Horrible experience. Avoid if possible Adding more now, after 3+ years, since it still gives me the creeps every time I see one of the Bellows trucks. We just had 2 heat pumps installed by Advantage Heating and Sheet Metal out of Holister and we were extremely happy with their professionalism and fairness. Do yourself a favor and at least get a quote from them as well. Regarding the job Bellows did for us: A Bellows lead electrician called us the day he was supposed to show up to coordinate the hook up to our hot tub that was being delivered, demanding a change order that almost doubled the price of the quoted job. This was the first we had heard of it and his tone was aggressive and condescending. He could have let us know in the 2 weeks from when they did the prep work until now, when the coordination was critical, but spung it on us that day. I was surprised that my wife could listen to his belligerent tone for as long as she did (he was on speaker phone). Finally she generously told him we would pay him for the full quoted job (that was not finished) and that we don t want him on the property anymore. We hired our favorite electrician, Damien Strobel, to complete the job. He had to remove the undersized cheap aluminum wire that they had installed and had to dig out clogged conduit that Bellows had improperly installed. It cost us about the same that Bellows was trying to gouge us for, but at least it was done right ( copper wire at the proper AWG) with an honest company. Bellows called my wife to understand why we gave a bad review and didn t apologize or compensate for the bad experience I guess this is just the way they expect their employees to behave. Check out my other Google reviews, they are not all negative and this is not a paid for review .. just a warning to not do business with this company. After speaking with other contractors about this experience, it appears that Bellows is known to quotes their projects to get the job and then spring change orders later to jack up the price. Change orders are ok if there is a surprise discovered that required extra work, but in our case it was simply running power to the hot tub; we didn t change anything that should have affected the job.

Yesterday I called Bellows to check my tankless water heater that was not heating. Today I first met with Peter, who confirmed that it was an electrical issue. A few hours later, Derik the electrician solved our problem. Both men were on time, courteous, communicative and efficient. Our bill was amazingly reasonable given the professionalism and time the 2 employees gave to our issue. I recommend Bellows whole- heartedly.

Marcos quickly repaired a broken pipe in my domestic water pump system, then discovered an additional leak. This was more challenging and it was late, but Marcos took it on and even drove 25 + miles round trip to get the right pipe, then quickly reassembled the system. I wasn t able to test it till the next day when I refilled my 5,000 gallon water tank. The system came right up to pressure and no leaks. Very happy with Marcos work!

We ve had several types of household service done by Bellows at this point plumbing, electrical, and heat/AC system maintenance. They ve all been great! They show up when they say they will, they send confirmations for the appointments and notifications when they re en route, they send estimates as needed, and it has been easy to sign off on the estimates and to pay them online. Steve Huth was at our house a few hours ago to check out some issues we were having with our heater/AC unit, and he asked great questions, sorted out several issues, and pointed out some things to monitor and some fixes for us. We appreciated the good & thoughtful advice! Shout out also to Dax & Jax for all of their help with our many plumbing issues on site. And to Mike for talking us through the many options for water heaters and helping us to make good choices. We had a leak that seemed to be coming from our hose but it was actually from a pipe inside our wall. Luckily, Scottie was able to find it AND repair it that day! It was in a tough spot but he did it. It s always refreshing when your repairman feels bad about YOUR issue. He was really nice and we joked about a few things here and there, which is refreshing. Bellows came out to do maintance and some warranty work on my generator. Technician showed up on time and provide a time-line for work. Kept to schedule and kept me updated. Everything was taken care of, and technician went through the work done and gave me pointers on things to do between maintance appointments.

Bellows installed a Mitsubishi heat pump system at our house almost a year ago. We absolutely love our mini-split system! It heats & cools our house. Recently, we thought one of the inside air handler heat pump units was misbehaving, and we couldnt revive it and we were worried that it was somehow broken, so we called for help. The air handlers operation light was blinking steadily and it would not function: no fan & no air flow. It was unresponsive to everything we tried. We couldnt diagnosis the problem based on information from the manufacturer (online & in the handbook). We tried everything (turned it off, cleaned the filter, turned it back on, etc.). Eventually, for an unknown reason, the unit began working again, but the technician from Bellows was already on his way to our house. Although there was nothing to repair when he arrived, we greatly appreciated the technicians explanations as to why the air handler unit had been blinking, and what it means and what to do if the blinking happens again. He said that we must have had one of the indoor units set to cooling and another unit set to heating (!). When this happens, the main indoor unit will continue to function and the secondary units will just sit there and blink steadily. He also helped us better understand how to operate the system (how the automatic setting works, and whether it would be best to turn the units off or just lower the temperature...he recommended just lowering the temperature and leaving the units turned on). While he was at our house, I also had him inspect the outdoor compressor unit because I was very concerned about the condition of the insulation on the copper refrigerant tubing between the unit & the house. He looked at it and said it was OK and slid the insulation back into position to fully cover the tubing. Overall, we felt reassured by the technicians calm demeanor and patience with our worries and ignorance. We were very glad for the short visit! It was easy to schedule a visit and we appreciate the text messages and phone calls to let us know about arrival times. Also, looking back many months to the installation, the Bellows crew was great!

Bellows showed up for my clogged toilet, when a booking mistake could have sidetracked the job. The plumber was fast, thorough, and the price was less than expected. What s not to recommend?

Several years ago, I switched from Tinos, which had caused me more plumbing problems than they solved, to Bellows. And what a difference! Bellows is very customer-service oriented, management is fair and reasonable, Bailey and others in the office are unfailingly helpful, and the technician I always request, Nick Sanchez, is an ace plumber. Nick has done several jobs for me now, including replacing the original sewer line in my old mobile home so that the pipes make better use of gravity. Ive had zero drain clogs since then. Nick is skillful, thorough, and an excellent communicator. I appreciate that hes never rushed and, unlike other contractors who scan their cell phones when Im trying to talk to them, Nick gives me his full attention and thoughtfully addresses my concerns. I couldnt imagine a better plumbing company.

Weve worked with Bellows on our whole house generator project and have nothing but good things to say about them. For starters, they gave us a really good quote on the project which included the electrical panel upgrade, generator installation and all the permits. All of their personnel was very friendly and professional, they came on site for all of the inspections which made those a breeze and they were real troopers working through the problems that arose and getting Generac to replace the faulty engine that was leaking oil. Were very happy with both the quality of their work and their attention to details.

Nate M. came to our home to investigate and diagnose a rotten egg smell coming from our cold water discharges. Although the repair is pending due to parts availability, Nate was able to narrow it down to two possibilities. In his estimate for repairs, we were pleasantly surprised he was able to get at least one part (hopefully two) covered under warranty. Nate was very pleasant and professional. If you have an EcoWater soft water / reverse osmosis system, I highly recommend Nate and Bellows Plumbing as your plumbing professional!

Mini splits installed in August not functioning properly. Service tech was dispatched quickly and diagnosed the problem to wit a coolant leak. Now just waiting for them to come out and find the leak I Really hope they don t have to rip into the sheetrock to find and fix the leak

Bellows installed a heat pump at or home in Aug 2023. The crew, Mikey, Jamie and Alvie, was really good. They were very polite, and were accommodating while I was home with a 7 mo baby. They did a great job cleaning up every day. They also seemed highly efficient; they ran a bunch of refrigerant lines through our tiny attack, plus routing exterior lines and electrical, all in 3 days. The Mitsubishi mini split remotes are a bit lackluster; they dont show the temp reading, just the set point, and the programming options are very limited. Bellows = thumbs up, Mitsubishi = meh.

Three weeks of freezing. do not get a heat pump from bellows Heat pump installation three weeks ago and still no heat and over seven visits from their many guys over the last three weeks After a three day installation, it does not work then another visit one says it s the thermostat then the circuit board then the refrigerant needs to run for a day and now I have asked about a new condenser but need Mitsubishi rep to see it. And waiting for this. The unit was built in 2022 I complained about this to a manager Stephanie Today I received a note from a third party saying they will put a lien on my property and could take the house per state law 8100 I could not believe it and They have not finished the contracted work It is freezing in my house

We had a tankless water heater problem, Joe came out and took care of it. Before he came out we were told by another plumber that the unit needed to be replaced. Joe explained it needed maintenance. Works like new.

After the water softener installation we found a little water leak in the system. I called Bellows plumbing on Saturday afternoon. The team was very responsive and they were able to send a technician the next day (Sunday morning). The leak was fixed and I m really happy with the way this was handled.

The team that installed our heat pump/air handler (Mikey, Jamie, and Alex) was very efficient, friendly, and considerate. Overall, their front desk people and project managers Derik and Russell were great to work with.

From the initial phone call to the technicians completing the service it was a great experience. Everyone was friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Bellows quoted the HVAC for our home after inspecting the existing system. Their price was high but by going thru Costco their bid became low since Costco offered discounts. They verbally guaranteed me that their quote was all inclusive and there would not be any surprises later. We scheduled the work and they did not show up. I called and was informed that they couldn t do the work until I signed a change order for an additional $2000. They had told me there would be no addition items to complete the work and yet they wanted more money to do the work. I cancelled their contract and got another firm to do the work. I do not recommend using this company since they are not honest.

Reached out via website late Thursday evening, had an 8 AM Friday appointment scheduled 10 minutes later. Scotty the technician was prompt and friendly. Found a crack in a shut off valve after having installed a dishwasher supply line. Installed a new double shut off valve and was out before 10. Highly recommend.

After 10 minutes, having been paid $149, the agent declared my home air heater was so old it could not be fixed. So he sent an estimate for around $4000. I called another local company, who also noticed how old the system was, but jumped in and repaired two key parts, billing a total of $1000. The heater works as new. Shame on bellows. Instead of working to fix the problem, it jumped to the best return for themselves. Not fraud. But nearly.

My service tech, Nathan, was professional, efficient and has an outstanding customer service attitude. I especially liked that he explained the work in terms I could understand.

I really appreciated my repairman, Jeff! He was very personable and knowledgable.

Had a pinhole leak occur late at night and they responded to my vmail first thing and were able to have someone show up midday to repair the work. All covered by their warranty.

We continue to maintain the Bellows Annual Membership program which allows for annual inspection/maintenance on all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. Jeff recently came out to handle the HVAC/Air Conditioning inspection and was extremely professional and knowledgeable and identified some areas that needed attention. We also had our electrical inspection completed by Keegan who was also extremely professional and knowledgeable. Bellows consistently hires and retains knowledgeable professionals like Jeff and Keegan to support its customers.

I chose not to go with Bellows, due to another local company that was able to fix it immediately. Bellows encouraged me to purchase a new system. Time will tell if I needed to replace it.

Needed to find a sewer odor in house. All things were checked traps clogged vents etc. I now needed a smoke test of vent system. Called Bellows Plumbing. Came out next day , brought all equipment needed and especially two very qualified techs Marco and Juan. Double checked traps, checked for leaks, found all was good. Setup smoke machine, called to alert fire department of smoke test. Found leak inside wall within 15 minutes. Fixed broken vent elbow near shower, retested. Success and happiness! We had to cut down not Sheetrock for repair. They even have a division that does that! Amazing! One stop has done it all. Couldn t be happier. Thanks Marco and Juan.

I was told a technician would be at my house between 3 and 5 pm, but then they sent him to Carmel Valley.

Marcos Escobar spent almost 2 hours at our home explaining options to replace our water heater we had the choice to replace what we had (tankless gas) or an electric tank. We wanted to switch to electric, but needed a circulation pump as our shower is about 40 feet away from the hot water source. Marcus made lots of measurements, and crawled under the house to determine the size of existing gas and waterlines. He came up with solutions to work in the confined space of an old, single car garage. Following his visit, I had at least two phone conversations with Marcos. He patiently answered all my questions, never indicating even the slightest bit of impatience. Our thoroughly professional experience with Marcos is why we have selected Bellows to do the job. Every action that was taken was done on time, as planned, and with nice additional touches. For instance, when they needed in light in our basement, rather than brining in a portable light, they installed a light fixture for them to use, and for me to have in the future.

Bellow Plumbing was fantastic all the way through our new furnace installation. The original tech that came to analyze the system and make recommendations was very professional and walked us through the process, explaining what we needed and why. The quote we received was about what we expected, and at the end was exactly what was charged, no extras or add-ons. The crew that did the installation was also very professional, worked quickly and were very courteous in walking us through what they were doing. Overall an excellent experience and will definitely call them again when the need arises.

The Bellows technician who came to my house to diagnose the problem was good. They gave me estimates for the work to be done that seemed very high, however. In the end, I was able to get the work done for about half the price the quoted, by another reputable business. Just saying you should get more than one estimate before spending hundreds of dollars.

My final check to pay for our A/C was fraudulently cashed. After filing the claim with my bank I asked Bellows to be patient, and the moment the funds were returned to my account they would immediately be paid. This was done within two weeks. They were paid in full. In the meantime they filed a lien on our property. Never again will I do business with Bellows Plumbing.

Bellows people who showed up were polite, professional, honest and helpful with their suggestions and analysis for both a complicated hydronic house heating issue and a water heater issue both of which had complicated unique issues.

Exceptional service. Bellows Plumbing came out to fix a leaky faucet. The plumber was competent, efficient and thorough. He not only repaired the leaky faucet but offered to order a part (valve o ring) incase it happened again (the o ring was installed improperly) I would recommend Bellows. No wonder they have a 4.8 rating

Outstanding work. Nick and crew replaced our ancient heater with a complete new heat pump system including duct work. Not an easy job given the layout of our home. Left the home spotless each day, zero debris left ever. Very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly crew. Update 3/04/2024 Heat pump service. We highly recommend Bellows Plumbing. We called them for an estimate, and it turned out to be quite a large job. Their prices are fair. They kept us informed about when they would show up, and who would be there, with photos of the workers. The men were knowledgeable, personable, and skilled. And their office people are also amazing, going above and beyond to answer questions and get us the best possible results. You rock, BELLOWS!

Scheduled them to come by and take a look at my furnace. I asked them to help me prolong its life and just generally get it running properly. They spent 20 minutes on it told me two things wrong with it and that it just needed to be replaced. Keep in mind it still works. I found the two parts online from the manufacturer and spent about an hour completely untrained to figure out exactly how to do what I had tried to hire a repairman to do. Guess I saved myself a few grand not going for the $11,000 replacement he quoted me on. Parts ended up being about $250 and can be replaced with a Philips head screwdriver in under an hour. Pathetic excuse for an HVAC repair company.

This was a flat fee troubleshooting visit. Pricy at $189. I didn t shop around to find the cheapest deal, rather looked at reviews and decided to go with an established business. The scheduler on the phone was doing a good job. Technician Jonathan called ahead of time to give me a heads up about his arrival, was friendly, knowledgeable and discussed my options in some detail.
