Dixon & Son Tires is a family owned and operated automotive service center founded in 1973. We treat our customers’ vehicles as if they were our own. We offer free tire rotations and free shuttle service.
For tire service: Fast and competent service. Friendly atmosphere. Good prices too. I have no experience with brake or suspension work.
friendly staff, great prices. I went in for an alignment but my car is still shaky so I am a little concerned about that.
Dixon& Son Tires has been around since God made dirt. That's a long time. They had good customer service then and they have managed to get a little better. They are polite, helpful, and professional. Dusty is the manager and a straight shooter. If it can be reasonably done he insures it. They're grubby because their work is grubby but they are conscientious when working on your vehicle. They are simply all around good people. Do I believe in them? Yep...I drive all the way from Hollister to deal with them. Knock on wood..... haven't had a bum trip yet.....
I have a fleet of 19.5 wheel vehicles and I haven't found anyone better than Dixon and Son. Al fixed my wheel before I even got out of the truck, Carlos magically appeared behind the counter and made me laugh, and Dusty was trusty. Much appreciated folks. Make sure you bring Strawberry Gatorade and snacks for the guys. Dixon and Sons touchdown!
Very satisfied!!! Miguel took the time to find a very slow leak in my valve stem and replaced it with an angle stem then attaching a new extended stem as my RV has duel rear wheels! Thank Miguel and Richard! All done at no charge!!!
Do NOT do any business here if you value your safety. I had new brakes out on my Toyota Dolphin so I could get home to Oregon safely. I got only 1/2 way and the brakes were barely working. Stopped to check the fluid....hardly any in there. They also left oily fingerprints all over my hood and wheel wells and even on the seat cover. Very disappointed. Be safe. Dont go here. Edit. So, I actually filled the fluid and got about another 100 miles and the entire brake system failed. They didnt do a complete job. They only changed the brake pads. Old hardware and no cylinders done. So the job failed because the cylinders went out. I was stranded in Eureka California for 3 days and in 2 repair shops having to interact with others during a pandemic when I had done due diligence to be safe away from people in my RV. This company risked MY life with failed brakes and having to be in public during a stay at home order and the lives of others. Thank God no one stepped in front of me as I had ZERO brakes when this job failed.
After having a blowout on my travel trailer and ruining the rim, I searched the Internet for a tire dealer with a good rating. We are from out of state and decided to try Dixon & Son, boy am I glad that I did. I decided to replace all 5 tires and replace the rim, they had everything waiting for me the next day. Quick service and very nice people and very good prices. If I'm ever in this area again and need tires, they are my number 1 choice!
My mom and I stopped at Dixon's after getting a flat tire and they were amazing! Everyone we spoke with was helpful and friendly. They didn't have the tire we needed, but called several other places for us and were able to find a used one. We're not local to Watsonville, but if you are then we can't recommend these guys highly enough! Extra thanks to Luis who was an absolute pleasure!
