No doubt the most honest and respectable automotive mechanic I have come across on the Peninsula. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, this company saved me from being swindled into paying thousands of dollars for work that was truly not necessary. Chelsi is awesome, she took her time to explain all the details of what was wrong with the vehicle so I could make an informed decision. I will recommend this business to all my friends, family, and the internet because they are genuinely good and trustworthy people!
Last week, I put gas in my car at Quick Stop. when I went to restart the engine, nothing would happen. It was dead. I had the hook up and a very nice gentleman tried to help me and he also recommended Solis Automotive, I then called a tow truck and that company also recommended Solis as well. I did bring my car to Solis, and left the auto over night. Thinking I would get an enormous bill, I was very surprised to learn it was reasonable. They fixed the problem and the service was outstanding. Chelsi kept me informed and was extremely courteous. Solis Automotive has won my trust and now I am their customer for all auto needs. These guys are the best, most honest, helpful and friendly auto shop I've ever been to. They're my guys from now on. They fixed up a new trailer I bought. Repaired my 99 tahoe including replacing an entire motor.
I cannot say enough great things about this business. I was leaving town for a few days and needed front rotors and brakes replaced (was shaking badly when I applied brakes). They fit me in right away and completed the job while I was gone. My car was ready for pick-up as soon as I landed back in California. I was super impressed with the constant open communication throughout the entire process, and was made to feel as if my car was the only one they were working on (even though they were extremely busy)....That is how an amazing business is run!! Great job Joe and Chelsi, and thank you.
My coworker recommended Solis Automotive for my 100,000 mile service. I scheduled my appointment, brought my car in, and detailed my concerns/needs. Joe took a thorough look at my vehicle and was open and honest with regard to what I needed and what I didn’t. Trust that you won’t get charged for services that you don’t need. Joe is without a doubt the most ethical and fair mechanic I’ve ever had service my vehicle. I highly recommend his services and will be bringing my other vehicles to this shop in the future.

I brought my car in on a referral and they totally lived up to my expectations. They figured out the problem that no one else seemed to by using the diagnostic code saving me $200. The car was surprisingly finished in a day!
Happy that Solis is back. Made the mistake and trusted a so called mechanic name John Smith and he didnt do the work he said he did. Solis made it right! Wont go to any other mechanic as long as Solis is available.
Best service in town
Highly recommend. We called in the morning and were told to come by in the afternoon to check on some strange noise coming from the wheel area. We were seen promptly at our reservation time and the mechanic was friendly and knowledgeable giving great advice and getting us back on the road quickly. Really nice and trustworthy guy.

In an industry that honesty can often be questioned, I found it refreshing that the service was provided professionally and priced reasonably. Owner/Operator is a good man and a throwback to an era when a handshake was like a contract. The world could use more Joe Solis.

This is the most honest and fair auto shop I ve ever been to. The people are down to earth and actually listen to what you want done. The service is ALWAYS fast and I m always shocked at how low their prices are. They don t try to sell you doom and gloom and are honest about what needs fixing and what can wait. A franchise location quoted me $2100 for labor and services and the amazing people at Solis did the same thing for $500. Don t go anywhere else!
