Radius auto body in Venice

I actually met Nagy through my business when he inquired about a service with us. We got to speaking about how businesses need to look after their customers and the importance of doing good work. This led me into asking about his services and I actually went down to his shop because my car needed some work. He definitely lives up to everything he spoke about and has me seriously wondering about all the other times I went to get my car serviced if they even did a fraction of what they promised. When he lifted out my air filter it looked as though it had never been changed before. His son and himself stayed late and worked on my vehicle and did a great job. From the moment I was there I saw multiple other people pick up their vehicles from large collisions to small dents. Basically everyone said the exact same thing of wow I can't believe it looks like it's new. I wish I saw him when I first moved to Los Angeles however now I know and I will be continuing to work with him for all my auto needs.

Nagy and the entire team at Radius Auto Body are incredible. Besides being insanely talented, efficient, and meticulous with their repairs, every single person I talked to was extremely kind– they treat you like family. They went out of their way to help me and work with my budget, all while producing beautiful results. I cannot recommend Radius enough!

Radius took great care repairing my car. I had huge scratches along both bumpers and the passenger side of the car that I thought would never come out. I got the car back in a timely fashion and it looked brand new. Definitely will be coming back anytime I need work done to my cars!

Nagy and his team did an excellent job repairing my front bumper and had my Subaru looking as good as new. They even cleaned my car, which was a nice touch. Nagy worked with my insurance and was fair and honest throughout the process. At another point, when I needed to change my engine and air filters, he offered to do it for free.

I am amazed, and somewhat envious of other reviews for this shop. I had very high hopes of a front bumper repair. It was a simple enough job considering it was a bumper replacement, nothing foreign or top of the line. I saw flawless reviews on the shop and I figured I would go for it considering the reputation and the location. I knew from the beginning something felt off, and that the service didn’t feel right. They didn’t seem interesting in the car, and many offhand remarks about other parts of the car were made- none of which I had asked about. A few days before leaving my car I had called for an estimate both for price and for time and Nagy had told me it would take 4 business days, but in person it was all of a sudden changed to the end of the following week. About 6 days had passed, and I started to wonder what the delay was. I hadn’t received any kind of communication so I went ahead and sent an email asking about the progress. It would be ready for pick up at 5pm on Monday. This was about 8 to 9 days after drop off, twice the amount of time I was given. I swallowed my pride, made arrangements with family and my employer, and went to go at 5pm to pick up my vehicle. The owner was nowhere to be found. I was told to wait I the office, and after a while Nagy returned and called someone who I suppose had my car. He eventually came back from somewhere and he didn’t remember what car I had and that he’d even helped me out. After hanging up he told me he was sorry but it would be ready tomorrow. He said that he was losing money on the deal, since he’d entered a VIN number and had to repaint the bumper- which was included in the invoice but made it seem like additional work, and that he was sorry he forgot about the email he’d sent but didn’t think to check it. I am glad others have had good experiences at this shop, and I don’t like to leave subpar reviews, but if you want your car to be dropped off late, and for the business owner to give you the run-around, then by all means this is the place for you.

Nagy was incredibly helpful and the shop did an amazing job with the work my car needed. He guided me through me the insurance process since it was my first incident and it always felt like he had my best interests in mind.

I must admit that all the 5-star reviews made me a bit wary; however, the results that Nagy has accomplished with a quite difficult job that I gave him absolutely justify all the reviews! To be completely open, I did need to return and have a couple issues addressed (my driver's side DRL/turn-signal was not working and there was a minor alignment issue with the pop-up headlight cover that was painted) although I'm positive that these will be taken care of. Nagy is very professional. Add to the above that I had to deal with a tragic family emergency out of state the day after I initially left my car with Radius. Nagy was more than willing to work with me through this ordeal. I very much appreciate his understanding. It's rare to find people people these days. I'm glad Nagy was one! I'll update this review if I pick up my car and discover that something went horribly wrong. I have a very strong feeling that that won't be necessary! 😎 Addendum: Picked up my car today after waiting about a month for custom built light sockets to get delivered. Everything looks fantastic! We need more Nagys in the world today. Not only does he take pride in his work, he sticks to his word. If Nagy says he'll do something, believe him! It's nice to deal with such an honest, hard working man. If you're looking for a body shop, you've found it!

On Oct. 11, 2021 my 2022 Prius was hit by another driver. My front, driver's side headlight and sensors were damaged and, as a result needed to be fixed. I searched Google for a quality auto body shop (preferably in my neighborhood) and came across Radius which had unprecedented 5-star reviews. I called Nagy (the owner) and he was quick to respond. Nagy was courteous, knowledgeable and very kind. He made me feel immediately at ease. The other driver was at fault and his insurance is paying for the repairs. They sent me a check-- which was, of course woefully short of the final estimate. The idea being, I give Nagy the money the insurance gave me for the repairs and they pay the rest directly to Radius. The insurance company didn't authorized the payment for the repairs and were taking their sweet time. Welcome to the bureaucracy of at-fault insurance. So my car was sitting in Nagy's shop waiting for the red tape to clear. The insurance company had been terrible at communication, but Nagy has been so attentive, so communicative and so kind. He called me every day my car was in the shop to give me an update and he even purchased (and drove 60 miles to personally pick up) the replacement parts ahead of the final authorization so the work could be done right away. He didn't even ask for the initial payment! Because of supply chain issues and the newness of my car (2022) parts weren't as easy to come by but Nagy found everything that needed and everything replaced was authentic Toyota Parts. He could have gone with generic parts that would have worked fine and no one would know the difference but he didn't. He scoured Los Angeles (and beyond) to find exactly what was needed. And the result was amazing. Nagy did a stellar job fixing my front driver's side headlight and sensor panel. Radius Auto Body could teach a MASTERCLASS in customer service and with this level of care, Radius Auto Body officially has a customer for life!
