ATS is so great! Repaired a number of issues (leakung and inoperable washer fluid, excessive play in steering, very loose gear shifter and funky turn signal lever) with my son’s Ford E350 converted camper van. Some easy fixes and some complicated fixes were all resolved for a fair price and with wonderful service. Suzanne and the mechanic were great to work with - nice, clear and communicative. Perhaps most of all, they earned my trust regarding cost and quality of work.

I was a long time customer of Jack Neuhaus, who ran a top notch shop with excellent customer service and expert repairs. The crew at ATS@neuhaus is continuing the tradition. Suzanne is wonderful, and everyone is a total pro. I highly recommend this shop.

Reviews are all true. Went in for an oil change before a road trip, but had a brake issue pop up right as I pulled into their parking lot. Keith pulled it into their driveway and had a preliminary diagnosis on the brake issue within five minutes. Put the car on the lift, and confirmed the issue within twenty minutes, all while doing the oil change while I waited. Suzanne is the Service Advisor, she's an absolute gem. If you're their for just a quick service, she'll make sure you're well attended to and not lonely during your wait. Didn't bat an eye when I told them I do most of my own work - no judgement, still happy to work on my car. Keith is a solid dude that will take care of your car like his own, and he works with some like-minded people who truly care. Go see them.

For the last 10 years I have been a dealership only girl. Oil changes, tune-ups, major and minor services the whole nine yards. For all my loyalty to the dealership, when my car needed real work I was abandoned; I was told to buy a new engine or a new car at full price. A family friend told me about Neuhaus and after having gone there now with 2 separate vehicles for different major issues they have changed my entire outlook on customer service, automotive repair, and competency. With regard to their customer service, when I arrived I felt immediately taken care of, there was no unnecessary waiting, there was no red tape, and everyone was on top of their game doing what they do best. I really got the feeling that they were there for me...not the paycheck. I'm not a mechanical engineer, car repair is not my thing; what I do know is women tend to get ripped off, and I'm a woman. At the dealership, I felt I had to take their word at face value; if they told me something was wrong I had to believe them. Neuhaus on the other hand, provided regular updates on the progress, findings, and even sent me pictures to help me understand what they were talking about. An attendant telling me a bypass valve is corroded vs an attendant showing me a picture of a corroded bypass valve and telling me I might want to get that fixed are 2 different things entirely. The epitome of the Neuhaus experience, however, is Suzanne! She is amazing. Knowledgeable, honest, and unwavering in her due diligence to serving the customers. As a woman I am really happy I found a place with another woman with her experience, her expertise, and her desire to see the best outcome for her customers. Her level of competence is unmatched, not only in the automotive industry, but across the board. If you are looking for honest work at an honest price look no further. I've known Jack and Co for well over 20 years. He is the most HONEST auto tech/repair person I've ever met, no exaggeration. He's also darn good and my father was a service tech so my comparison "bar" is very high. I have no hesitation recommending Neuhaus to anyone who needs reliable service for their foreign-made vehicle.

Moved last year after using Neuhaus Service for the three years I lived in San Rafael. In over 40 years of owning a car, this is one of THE BEST mechanic shops around. It came recommended from a friend who'd had his cars worked on here for years. Jack is honest, reasonable, and always had things done and ready when promised. I will miss being able to use this shop. If you want good, solid service at a great price, don't pass this up.

Jack was actually referred to me by a service tech at the Lexus Dealership. He solved my transmission issue with ease and very little expense. He has shown himself, to be honest, highly competent and a good value. Twice this year he has bailed me out of issues that could have been a much larger expense elsewhere. Every customer seems to know him and speaks with him like an old friend. The highest of recommendations.

Neuhaus Service was recommended to me by a work colleague several years ago. Since then, my wife and I have been taking our two Subarus there for servicing and repairs (one is 20 years old) and have always been pleased with the quality of their work, as well as their honesty, reasonable pricing, and personal way of treating customers. They are unquestionably the best auto repair service I have ever used.
