And the next time, I got it fixed for 20$ in a store, which is 2 miles away from ur garage . Talk about quality service!! SCAM Alert Dont trust these guys! They scammed me 45$ just to fix a flat tire. I just moved from texas. They were like in California it costs 45$ for flat tire. I bought the tire for 50$ and had to get flat tire repair for 45$. Scammer alert!

Never really leave reviews, but felt it would be right to. Had to take my car in for a brake pad and rotor change. I had been asked to replace all 4 wheels from another mechanic, but they told me I needed only the front two (had known about this but wanted to check). While it did take longer than expected and had to leave it overnight since the parts weren t there, they did their best to get things done and I appreciate that. They did their best to keep their word and I really appreciate their effort to keep everything transparent. I respect their ethic and honesty and will definitely be going to them for my repairs. If you re looking for a new mechanic, give them a try.

Misdiagnosed. I had squeaky noise coming from my wheels. Kasim looked at my brakes and said that the rear rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced. I was quoted $500. I had another shop look at my car and it turns out it was the FRONT brake pads that needed to be replaced. Rear had plenty left. $200 done. Squeaky noise is now gone.

I ve been a customer for four years and I do all my service (including oil change) for our cars strictly at this shop. Kasim and the team run a well organized shop, with honesty and integrity. They are busy but I never felt they rushed my car. Four years ago a friend recommended this shop to me when I had a problem with my car overheating (a problem created by another auto service, which I don t want to get into). When they diagnosed the problem they explained it clearly to me, what caused it, and then followed up with the image of the bad radiator that had to be replaced. I had felt angry at that other service shop but at the same time relieved to know I was in good hands. Since then they have always taken good care of our cars, going above and beyond from time to time. Recently, while doing the oil change, the mechanic David noticed a small problem with the clamp on the tire, which was causing the tire to lose pressure, and fixed it no charge. I would have gladly paid for it but he just waived me off. I felt relieved that I don t have to add pressure to practically new tires every couple of weeks anymore. Today I feel compelled to write this review because again these guys fixed the problem for real. A month ago I was driving up near Petaluma when my car stopped and I had to go to any mechanic that could see me. That Petaluma shop replaced the battery, but for whatever reason they didn t know to replace the failing alternator. Again, Kasim not only identified the problem, but explained why and checked the car over before fixing it and returning it to me. One last thing. On my way out, Kasim said to nevertheless watch for any signs of trouble and if anything seems suspicious to just bring the car back and he ll check it. This is important to me: I know anyone who works can make a mistake or miss something. But when I find someone who is interested in fixing the problem for me (for a very reasonable price) and not just take my money, I m coming back even for oil change. I want them to have all my business.

K&S did a great job in repairing my Honda Accord Sports pearl grey. Someone rear-ended my car, K&S changed the bumper, colored and it looks all new now. I needed my car urgently, K&S worked over the weekend to deliver my car before time. The insurance inspector added some delays, but K&S even sorted that out. The guy at the front office was very helpful. I am very happy with K&S auto repair service and highly recommend it.

Ive been a customer for the last 6 years. This my favorite local shop. Kasmin runs a well organized, efficient auto repair shop. Potential service options were presented and I asked for his recommendation. The options were well explained. The car was serviced and ready faster than I expected. A+ P.S. The shop is also open till about 7 most days, so if you need to call after work to setup an appointment you can.

I recently used their services to fix my car door and brakes; was pretty impressed by the quality and service time.

They were able to fix tire punctures quickly and at a reasonable price.

I had recently changed a fuel vapor sensor on my car which was responsible for showing the engine light. After changing it, the light turned off for a while but came back after about 2 days. I brought my car in to this place to see if there was anything wrong with the sensor, and as I was leaving my car there the light turned off again. Decided to leave it just to double check. Turns out I had forgot to tighten the vapor line going to the sensor, which might have been bringing back the engine light. But why instead of just tighting the line they took the liberty of forcing the sensor off, claiming there was water in the line, and right off the bat suggesting I get an ODM sensor. Didn t even take the time to show me where the water was when I asked to be shown. Decided to leave and reinstall the sensor they took off myself. Now the same engine code/light immediately appears after clearing the code with obd2 as if it s really broken like it hadn t before.

I usually do not leave reviews but this is my third time visiting this place for a low tire, they didn t fix it properly the first time. When I visited then again, they asked me to come another day and time and today when I m here, their excuse is they don t have anyone to fix it. Terrible repair and customer service. I m charged for a job that is not even complete.

It s hard to find an honest mechanic. I ve brought my car in crazy situations (I have 4 cars!) and they have always bent over backwards to make my situation right. I have been to this auto-repair center couple of times for certain car repair work. Every time, I have received quite a warm and friendly welcome from the owner and few of his other employees. They have done great repair work until now at quite generous prices and, i have no complaints regarding their repair skills till date. I have also referred few of my friends to the same repair station and i must say, that it is a one stop shop for any car related problems if you wish to get satisfactory results in great prices.

It was definitely a fuel distribution issue, I was betting on lines or pump. K&S has a policy as of 10/2023 of 120 to diagnose a no-start problem. Fuel line issues are particularly problematic and take a long time to verify, but they honored their policy and did a great job replacing the fuel pump. Will be back for PM soon.

We had a last minute requirement of some body work to be performed on our vehicle. Kasim was generous to agree to a walk-in and take care of the problem without asking us to come back after the holidays. He was very professional and quoted us a fair rate. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their vehicle serviced.

They always solve my problems quickly. The owners are friendly. I needed an extra part and the owner personally went to a nearby auto parts store to pick it up. I would not be able to drive my car without them.

This car body shop is a mess. The owner and staff dont listen to what you want and cant seem to work together. They give you one price but end up charging way more for no good reason. And the quality of their work? Its terrible. When you ask them to fix something, they just ignore you or make excuses. Stay away from this place its nothing but trouble.

They quoted me an out-of-pocket cost to do some body repair and I decided to go for it. I was assured itll be done well and will look as good as new. But this was not the case, it didnt look as I had expected it to and once it got done they refused to re-do it. When I said Ill leave my car for longer (maybe an extra night), the owner said Ill be charged an overnight fee of $250 to keep the car since they have done their job (this was outrageous the way the owner spoke to us and dealt with the situation). I was very taken aback about how things changed once they felt their job was done. They asked me to come back after 2-3 weeks for some buffing work and so I did that. They took 2 nights and when I went to pick up my car, it didnt look like they had even touched it, it looked the same as it did 2 days ago. I had no strength left in me to leave my car there any longer and completely regretted my choice of getting this job done from them. TL;DR - dont go to them. They will ignore any feedback you give and will not care about rectifying it.

Rare is the service experience after which you are not only satisfied with the outcome but actually find the experience to be pleasant, even enjoyable. This is thanks to Kasims and Davids patience, professionalism and kindness in the process of replacing my blown head gastket for my mini cooper. to my suprise they were able to do the job at a cost that was lower than what other repair shops quoted. Kasim truly went the extra mile to anwer all questions , even about something that was beyond the scope of repair!

Went here for an issue with the gasket under my car. Guy in the office was super friendly and helpful, he came out and quickly fixed it. I was on my way in 2 minutes with the issue fixed!

My wife went to fix a tire with air leak. She doesnt know the prices, and they charged her 45$ for patching the tire even without removing the wheel. It took exactly 1 min. Other places charge 15$ for this.

My fathers old car wouldnt start even with a new battery, and found K&S Shop nearby with good google reviews, so I had the car towed to this shop. The next morning, car was fixed and back on the road. They diagnosed the starter problem, replaced it. Because it was an old car, I was a little hesitant to have an unknown shop look at it becuase Ive had shops pushing to replace everything. But the staff at K&S was professional, straightforward, and honest. I was extremely impressed with their service and felt very lucky to find a place like with a simple google map search.

Taken my BMW in May for AC failure due to coolant. They have added the refrigerant and said there are no obvious leaks and mentioned if there are any minor leaks, the AC will stop functioning in 2-3 months. Like they said it failed in 2 months. I called them and they suggested the issue could be bigger and might need to replace some parts after taking a look. I went to BMW service center this time and after their analysis, they mentioned the third party shop which fixed the AC didnt use proper tools and added a lot more refrigerant than what is recommended. They removed the refrigerant and added it as per specs and the AC is working fine after that.

Had a flat tire problem today, made a call and walk in, helped me fixed in 10 min. reasonable charge. Highly Recommend!

They broke my car frame when doing rear brake work - I found out only days later! Their brake pad has a squeaky noise when braking. They charged a high labor fee and refused to explain about basics like pad thickness. Dont go there for brakes.

I found the parts at a local auto parts store and these guys were able to get me and fix the problem within just a couple hours of calling. After I paid $169 to a different shop whose mechanic asked for an additional $400, Kasim said You already spent enough $ on diagnostics. He reduced his diagnostic charge and for less than $300, Kasim corrected my cars issue and it passed the emmissions test. Didnt find helpful. The owner took 40$ for a light bulb change (bulb was already provided to him) and while changing, he broke socket which causes melting of it and finally had to get it resolved at the service center of VW. Owner had great reviews on Maps, hence I went there. Unfortunately, my experience wasnt good.

My car was idle and disabled for 1 year+, within a couple days these gentlemen had my car fixed and working like new, despite a persistent tire warning issue which was resolved assuredly. Thank God I found K&S. My car has a high mileage, lots of problems. The EPS suddenly stopped working yesterday. They worked long hours and fixed my car and all other problems in one day. They not only fixed the EPS problem, but also fixed my long pending noisy front suspension system, metal to metal rear brake, airbag and a lot more in just one day. They cared that I wanted to get my car back soon so they worked long hours to get my car fixed. I would have spent double the money and 10x the time if I got my car serviced with the dealer. Went there for checking tire pressure. Very friendly guy, his name is Ray. After asking about their services, decided to do my car s maintenance there. They have lots of great comments.

I am so impressed with the service I got today ! I called up at around 3:30 and told them I would be there at 4:00 to get a nail puncture in my tire fixed. When I showed up, they were ready to look at the car and they had the tire fixed in 15 minutes ! All of this service for a really good price as well. When I got back to work, everyone was amazed that I got the tire fixed so quickly. I highly recommend K & S Auto Repair and will be back for future repairs.

Ray was great to work with. Not only did he complete the repairs in time but explained the whole process. He had pictures before/after and showed me what exactly he is fixing. This was the first time I was given a tour of what is under the hood.

I have been coming here for the past 4 years. The owner is a true gem . He always takes his time to diagnose the problem and never makes you pay unless he fixed the issue. They entire staff is fantastic I highly recommend them.

I wanted to give more than 5 stars for K & S and Kasim for being friendly every time I visit, and not overcharge me, but giving great and reliable service every time. Alright..... this is my second car and a second review for k & s on Yelp. I have been visiting k & s for 3 years now... I know Kasim very well ( the owner / manager ). I was driving old Audi before and he helped me fix the issues with my old car at a reasonable price every time. Now I m driving a new vw, and I came back to k & s for my car regular maintenance service. He quoted me 250 dollars for the maintenance and labor for what a vw service dealer quoted me 600 dollars..... I like the k & s for 3 main reasons.... 1. I never made any appointment, but Kasim somehow worked out to fix my car and return on same day. 2. He has a great ambience , he drops me off at a local coffee shop on his car or help me pick up lunch while my car is under maintenance. his staff seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. 3. Never overcharged or over quoted. He is very customer focused, very welcoming and carries a great responsibility in every action he does, whether taking to a customer or fixing his car. Im definitely coming back to k & s and highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful, family-owned little shop! Kasim and his lovely family own this shop and have been extremely efficient, polite, and thorough each time Ive been in. Im almost sad to be upgrading to a newer car since I know I wont be in there as often without my old clunker! Having said that, I want to clarify- I have never had to go back in again to have any work corrected as they always get it right the first time! Kasim always explains to me/shows me exactly what needs to be fixed, and what my options are. As a woman I greatly, greatly appreciate this! Additionally, the mechanics he has hired are either naturally great with doing the same or else he has trained them himself. The charges are always extremely reasonable and it has been my experience that they are at the lower range from what I see online as typical repair costs. Kasim and his family are kind, good people and the workers here are fabulous. I highly recommend this shop!!

Best place Ive been to since moving to Cali. They dont overcharge. Theyre so helpful, honest, and polite. It was the first place that Ive been to since moving here that I didnt feel like they were trying to take advantage of me because Im a female. They also have a very friendly cat! I have already told all of my friends.

I couldnt be happier with the service and attention to detail when the alternator in my car needed to be replaced. They not only rushed to finish repairing it since I was stranded more than 100 miles from home, Kasim stayed late to personally pick up the parts needed. Amazing guys who genuinely care.

I got a nail in tire a few days ago and I went this store for help. The owner is a really nice person. He helped me fixed the tire in 10 mintues with a reasonable price. Also he noticed my rear brake light not working and fixed it for free. I would highly recommend this place for repairs.

Went to this shop after work when my Tire Pressure light came on. They took a pressure gauge, repumped the tires a bit, and didnt even charge. Good people! Wish all repair shops ran like this.

I went to a GM dealership 3 times and they couldnt diagnosis the issue I had (thermostat needed to be replaced). K&S got it in a few seconds, I was in and out in less then a day. Repair was under <$300. Part MSRPs for ~$170-200. I know the shops get a discount, for finagle the parts sellers to get them cheaper, but service was great, prices are solid, work is high quality.

Kasim repaired the broken rear view mirror of my Honda Civic 2013 (even replacing the top painted panel from the old mirror on top of new one), removed the dent and scratched paint - all in all for 200$ on a busy Saturday in just over 3 hours. Will definitely recommend this guy - most of all because he has has honest pricing and tries to salvage and improvise on the situation as much as possible.

Khasim works for you and your car, meaning you can get good work done fast and cleanly. Price can be steep, but thats a factor of the area rather than the mechanics themselves.

5.0 star rating 12/31/2017 This is a Great place to get your vehicle serviced as well as for auto body work! I looked at the yelp reviews and approached him for an estimate. Kasim is a very straight forward and reliable person. There were quite a few issues in my car that had to fixed like rear bumper make up, front brakes, slow acceleration and rear passenger window controller etc. For evident issues he gave the estimate on the spot and for uncertain issues he gave me a fair idea and also told me upfront that they will know the exact issue only when they inspect the car. While they worked on the rear bumper, simultaneously they did a free full inspection of the car and gave me all the details. Really appreciate his clear and quick communication!! Infact he also sent me the old front brake rotor and air filter pics for records. He was also generous to include other minor paint touch ups as part of the bumper paint service. After 2 days, all issues in my car were fixed and its looking and working great right in time before the New Year! Overall a very satisfying experience and I highly recommend this place!!!

We made an appointment for a quick inspection at 2PM; they said it would take less than an hour. When we arrived, they said it would be 2-3 hours before they even started looking at it. Thats not how appointments work.

I have a 2010 Mercedes R350 and have damage (heavy dent and scratch) on rear panel and bumper from the accident. I decided to trust the review on this page and contact him. He is turned out to be super responsive and man of word including honesty. Honesty is a virtue. He made my Mercedes brand new again from the fix in promised time. I do not know how he did it but incredible job he did it for me. I really recommend him to take care of any vehicle damage and he will do his magic. If you search bodyshop, search no more. He will take good care of any vehicle.

This shop was wonderful: I got a flat tire on my way out of work, and all nearby tire & mechanic shops were closed. I saw K&S was still open and rushed there: the owner was able to patch my tire and check all my other tires within 10 minutes. He meant to leave for an appointment just when I arrived but saw that I was totally out of luck! It was just totally stellar service, and since its near my work Ill definitely be taking my car back! 5 minute flat repair with no waiting. A bit pricy, but still recommended if you are nearby and get a slow leak. Tire still holding up well after a month.

I have had few occasions of having my car repaired at Kasims place and have been very satisfied always. It has been fast and convenient. Kasim (the owner) is very genuine in his assessment of the problem and honest in his estimate. He is a person who will work with you to get right parts & repairs within your budget and at the same time not compromise on quality or security. If you are looking for honest & cost effective way of having your car repaired, this is the place you will want to come. And by the way, he has a very cute cat hanging around in the office.

Car stalled out on the highway by going into limp mode. Had the tow truck deliver it here. They had a diagnosis within an hour, and a fix (2 sensor replacements) by the next day. Friendly, fast, great quality, and at a good price. I would highly recommend this place to others.

I work for a non-profit organization that accepts cars as donations, and for over a decade, Kasim has helped us in fixing up broken down cars and preparing them to give to people in need in the community. He does this as a service to humanity and charges us minimally. Just a great mechanic and an even better person, highly recommended!
