AutoNation Mobile Service in San Jose

I was very pleased with how fast and efficient Clay the technician. This was my first time using this service. I had canceled my appointment at the dealership thinking I wanted to try a more objective service. I am pleased I did and will use it again.

Called to replace battery in a very common car. First appointment the technician did not show up with no contact from Autonation Mobile. Burned a day sitting around waiting. Blamed on disconnect between website and technician team. Second attempt worked well. The technician called several times to let me know where he was. The price was a little high. $416 to replace a car battery seems high. But it was convenient.

Our technician Eugene was very professional and thorough. He completed our repairs in a timely fashion. We are very happy with the outcome.

Details of service requested were not share according to the tech. If he had not been able to assist me anyway I would have been very upset. This type of disconnect is unacceptable. I feel that Auto Nation was trying to generate additional trip to my house to complete my services.

This was the second time I’ve contacted AutoNation for service and each time has been a pleasant experience. I’ll definitely continue to have my vehicle serviced by AutoNation. Clayton was amazing.

It was an aux battery replacement, but I wasn't sure if any other issues. I spoke to a rep in detail, and he made sure that I'd get a right part with an experienced technician who knew about my car make/model. The technician didn't come within an apt. time range, so I texted him for an update with his arrival time. He responded it quick and showed up fine. The new battery had the label of the car make, repair was pretty quick, and my car was woken up fine. Thank you-

A scam diagnostic charge, but did not provide an estimate. Was told it would take 4 days to get parts. Was told after calling 3 days later that my estimate was being worked on. After 4 days was told they could not repair my car. Disputing diagnostic charge. The order read that they'd have my car running in no time. Don't charge diagnostic if it can't he repaired according to being a mobile service . Reason given, "declined repair due to all other heater hoses that could break if proceeding." Scam! No one pays for a diagnostic of $225 (which is outrageous), to not receive an estimate for repair. BBB here I come. Charges have been disputed, but should voluntarily be refunded if you decide not to give an estimate or do the repair. shoulda called AAA and took it to a real repair shop. 😏🙄😡 All this time wasted when I had a rental car for 4 days, and an now without a car. 🙄
