Batteries Plus in Vacaville

I stopped by to purchase a replacement fluorescent tube (24") that had burned out under one of my cabinets. The guy at the counter informed me fluorescent bulbs can't be sold in CA anymore (because they contain mercury, and LED lights are a better alternative all around). Score one for the environment. So I went home, found a replacement fixture, and installed it. Then I replaced another fixture another when it burned out a couple weeks later - and then 3rd fixture a month after that. So - I've replaced three of these things (about $45 each). Then, a couple weeks ago I saw LED replacement lights for fluorescent fixtures for sale at Home Depot. And Amazon. And everywhere that sells bulbs. Except of course, this place. I could have just bought new bulbs for less than $20, with no hassle of removal/installation/waste removal. A real D*** MOVE on the counter guy's part.

Very pleased with the service technician who installed a new battery in our 2019 grand Cherokee. The battery is located under the passenger seat.

Store had the product in stock…price was comparable to similar products…but they have a 15% promo ($30 max) which gave me a better price…plus no core charge($15-22)…discount and core can exceed $50.00(competitors charge)staff is friendly and helpful…the only negative experience…wasn’t with me…I witnessed a refund was denied due to missing original packaging…who keeps packages over a few days…customer service has changed and mostly not for the good…

Great experience and knowledgeable staff. I bought a car with 2 FOBs, but one was dead. The good news is that it only needed battery replacement and it was working just fine.

Jon's customer service was excellent. Jennifer, on the other hand, needs training on how to treat customers. I arrived a minute before closing because of traffic and she was put out even locked the door so "no one else came in" and turned off the lights while I was still being helped by Jon.

Excellent service on my insurance covered cell phone repair. The young man with the Tungsten ring was efficient and operated with an appropriate sense of urgency as he performed a systems analysis. They repaired my phone quickly. Everyone was friendly.

Excellent source for car and truck batteries, Boat and Rv batteries, or key fob batteries! The lifetime warranty fob battery replacement can't be beat! They can even test batteries as well. I know I can trust these guys to get me what I need or show me how to find it elsewhere. (Dislaimer: I also work here and love batteries and electronics, so I am a smidge biased)

Incredibly rude employees. They are pushy when trying to sell you stuff yet extremely unhelpful when help is needed. I work with industrial electrical systems and in my opinion I was very surprised with the lack of employee knowledge which was delivered in a very pushy and condescending way. Fortunately as a consumer I have many other choices. I'm voting with my wallet; I will never return. I hope the management is intelligent enough to understand that businesses need consumers. Consumers have many online choices; for a store with a physical presence to be successful, it's important for the store to focus on good customer service; in my opinion the store falls short on polite service.
