These guys are the best. Engine started and idled fine but would not accelerate under load . Took them a while to figure out what was wrong but they finally did. Only charged for parts as the engine was under warranty from a previous repair.

Great place to purchase a motor and get all the necessary rigging. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and the product was mostly in stock locally. The additional items ordered arrived overnight - so much better than the online retailer I originally contacted.

These guys are great! Got me in an out and good timing for some warranty work.

I called looking for help with my handa 25 horse,the guy was rude as he'll, I won't take it for service,or buy parts there,I guarantee that they will loose customers with very poor service

I had my 200hp Yamaha at another shop for lots of money and didnt get it repaired. I was about to buy a new one but decided to give these guys a cpl hours to see if it was something simple the other repair shop missed. He had it off and on for over a year and told me to " come get your boat its ready " 7 times and I never got out of the harbor! They figured out what he couldnt in 2 hrs. They are trained professionals. They return calls, they update,they deliver on promises. I have the same 200hp Yamaha and am happy to have my boat back on the water!! My family and I live aboard our sailboat - so having a reliable outboard is important to us. Because of this, we purchased a Yamaha 6hp Outboard thru Monterey Bay Marine. Within 6 weeks I had 2 completely separate issues with the engine which their technicians were unable to diagnose. The first was the bushings that hold the fuel tank to the engine. These were wearing through within 3-4 weeks. They have now been replaced twice, but the techs still can't explain why they are wearing through so quickly, showering the inside of the cowling in rubber dust. They have no solution for me, other than continuing to replace these bushings every month thru warranty. Most importantly, though, the engine catastrophically overheated, melting the collar between the head and shaft. Their techs couldn't explain the overheat - they replaced the melted collar, tried running it in a test tank, and when they were unable to reproduce within an hour, told me to come back if it overheats again. I called Yamaha, and they told me that they won't work with me, and I needed to work with the dealer. I tried to work with the owner to get a replacement unit. He said "why should I take a loss on this?" Great service from the in-store team and techs. Terrible issue resolution from the owner, Dave. Buy your engines elsewhere, folks - these guys do not stand by their products or customers.

They are honest and walked me through the options available to fix my boat then performed the work quickly and precisely, without going over the estimate. This is the only place that I go to get work or maintenance done on my boat.
