Central Coast Four Wheel Drive in Santa Cruz

My buddies truck had some sort of problem in the front end, and all the other shops ran from it but these guys fix it. I give them five stars.

The go to for 4x4 truck work and modifications. Greg is a straight shooter.

All I half to say is there is no question on who to go to for any 4x4. This is the place hands down. The owner is the master of 4x4. Don’t go anywhere else.

Came in for lifted wheel rub new Tacoma. Owner took care of us on the spot no questions asked no charge. Just old school local business ethics. As a local this place is the go too.

Greg and his mechanics are honest good guys that do great work! They did not cut any corners while doing several major jobs for me on my Ford f350. They used the most quality parts available. They completely rebuilt my front end, installed a new cv drive shaft, rear blocks, adjusted my drive line angle, new tires and welded a crack in my frame. They changed inner seals that others have left in the past. My truck has never felt better. These guys are the best!

I took my Jeep XJ here for an axle shaft replacement. After talking with Greg, I made an appointment. My work schedule is tough so I dropped it off the night before and put my keys in his drop box. At 1:30 the next day, he called me and said she’s all done. I paid over the phone and picked it up late that evening. I’m thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and speed that Greg and his awesome crew did. I hate when other people work on my Jeep, it’s my baby. However I will 100% be a customer here for life from this point on!

They are very nice, very helpful. Only waited like Tweety minutes to get my tire fixed from a nail with a slow leak. I recommend them to anyone.

Met with Greg last week and today we ordered everything for my truck. Very straight forward and to the point,I appreciate that especially for someone unfamiliar with some of the lingo. 25 years in business says a lot. UPDATE Wow the customer service afterwards is non existent. They put the wrong running boards on and didn’t even offer to replace them now I’m stuck not being able to reach my tool box without getting in the truck bed. UPDATE2 After 4 years I went back for new tires and grumpy Greg took down my info tire size etc. and NEVER called me back. I reached out after a week and he acted like he had no idea who I was. I decided to take my business else where to a place that wants my hard earned $ and has great customer service. Big O tires hooked me up and is always happy to see me for free regular rotations, dry reasonable oil changes etc etc. I actually tried several 4x4 shops that ended up not being able to help me. Who knew Big O was the place. Avoid Santa Cruz 4x4 unless your buddy buddy with Greg. It’s a shame.
