. I believe we need to hire more people for check out and give jobs and also keep the camera out of peoples face. Theres called something called privacy. I give no stars
