I was very fortunate to work with Ethan. He is very kind and patient and he knows his stuff. I went in to get a tire repaired on my Honda Civic. He kindly deferred me to the tire business next door. Ethan was kind and provided guidance to me and what to do next. He provided about 1/2 hr of his time at no cost. I will definitely be back. It felt like he won’t overcharge me since I’m a woman. Sadly, I had that happen so many times. I saw other women come to his business and they were satisfied with HD Auto Transmissions service.

Everyone here was great Emily at the front office kind. Nathan and Ethan knocked my transfer case on my Tahoe out. I literally dropped it off on Monday before closing time and pick it up ready to go Wednesday afternoon. It ran great. They rebuilt it my transfer case, replaced any parts necessary. They quoted me at $1800 and when I picked it up my bill was $1500. So I was grateful for their honesty. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for any transmission repairs.

Moved up here from the Bay Area and had to learn whom to trust for certain jobs. First off, this is a family owned business that is not here to cheat people, but to give an honest quote. I first came here to have my transmission fluid changed out when hardly anyone would attempt to on my Honda Odyssey. Great first impression, then my older 88 Civic died on me. Firestone had no idea how to work on my car and I decided to go there. I Highly recommend this transmission/engine repair shop up here in the high desert without any hesitation. They do some engine work. They swapped out my timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, tune up, and a few other things for less than 800 bucks! Seriously, this would have cost more elsewhere since other shops will milk you since we do not know any better. When you go there, you will be able to tell they are just trying to do the best job without swindling you as a customer. This is my go to from now on! Please check them out as I want them to stay in the High Desert.

Absolutely incredible service. Ethan was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He answered every question I had and was transparent every step of the way. The job ended up more extensive than at first look, and he changed more parts than what was expected, but he immediately called me to let me know and discounted prices for me in order to stay within the original quote. He stayed true to his word, which is a premium when dealing with car repairs. His father is also an expert and a rare breed in that he rebuilds transmissions in house and mine was rebuilt to the highest standards. His sister took care of all the admin, explaining everything in a straightforward way to make sure I knew exactly what I was looking at on the invoice, to include the free 2 week check up and the 1.5 year warranty. The whole family was very attentive and even made sure I got a ride to the rental place, which they called ahead for me to get me a discount on my temporary car. They were accommodating to my schedule as I had to leave town for the holidays, and waived the storage fee because they finished the job before I got back. I am more than satisfied with the work they did and the results of the repairs. I recommend with the utmost confidence HD Auto Transmissions to anyone that needs any kind of work done on their car, whether old or new. I look forward to working with them again next time I need anything.

They are amazing! Brought my husband's car from pep boys who really tried to scam us to be quiet honest. We live in Riverside but my husband was on his way to work. Was towed to pep boys and then HD auto transmission ls..And my husband read really good reviews and brought it here. The estimate was great and was a little lower than quoted and they have payment options:) highly recommend and we live in Riverside!
