Finally Brought my baby to San Leandro ford service center. Gone to the other ford dealers before. The one I go to normally is a bit far. I am glad I tried the San Leandro location. 1st Got great service From Billy Severs my service advisor. Came to get an alignment on my ford lightning. Made the appointment online no issues at all. Plus my advisor was kind enough to inform me of services ford offers to its customers that make it easier to get routine service and work. So I was offered a trip back home I was planing on waiting for my truck. But got my lightning dropped off at my home. Next time I will use the pick up drop off service. You know how easy this will make my life now since I am a wheelchair user and rely on help. It’s great to have a person that explains everything simple and right to point. No surprises and even got a car wash before the dropped it off. Looks like I found my go to service center. Will make sure to ask for Billy Severs I had a smooth and great experience I actually felt like I was cheating somehow since it was so simple and easy to get the work done.

Two days ago my wife and I drove our rented F150 Lightning XLT all the way from Fair Oaks through the beginning bomb cyclone to get a good deal on the exact same vehicle trim listed at Ford Store in San Leandro. We were a little late for the appointment set up by Paige, but we received a warm greeting from Jason, and Jasmine took her time helping us through the purchase process, and then Tomasz helped us through the financing paperwork. They all stayed past closing time to accommodate us, and we were relieved not to feel any sales pressure after an extremely exhausting week. Just took advantage of the amazing deals on the Ford F-150 Lightning at the Ford Store of San Leandro. I live in Contra Costa Co. and started shopping at Future Ford in Concord where I explained exactly what I wanted and how much I could pay and what I needed to get for my trade-in. After an hour or so of games with the salesman and his manager, I bailed. I had seen ads for the San Leandro dealer online with amazing deals and decided to reach out. I texted with the internet manager, Viva, and explained exactly what I was looking for and the deal that I was looking to get. Within a few minutes, she confirmed she could pull off the deal and the next day I picked up my truck. The experience in the dealership was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was able to complete credit application and other paperwork online before I arrived. When I arrived there was a little bit of waiting, but ultimately after a few signatures, I was handed my new keys and was on my way! There were no high pressure sales efforts to get me to buy add-ons (maintenance plans, paint protection, and the other crap most dealers usually try to sell you). Inquired about a Mach-e premium I saw on the San Leandro Ford dealership website (3/20). Worked with Robyn via text and email and made an appointment for 3/22 to see the car and complete the buying process (they ran my credit on 3/21 and said I was good to go). I show up for my scheduled appointment on 3/22 and find out that Robyn was off Ok, things happen, schedules change. The sales lady that met me outside was more than willing to help me out. I show her the stock# of the Mach-e premium I was working with Robyn on and after about 10 minutes of looking for the key, she tells me that the car was sold the week prior. Needless to say I was extremely frustrated, especially because I had driven from Tracy to close the deal. Will not be coming back!

I have been a customer of Ford San Leandro for ten years and have my vehicle serviced regularly. At times my repairs were extensive, but most of the time normal service and upkeep. Whatever the circumstances, San Leandro Ford was efficient, through and made my vehicle roadworthy as quickly as possible.
Had to take my car back because their technicians didnt fix my car correctly. Then got charged by fastrak because my vehicle had gone over the Vallejo bridge during the time when they had my vehicle. They still have yet to compensate me for the tolls and late fees they caused. If you want to buy a ford I recommend any dealership but this one.

We purchased a car six months ago and the engine blew in it. We found out that it was a recall from Ford. They took the car and ordered the new engine, repaired everything that was affected and provided a rental car while the car was in service. it was in service for a little over 30 days, but to be fair it was over the holidays. There were days that the repair shop was closed due to Christmas and New Years. Tom in the service department was very helpful, Informative and communicated everything that was going on each step of the way. He worked with Ford on getting the repairs done without cost. I would recommend Ford service shop to anybody who needs help. With their car.

Ordered my new car online after a horrible experience ordering from Oaklands Uptown Ford dealership. Sam the online rep immediately reached out to me through phone call and kept me updated through text and email. He ordered my vehicle and helped me fill out the paperwork digitally. Once the vehicle arrived at the dealership, Sam called me to schedule a walk through of the vehicle. Unfortunately, Sam couldnt meet me on the day of but put me in good hands with Jasmine who was very personable and helped me understand everything I needed to know about the pricing and vehicle. I have a 2023 super duty still in the shop for repair of shift interlock solenoid. I dropped my truck off in October 2024 and it is still in at S.L. Ford store. The service person keeps telling me the part is on back order. What can I do?

I purchased a Ford Mustang Mach E from San Leandro Ford. I worked with Viva Velez once she responded to my quote request. Her communication was prompt and precise. She also helped me get the vehicle of my choice by getting it from another dealership. When I went in to pick up the car, I was able to get in and out in under an hour. At no point during the car buying process, did I feel the pressure to buy. This was a very different experience from what I have had at other dealership. I will strongly recommend this store for any Ford purchases.

Transparent with pricing and accommodating. From start to finish I have been blown away by her kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend seeing her if you are looking for a car! I originally was very impressed with the pricing and ease of transaction with little knowledge of the hassle that would follow. I purchased my vehicle from out of state. I was never informed that I would not receive temp license plates. I proceed to try to register my vehicle and my financing company never received my title. I purchased my vehicle on 12/14 and still am unable to drive my car due to lack of paperwork being processed in a timely. I highly suggest if you are buying from out of state you look somewhere else.

Our van had a slipping transmission issue. The service department looked at it, ran tests and solved our problem. They were very communicative during the process AND they delivered the van to our house! Cant ask for more than that. We highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Yesterday I purchased my 2024 Edge from San Leandro Ford. I previously had a 2016 Edge and loved it. Gus was great and very helpful with my purchase. I found service less than excellent at San Leandro Ford. Additional notes were added at online appointment booking, to check left blinker, coolant and washer fluid levels. I was called to inform me my vehicle was ready. At that time I asked if the left blinker was checked due to it blinking quickly. The Ford rep said he wished I had mentioned this when checking the car in but he would have the service team check. Today, I tested the rear washer fluid and there is no fluid coming out. All staff I encountered were nice and friendly, and the complimentary Uber ride while my car was under Ford care is a nice perk. However, I do not plan on bringing my Ford to get serviced here in the future. I feel that I was sold on a glorified oil change service. If notes on the account were not addressed, very basic items, at that, I do not have confidence services sold to me were completed.

Since I work from home the service of being able to have mar car picked up and delivered back to my home allows me to keep working and not miss a beat. I have a warranty on my car. But, The dealership has went out of business.So, I had my bank email directly to Billy @ the Ford Store. He said he never got the email because of new firewalls installed @ The dealership. I thought that after I paid in full. He would still be looking out for the email.But no I also had a copy mailed to my house. I m also going to contact the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Concerning the dealership that is out of business.
The staff is helpful and kind and delivery of your vehicle upon completion of service is good, but slightly irritated by the fact that diagnosing of the issue was as far as the dealership could take it due to Ford no longer offering or having access to the replacement part for my vehicle. But on a brighter note the staff was very helpful and did say that if I happen to locate the part (which they gave me the part number to)that they could do the installation ,which dealerships don t normally do with parts not purchased from them.
Grant was the reason we bought our Bronco there. He was polite and not pushy when he discovered we were at the wrong dealer looking for the Bronco. He showed us the ones there and was very nice. He s also from our hometown!

Currently Im in the process of purchasing a new F-150 Lightning everything has been done online and over the phone. I live on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Ive been dealing with product specialist Viva Velez and she has been great to work with. Definitely a credit to the profession. So far so good. Hoping this process continues to be as smooth as it has been going.
Not only did I get the deal I wanted, but it was the smoothest sales experience I could have asked for. After having a negative experience at another Ford dealership, I was anxious to deal with another. My experience couldn t have been more positive. Grant Goo is by far the worst sales representative I have ever experienced. He is absent, pushy, rude, and insulting. I contacted management of his behavior and never received a response. He belongs at the Livermore branch where they are just as unethical and ridiculous to work with.

Grant and Ron were fantastic! Grant was so friendly and super knowledgeable. A lot of other dealerships the folks who work there seem either bored or not really friendly, and Grant was so refreshing to talk to and made the entire process a real joy. He helped us find the right car, with the right price, and was super patient and a pleasure to work with. Ron was also so friendly and made the final process incredibly smooth, I was dreading being there for hours but it was so quick and easy. A week into my car, mustang mach-e, I am loving the car. I ve owned multiple of the popular EVs and the design and thoughtfulness into the Mach-e is surprisingly really good, easy to use, good visibility, helpful notifications, super comfortable. Grant even followed up the available as I had questions, which really marked superior service and how much they care about you as a client. None of the other auto dealership in the past went this much out of their way. It s making me want to stick with ford and this dealership from now on.

Fast and friendly service
I wanted to share my recent experience following the recall service for my Ford Explorer due to malfunctioning cameras, during which I also had an oil change performed. I appreciated the convenience of Ford s pick-up and drop-off service; it was a positive aspect of the experience. However, when I used the car a couple of days later, I discovered that the automatic gear system was malfunctioning. The gears wouldn t change, and my attempts to use the manual gearbox (paddles) were unsuccessful. Given that the car has only 16,000 miles on it, this was extremely frustrating and disrupted my day, as I had to drive the car back to the Ford service department stuck in first gear. Additionally, I noticed grease hand marks all over the side and the bonnet when the car was returned, which was disappointing. The good news is that service manager Paul reacted very quickly to resolve the issue and went above and beyond to ensure I left with a positive outcome and a very clean car. I truly appreciate the personal touch he provided during this process. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and for the excellent service in resolving it! Best regards

After checking in my car. They provided me with Free shuttle to my home. When the car is ready for pick up. Ford Store San Leandro got me a free Uber and pick me up from my home. What an awesome service. I will surely use them again even though I live 12 miles from the Store.

A couple of weeks after I bought it, the super-strong-perfume-used-car-deodorant wore off and now the interior of my vehicle smells like an ashtray. Of course, after I bought the vehicle, I saw that the Carfax reported the vehicle was first sold in Oklahoma. EVERYBODY smokes tobacco in Oklahoma, even the babies!

We had a great experience. I knew exactly what I wanted and they respected that and did not push or pry. Grant Goo was our sales person and he was such a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgable, friendly and easy going. We went to other dealers and decided to go back and make a deal with them because the vibe was so positive, they gave us a great price right away without haggling, and Ford offered the lowest interest rates anywhere around. I am a happy camper and highly recommend checking them out...ask for Grant!

My trucks side mirror was scraped after I brought it in for an oil change. Although initially their response was slow, Paul, the manager, made things right: had the scratches buffed out and washed my car and promised me some future oil changes for my troubles. Paul was professional and sincere. I will come back again to The Ford Store if Paul is working there.
I should have read the reviews before I brought my Mach-E here for service, but I really didnt have a choice since this is the closest dealer to my house and my vehicle had a powertrain failure. I also had previously had a good experience getting a tire replaced quickly there. My car has been at this dealer for 45 days tomorrow. The part came in 11 days ago. I was told it would be ready for me on Friday, July 5th. I didnt hear back so I called on Tuesday, July 9th. My car had not even been brought in to have the work started. The GM/VP said it would be back to me today, Friday July 12th, but I was just told it is not ready. If I was the owner/ manager I would offer my team overtime to work this weekend to make this right and get my car back to me sooner. I realize the dealer has no control over when they will get a part in. The issue is the lack of proactive communication and over-promising/under delivering in terms of when I would get my car back. For weeks, in order to get an update, I had to call repeatedly. Owen was my service advisor. The service manager, Paul, who I have been dealing with this week, was realistic with me when he called to update me about my vehicle, but its still disappointing to not get my car back after being promised itd be ready on the Friday of the week 2x in a row.

The salesperson Martin lied to me about the vehicle being a non-smoker vehicle. A couple of weeks after I bought it, the deodorant wore off and the vehicle smells like an ashtray. I shouldnt have thought a used car salesperson would be honest.

Making an appointment with Felecia was not a problem. My Service Tech Jose arrived on schedule. He was very professional and explained in detail the work that was being done. Your service department is run extremely poorly. Somehow you passed the right rear tire as inflated to spec during your visual check when in actuality it was inflated to 30psi. Far below the recommended psi of 35. Your technician failed to find a puncture, because he wasnt looking it because he passed the vehicle. The service tech at BigO found the leak and they replaced the tire

There customer service skills is very lacking. Never followed up with me on the part they ordered for my car. I had to keep on calling to see it part was in yet, when I first was told it would take a couple of days. A month or so later I called back to see if the part was in and was told they had it. If I hadnt called back AGAIN, Ill still be waiting to hear back from them. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR BACK TO THEM.

I highly DO NOT recommend shopping for any car at San Leandro Ford dealership. Don t waste your time! My dad visited the San Leandro branch to look at a particular truck on the lot. Once there, he was able to look at the truck and schedule a test drive. Everything went well. They went inside to do paperwork, they exchanged information ran his credit score. It turned out he did not have a crucial document needed to proceed The Salesman s said bring back the papers tomorrow and we ll get you going with the truck tomorrow. We will reserve it for you. Dont worry! The following day. My dad went back to complete paperwork with the proper documents and was told the vehicle was already SOLD. The prior sales man was not present and nor did anyone know what was going on. All in all my dad was filled with false hopes. Nothing but wasted time, very unprofessional with zero communication between the office staff. General manager did not call once to follow up or apologize!

I recently brought my 2020 F-350 Superduty to San Leandro Ford for a service engine light and two recalls. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I feel compelled to share the details to help improve future customer experiences. First and foremost, the service technician assigned to my vehicle appeared to lack knowledge about the necessary repairs. Despite making an appointment, I was initially informed that the repairs would take 1 to 2 days. However, my truck ended up being in the shop for a total of 14 days. During this time, there was no offer of transportation assistance when dropping off or picking up my vehicle, even though all the repairs were covered under warranty. The most frustrating part was the repeated promises that my truck would be ready the next day, which continued for an entire week. Each time I called to check on the status, I received the same vague responses and runaround from the service tech. Additionally, despite my requests for a rental vehicle, none was provided. The lack of communication and accountability from the service department was unacceptable. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with San Leandro Ford.
We found our car online through Bank of America s search engine of dealerships that would take our pre-approved loan. Everything seemed ok at first. They asked my husband for all of his information again for the DMV etc. My husband arrived to sign paperwork and pick up the car. The person who provided the paperwork said that they add a device to locate your car if stolen and that they put it on every car for free and if you want to continue you can pay for additional years of coverage once the first 3 years expires. My husband said as long as it s no cost to us, because we don t need that . The salesperson reiterated that it was free. Fast forward to the following week. It turns out they re-ran our credit approval and acted as a third party between us and BofA and opened a different loan I m assuming to get some sort of kickback. They also charged us over $700 for the supposed free service they put on every car. We were also told how lucky we were to have 2 sets of keys for a used vehicle only to find the second set wasn t even for our car! We have had the car a month and the brakes have already triggered an indicator light. Now I know why they pushed their extended warranty so hard. An unfortunate and shady experience we could have had in Sacramento.

DON T GO HERE!!! This place is horrible. No updates or communication at all. A basic brake job took 30 days exactly. $1474 later and they never offered a loaner car. NEVER AGAIN.

I took the car around 3 maybr 4 times for a wobble and side to side movement but they cant figure why plus i asked owen if he can ask the mechanic to go on drive the car with me .the mechanic didnt want to then he try to say its has a wobble and side to side movement because the air was low. Then they try to say its the tires when not to long ago owen gave me a paper saying the tires are good. So how can they go bad so fast . Asked owen to tell another mechanic he went and brought back the same one . This time i kept telling him to drive he finally said yes but only went around the corner. Kept it for 4 days told me the same. they think it needs new tires but how can new tires solve the wobble side to side movement qnd the loose steering wheel. P.s owen told me if i can take it to a different shop to see if they can find the problem im not paying for it when i have profolio . No point in me taking it to a non ford shop and pay full when I have warranty

Kudos off the bat. Requested information from the website, asking to contact only via text or email. Thats what they did! My sale was easy no loan paperwork or trade-in to handle. They were courteous and friendly. What I appreciated as well was the assistance they were giving the young man in buying a Mustang. Walking him through the loan paperwork, working with him to purchase a new car and an affordable loan. Maybe it was the new car giddiness but it was nice to see another person leave happy as it reinforced my purchasing decision.

I am not sure if they really care about their customers because that is not how I was treated. I brought in my car for a scheduled warranty repair on 2/26, they fixed it and I picked on 2/29. (During the time, no one called me to follow up with me and telling me when it would be ready. I had to make calls daily to find out myself.) When I was driving home the freeway on the same day I picked it up, there were more than 4 warnings popped up. I was going to used my car for the weekend, but I couldn t drive it when so many warnings showed up. I scheduled another service on 3/4 to find out what s wrong. On 3/5-3/6, I called them more than 10 times and left messages during this period, but yet no one called me back to follow up the status, just like the last time. Until 3/7 after I called both services department and the consultant more than 6 times and left voice messages during the business hours, finally I got the call back from the consultant and I was told my car would be ready on 3/11. (Sounds like my car was sitting there for two days for nothing being done) Guess what? Same story again, no one calls me to follow up with me on 3/11. After I tried to call them more than 5-6 times and finally got the call back from the consultant on 3/12. And again, I was told more parts were damaged and they needed more time to fix and it would be done by 3/14. Today is 3/14, the consultant never call me to follow up with me, instead I called his desk and service department more than 5 times, just like the other days. Finally a lady at service department told me the consultant already left for the day and my car was not ready! I don t know why they are treating their customers like this? And the car is still sitting there without ETA. This is far beyond acceptable customer services.

Service department isn t good. Brought it in for service on a Monday early morning, I told them I needed it before Wednesday morning, my service guy said No problem and I went on with my day, no problems at this point. It s midday on Tuesday, getting a little worried because no one has contacted me, but I give them a chance. It s now close to closing, no one has contacted me, I ve called the service department several times and they kept telling me my service technician was busy and would return my call - again, no call. I need my car so I have my mom physically drive me down there and I have to ask for my car back. Update: 3 Stars now, my experience this time was much better. It really depends which service advisor you get. This time it was Billy, I wish all the advisors were like Billy - great communication, and gets stuff done.
