I assume you're reading these reviews to determine whether those places can do a great job on body work. Let me tell you not to look any further because you found the right place!! I own a 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH and I was devastated when I found out the tow truck company that was responsible for transporting my car to another shop damaged my driver's side fender while under their care. It had such a deep scratch and the tow truck company told me it would be better to just replace it but parts for my car are extremely rare to find and all my body panels are the original parts and I didn't want a replacement. A co-worker of mine recommended me this place and as soon as it got delivered to this shop they spent weeks trying to find another fender (which didn't surprise me) and finally just decided to repair the original fender which was exactly what I wanted. I even asked them to repair the front bumper and restore the headlights since they were already damaged and faded from the previous owner of my car. A week later, I was filled with excitement and happiness when I saw my car's fender not only repaired, but the bumper and the headlight were also repaired/restored and looked brand new. I even got new door seals straight from the Honda dealership. On top of that, they had a mobile detailing van clean my car inside and out, which was just the cherry on top. Hector even came to the shop on his day off for a brief moment on the weekend to open the shop so I can pay for my portion of the repairs and take my car home that same day which was SUPER nice and chill of him to do! So please, take my word when I say these guys really don't mess around and do an amazing job at what they do and everyone there is very professional. I was afraid of other people working on my car because of how rare it is and felt like I couldn't trust anyone. I gave this place a chance, and I do not regret it one bit. You should definitely give this place a chance too. These guys make it right and really make you feel like you're important to them. You will definitely not be disappointed with the experience and your results!!

Car Tech has done at least 4 cars for me with 2 more on the way. They are hands down the best work I’ve seen and I’ve been around shops for 35yrs. They do super clean work and turn them out very fast. They’re for sure my go to shop!

My car had an auto body issue while we were away from our home location and were visiting Salinas. We were on a tight timeline and had a flight to catch. Hector was thoroughly professional and ensured he would make it happen within a week provided all the parts made it in time. Hector was very professional, communicative, and reassuring through the whole process. Hector and his staff went out of their way to keep things on schedule and get the necessary parts on time. They also offered to drop and pick me up from my location which was a great personal touch! We were down to the last few hours of Friday and Hector and the staff worked over lunch to make it happen in time and my car was perfect and was detailed in time! Even offered an update next time I was in town. Massive kudos to the entire staff at Auto tech collision. They really turned a stressful situation into delight and customer happiness! For anyone who needs glass or bodywork for their car, this is the place to go! Hector and his team are very professional and most importantly very affordable. I had a nice seamless experience here. They did a great job and for a great price! I needed my windshield replaced. I called in the afternoon and Hector got me in first thing the next morning. I was able to wait around as they did the work efficiently and quickly, but they did offer to drop me somewhere if needed. Hector handled the whole process very professionally. He was friendly, polite, and courteous and seemed honest as far as I could tell. I didn't feel like he was trying to rip me off (being a female by myself) and in fact I feel he gave me an exceptional price and discount. They speak Spanish and English and all communications were very clear. Also, the office is very clean and nice, so I was quite comfortable while waiting there. Poor body work. Vehicle was held up for a month when I was told it would only take a 2 to 3 weeks at the most. Problem after problems after vehicle was returned, even after 5 years. To list a few: they Completely botched my car to the point that it didn t start anymore, so they had to tow it to the dealer ship to get it reprogrammed and start up. Shop master said the guys at this shop didn t know what they were doing and that they botched my car. My car was returned with Misalignment hood, fender and pins missing from fender, which caused my vehicle to whistle. One of my fan was unplugged. Driver side Sun visor was replaced, but kept breaking off at first use because they kept breaking the plastic inside each time they replaced it.

I brought my car, which had been damaged due to a rear-ended collision, to Car Tech Auto Collision for a repair estimate. The bumper was so severely crushed and broken that the trunk can t be closed completely. The muffler was out of place and so low to the ground. Hector examined the car and told me that he had a good news and a bad news for me and what I wanted to hear first. I said let s hear the good news first. He told me the good news was that the muffler was not damaged and they would be able to put it back in place. The bad news was that the floor of my car was badly crushed. I mentioned to Hector that it s an old car and I don t need a new floor if it can be fixed. He said that he would try. I guessed that as most people, I depended on my car and it d be hard for having it at a shop for too long. Hector was very understanding and said if I put a deposit down for the bumper part, they could order the part and have it ready when I brought my car in so that I could cut down the time my car was in the shop. I was very glad that Hector offered me this option. My car was fixed in four days, and they did an outstanding job on the repair. The paint color on the bumper matched perfectly with the body. The trunk closed perfectly. The bumper was put in place. To add a very nice touch, they washed and cleaned my car inside and out (I didn t expect this). The tires were cleaned and shiny. I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend Car Tech Auto Collision in Salinas. It s a family-owned business . Hector, the manager, is very friendly yet very professional. I m a Salinas resident and I m glad that I brought my car there instead of a big corporation shop.

Fast service to get you back on the Road
I am so very happy with the workmanship and glad I found Hector and his crew! About 4 years ago I was in a windstorm and opened my driver side door when the extreme wind flew the door open and bent the hinges. I had been looking to have this fixed but only got responses like I need to take the door off and charge $100+ per hour and dont know how long it will take. In the meantime I taped the door close because the wind noise was unbearable and made the whole door vibrate. Hector had one look, gave me a reasonable price range. I just drove for miles on the highway and the wind noise is gone. Its like I have a new van!!! I also had the propane tank painted, see pictures they speak for themselves. Very thorough job! The third thing they did for me was to take the ugly broken plastic bumper off to reveal a beautiful chrome bumper underneath it (they did not install it, it was already there) Having a 19 years old camper van, I know I will be back! My 2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo needed some attention. At 10 years old, some shine was lost, the headlights were hazy, the wheels had road rash and a few dings and scrapes that needed to be repaired. The shop was not the nearest to where I lived, but I chose to take my car there after reading the positive reviews online. I am really glad I did. By the time they were done with it, the car looked exactly like the day it left the showroom floor. It looked brand new. The attention to detail and skill of their technicians was incredible. The staff members I came in contact with were very kind and professional. Hector (the owner) initially inspected my car, answered my questions, and gave me a fair estimate in writing. He was attentive and really listened to my requests as to what I needed done. I would highly recommend these guys and will definitely be going back when any of my cars need detailing or body work. I give this company five stars.

I had an accident with a tire. My whole front bumper was messed up & parts inside around the engine were shattered. These guys left my car like new fresh off the lot. Even thought they had painted the whole car of how incredibly looking they had left it. Real professionals. I ll recommend this body shop to all my broadcasting business partners.
This place is phenomenal. I bought my car used and they got stains out that the dealership had left. I got a level 3 detailing and legitimately have a brand new car. Beyond that, they didnt realize my car seat had air bags making them more difficult to remove so instead of charging me more, they removed them to clean the carpet anyhow. Truly a great buisness which did a great job!

Car Tech Auto Collision is the best! Hector does an amazing job I am a repeat customer and he always take care of me. We took in a 2015 Toyota Pruis C with a tri color paint and wanted the front bumper repainted and it came out perfectly. We just picked up our 2018 BMW X3 M40i in Silver also repainted the front bumper again it looks amazing. If you guys need any auto paint go see Hector. Full warranty so no need to worry.
One of the Best shops around, service for me was fast and excellent, and so was the customer service, I waited 6 months to post my review so be able to see how the repair would hold up and it still looks like nothing ever happened to the car, prices were among the best around and I left very satisfied. AWESOME JOB! My sister took in her car to get her bumper replaced and loved their work. She recommended that I go in to get a small paint job on the side of my car. I did and I LOVED IT! Hector was very nice and emailed me updates on my car. I was very impressed with his paint job! My dad even liked his work, that now he will be bring his car in too! Great experience!

A very bad experience, I would not recommend it, they charged me too much money, they left my car full of details, one part was coming off and they told me that if I did not remove the comment from the website, they would not repair it.

I have a classic truck that I am restoring. I asked if I could bring in just the truck cab and have them paint only the inside using my custom colors. They seem excited to be working on it. Everyone in the shop seems happy and excited to be at work. I can be a chatty Cathy when it comes to cars. They always take time to talk to me, answer my questions, work through ideas. I dont have the finished product yet and I will update this review after the work is complete but so far, my experience with Car Tech has been fun and exciting. Thanks, guys. Cant wait until it is done.
Ive used this company to repaint several of my cars to include repairing and repainting work done by another notable body shop. They were able to color match and paint the vehicles so that you would never know it was damaged. I also recently had them do modifications to my Jeep that required cutting the body. Not only did they do a great job, they ensured the end product looked as if came from the factory that way to include the modifications under the hood.
Definitely the best body shop in the Monterey county. My truck was involved in a huge wreck and after Hector and his crew were done with the repairs it looked just as new as it did when I drove it off the lot. Would have never noticed a difference after the repairs! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

My wifes car got broken into last week and her purse stone. The front passenger side window was shattered. I called for a few hours trying to find a shop that our cars window and that could repair it the same day since I could not have my wife drive a windowless car. It might invite more vandalism. I finally found Car Tech. They told me they would check and call back. 15 minute passed by and they called back and let me know they had my window. I them let them know that my wife would need to pick up my daughter at 2:00 and they said no problem. Mind you I called at about 11:00. They said just have her come in at 12 and we will take care of the problem. They sure did. My wife arrived at 12:15 they took apart out car, installed the window, processed my insurance and got my wife out the door at 2 as they promised. Wow! A big thanks to them for helping us get through a bad day. Felt much much better after my wife drove our car all patched up. i highly recommend this shop! Great job! :-)
Honestly, this is the worst shop i could have got a recommendation to! When j showed up the first time to pick up my car, everything they said would be fixed was not ! Obviously i didnt take my car home that day. The second time i went to pick it up, the paint job was done terribly wrong! It was really bumpy! A couple days later, my bumper started to fall apart again, same spot where they had repaired it! This place is a joke guys! If i could go back in time, i would of chosen a shop that means quality .. and truely goes by it!
Lol i obviously changed my name for perpnal reasons. I was in fact a customer at your shop and paint job was done terribly wrong. Its only been around 4 months and the paint is bubbling already lol you all are a joke! And my bumber you guys glued back together instead of replacing like you had originally said has already fallen apart. $$$$ down the drain.
They are doing very well job on my car, My car got collision and the whole back bump got crashed, they changed new bump and paint it, they are doing good job on paint, the color looks really good.
