Avoid. They sold me rusty broken chain snows which almost caused me to get stranded in the mountains in a snowstorm. I would expect this from a sketchy car shop, not a national chain.

The bad place to buy auto parts... I call early if they have a power steering pump for my car they said have two power steering pumps on stock... I drove to autozone to get the par and the sale person on the front desk checking on the computer and he say sorry we don't have the power steering pumps on stock... I tell he i was call early for this par and you tell me now is out of the stock? ... you guys Autozone are 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Stopped by for a brake light switch. Had already looked it up on the app and just needed to pick it up. Very untrained staff. Several people working the counter, but the manager had to keep running over to them to help them find things on the computer, AND he's trying to take of customers too. I don't know what it is, but not a single employee could seem to help customers by themselves. Had to wait 20+ minutes in line to pick up my simple part. When I left the line went all the way from the cashiers to the door! (12-15 ppl deep). Will not be coming back, don't have that much time to waste when I know what I need already.
Just want to take a moment to thank a team member at this Auto Zone. A few weeks ago Marvin helped me out with a fix finder test and I also had a question on why one of my dashboard lights kept popping up even though there was no issue and shouldn’t be popping up. I got a little confused and asked him if he could write down these directions he was explaining for me (my memory is not the best) he gladly did in detail, with a smile on his face. Great customer service. Definitely went above and beyond to help me out. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.
Spent an hour trying to return brand new unopened rotors while the system kept showing that the return has already been processed. They didn’t realize it’s because the return is processed only halfway and aborted by another store just before I came here. The thing I need to criticize is that, in this situation, when the business cannot satisfy the customer, they should try to make up for it. Instead, their clerk Mike, cleverly opted for criticizing the customer before he had any full grasp about the situation, while his coworker who actually spend the time helping me comprehended the problem. Rather than thinking of additional measures to solve the issue, Mike started to blame me for not being able to prove that the rotor is actually not returned before, even though I have the rotors placed before him right in front of his eyes. Apart from being how stupid and hilarious it is, he chose the wrong side using the wrong manner. He is defending a wrong side using rude manner toward a loyal customer who had spent a thousand dollars I the past two months at AutoZone. I didn’t even get a final apology after his manager identified the real cause and solved the problem in the end. Why does AutoZone still keep this employee who is pretty good at breaking the trust with customers?

We originally came in to find a specific part for our vehicle and the employee couldnt find it and had trouble. So we left and decided to come back and Mike Bui helped us figure out the problems we had but with such a great attitude. Thanks Mike!

Marcos deserves a raise!! Walking in, I had no idea what I was really looking for. My AC wasnt producing cold air and I went in thinking I needed anti freeze so thats all I was going in for. While looking for it, Marcos offered his help and even helped me realize that I needed gas for one of the filters. He called one of his mechanic friends to help us out and install more gas for the AC. I was extremely grateful and very happy with him going above and beyond for us. Thank you Marcos :)

Went to get a check engine light diagnosed. Although they diagnosed it, the print out was black and hard to read and the employee sold us a product that was supposed to fix the problem, the abs light, along with the check engine light. It didnt. I dont know how an abs sensor would be connected to oxygen sensor?

Amazing customer service! Really appreciate the time, effort, and care Marvin took in replacing my car battery. AAA had to jumpstart my battery and they said, The battery is not good. Take it to Auto zone and they will replace it. I took it straight to Auto zone in Alum Rock, San Jose. Really appreciate Marvins help in measuring the car battery, taking the time to find different options, fitting with the best one, doing a thorough job in replacing it, and sending me on my way in no time and giving me the peace of mind that I dont have to worry about my battery during this cold season!
This is my first time seeing and visiting this Autozone. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the building. The employee helping us was awesome he opened the box and showed us the part, and checked to make sure it was the correct item.

Never answers the phone and when they did they told me they had the part in-stock. I drove 20mins to be told that they dont carry the part they said they had over the phone. Dont bother calling, youll get hung up on or left on hold then hung up on too.

Deteriorate customer service, always out of stock very disappointed
Worst experience. Tried calling to ensure part was in stock, nobody ever picked up the phone. Arrived at the store 15 min later 5 employees all standing around listening to music trying to decide what song was next. Gave the first guy my part number he came back 5 mins later no part, another guy had to go get the part. All while another was saying if we dont have it, we dont have it. Hopefully I never have to return to this location.

I give it 4 stars just because I love auto parts stores in general. The line was pretty long and usually is, but at the same time it seems like AutoZone employees are always super cool. They seem to be helpful and personable, although oddly enough Ive discovered that none of them seem to know much about cars at all. Im a tall blonde chick and its usually me thats telling them whats up but aint nothing wrong with that

My store when it come to part for my car and aways great service.
Placed an order online and 7 days later, no ready to pickup email. Called them and I was told it would be ready tomorrow. Went in on Day 8, was told again it would be ready tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, and I called again on Day 10, it was not ready. I was told that Curtner store has it, but I must call them to confirm. I asked them if Curtner has it, do I need to pay again for it over there. The guy said let me see what we can do, then its another 15 minutes of hold. Now I was told I have to go to their store. Not sure why, if Alum Rock store doesnt seem to have it. You got to have some serious time at hand to deal with these guys. Going into their store isnt any better. A short line could mean a long wait. With the Delta variant coronavirus raging and many customer not wearing a mask, you better have nine lives to spare too.

Used to love this place... Until the pathetic excuse for a Night Manager Tony Nguyen changed my entire outlook on this place. He showed me that they could care less about their customers. Rude, arrogant, smart mouthed, dropout needs some training on customer service. As does most of the guys that work there. If I didnt live so close and need the parts... I would never step foot in this location again. Unless maybe to see him after work someday... Now thats a thought... See you soon buddy.

There is a problem with your parking lot for a long time. Today I went the store and the parking lot is full and inside the store there are only 3 customers. its parking lot there are 8 junk cars, some without tires or engine.

Positive experience so far. Had to wait in line a bit longer than expected but overall positive. Nothing negative so far. Parking is a little cramp cause they share it with another business. Will keep in my watch list and see what happens on my next visit
