I appreciate the work at this O'Reilly location: 1170 Blossom Hill Rd SJ. You are greeted when you walk in and after the wrong head light was purchased for my car; it was promptly returned and the correct ones purchased. Then, employee Allan installed the headlights for me. I really appreciate their customer service. I will go back for any car needs in the future.

I had a 5 star experience with Bayron yesterday who helped me change my battery. It was difficult and yet he was very optimistic and helpful. Another gentleman who worked there also came out to help because he was familiar with my car. The employees were super helpful and I left feeling impressed and very well taken care of. Unfortunately that was not my experience today. Today I came back because a warning light came on my dashboard, which I suspected was a low coolant fluid warning. I asked the manager if she could confirm my suspicions and she said that no one could help me right now because she was the only person in the store. She said that she had a device that could read the signal code and confirm, but they would still send me to a mechanic to fix the code. She told me that they wouldn't help me fix my problem here. I told her that I didn't think it was a mechanical issue and that it probably was coolant. I just wanted to confirm with someone who knew more than I did and if I could show her the picture. It was then I realized she knew nothing about cars. I know nothing about cars and I knew more than she did. She insisted that they couldn't help me and I would have to go to a mechanic instead. So I went to my car, went on ChatGPT and got outstanding customer service from AI instead of her. ChatGPT confirmed the warning light was a signal that meant I needed more coolant. So I went inside and bought the correct coolant and put it in the car myself. Instead of spending $18 on coolant and putting it in my car, the manager tried to send me to a mechanic to do the same thing for much much more. She commented that I was smart for being able to figure it out myself. I was surprised and disappointed at how unhelpful she was and for the bad advice she gave me. It was so unlike the knowledgeable and helpful service I got the day before. Oh, and when I went to purchase the coolant, she didn't bother to get off her personal phone call when ringing up my purchase. I would rate my experience a 1, but gave it a 3 because of the great service I received the day before.

Amazing service! I came in because the check engine light on my Mazda had turned on. They checked it out promptly and diagnosed the problem with the battery. The employees were very knowledgeable, and swapped out the battery for me. The car has been working perfectly since then, and all the issues with the electricals seem to be resolved. I would recommend this store for Auto parts and diagnostics.

The management must be proud.stopped by to purchase an item.Was very please with Mr Mariano who assisted me with my inquiry.Mr Mariano was professional, knowledgeable,kind, attentive, hospitable, patient, visibly hard at work,and prompt.He even thought me couple of things.Mariano thank you for being YOU.Keep up the good work.His caulige was also busy at work delivering exceptional service.I am sure it's impossible to Please everyone....you guys achieve over and beyond.i Did not end up purchasing anything.But I left smiling,smarter,and optimistic.

4 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I want to start off by saying this wasn’t going to get such a good review but by the time I visit was over they do deserve a four-star review I came here to purchase oil and an oil filter for my 2007 jeep and I knew exactly what I wanted based on advertised prices. Well, I gathered the things I needed went to the front counter and I was told it wasn’t part of the advertised price when I took the gentleman over and showed him that it was. He told me he couldn’t do anything and that he give me five dollars off based on their guarantee… he could see I was not satisfied with that answer. He said, please let me step away for a moment, and he came back with the assistant store manager. The assistant store manager was able to match the price that was advertised, which made me grateful. I want to say thank you to Julian. The sales associate that was first helping me and I want to say thank you to David the assistant store manager. Now I can go do my oil change. 😊 Like 👍🏻 my review and let me know if it helps you when it comes to guaranteed advertising prices!!!
