Quality Tune-Up in Sacramento

I go here for oil change when I dont have time to do my own because the convince and efficiency is great, and the fee is reasonable. I feel like they are reliable and wont pull a fast one on me either, they'll come out with my air filter and say "that's looking good I'll replace it if you'd like but you're probably fine til next change". Also when I've needed quotes for anything else they had the information for me quickly and professionally. All in all, go here if you need something done that you can't do yourself or don't have time to do yourself. They'll do a good job for a reasonable rate.

Either they're incompetent, or they're liars. I was told that my vehicle had internal transmission damage and I would need to have it replaced and maybe I should just sell the vehicle. They quoted me five to six hundred less than the actual going rate for the clutch replacement I asked them to do, then after doing an additional repair related to the clutch replacement (which was actually needed) before starting on the clutch replacement, I was told my transmission was bad and they wouldn't replace my clutch because that would be pointless. I didn't believe them. Neither did a trusted mechanic I know. I took my vehicle to another shop. They replaced my clutch. They did a great job. They told me there was nothing wrong with my transmission other than it needed the clutch replaced. It drives and shifts beautifully now, just like brand new. Quality Tune Up, in my opinion, lied to me to make me go away because they knew they under-bid the job, or they lied to me because they thought I was a sucker who they could soak for a transmission replacement or rebuild. Either way, it's shady and insulting. I've found a better shop with an honest owner. Quality Tune Up could have been honest and told me that after they looked into it a bit, or checked All Data, they couldn't do it for the price they quoted me earlier, but instead, they lied. Either that or they don't know what they're doing.

I had good and bad both kind of experience with this auto repair outlet. This was my 1st and last visit with them, never going back to this auto repair shop. I bought a new Van Ford 250 which was having multiple electric issues. A month ago, my van's air conditioner stopped working, which landed me at quality tune-up shop. The manager told me to diagnose it and explain the causes and repair implications. He said minor repairs and fuses are covered with the diagnosis. They fixed and replaced blown fuses of AC, and USB & i paid the full amount as agreed. Thanks for that, but gave me the vehicle with the driver window motor not working, whereas it was working perfectly when i cam in and the manager told me that the switch got bad and now it's not working and I have to replace the switch. Very interesting, they fixed one thing and defaulted the other one and gave you the vehicle in almost the same condition. Ok, as the manager advised I right away went to the ford wreckage at Rancho Cordova and bought a switch and replaced it and it did not work. The switch was not faulty but the quality 1st team either failed to diagnose the reason or lied to me and hid the actual reason for the electrical system fault which they were unable to diagnose & fix. I drove my car for at least one month with the closed window and today I fixed it by myself by just putting a 5amp fuse in place which they failed to install. Simply, quality tune-up team did not pay attention to placing the fuse back while they were working on my vehicle. Very unprofessional and irresponsible behavior. Never going back to this place.

Went here as a last minute for an oil change and was happy I did. They stand by their name, Quality. Staff was knowledgeable and mechanics were thorough.

My first time experience with these ppl an I feel I got scammed! Who like to feel like they have been had? I used a coupon and got coupon service. I really feel as a woman I got scammed! I will not be returning or recommending them to no one! Instead of quality service...y'all Money hungry. Just know karma is real.

Brought my nieces car in to get it checked out. We just bought her this car and had no idea what condition it was in. Quality really did a quality job going over everything and showed me all the damaged or worn out parts before replacing them. Very honest and trustworthy place which is rare to find now a days. Thank you quality!

I recommend this place to all my family and friends they had great hospitality and my story is I had my cousin come all the way down from Dyersburg Tennessee and his AC unit went out they replaced it in 1 day and gave him a lifetime warranty it only took a day and a half to repair the service was good and my cousin had no complaints about the work that was done to his 2017 GMC.
