When know one else could diagnose, James went to bat and hit a home run. This was after 2 weeks ago, I was recommended to MOTIVE CAR CARE, because a previous smog shop did not have the skill set to smog an older vehicle. He placed a compression tool on the truck drove it in his lot and told me the valve only open when being driven. The other shop had no clue. Passed with flying color. My recent call referred a friend. Who didn't pass but was told what needed repair. He said he will have MOTIVE CAR CARE do the repair if he could not.

I have an old truck a 1992 S10 and unlike the other review of a 91 Ford James took great care of me. He fixed the issue I had with my truck and I was glad to pay him for the time and effort he spent on my old beater. Thank you motive car care for always taking care of my family and my vehicles.

SMOG: NO PASS = PAY. There are “no pass, no pay stations” and this is not one of them. They even stated if I came back to smog later, they would still charge me. Some smog shops offer a deal like, if you fail (but still pay) you can come back and test free after. Please do your research.

$500 for a windshield wiper motor are you kidding?! It's a $50 part and you going to charge me $450 to change a windshield wiper motor?! Does that seem reasonable to you?

Best place to bring you family vehicles to keep them safe and running properly. Trust worthy mechanics. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Always do a great job. Tell them Rich told you about them. I've been coming since 2007

Over the years this has become my go to shop. I have an old converted mini school bus. No one wants to work on it but for getting it smogged and doing small work on the bus this shop has been great. They are friendly, help answer questions and give you options so you can choose what you want to do. I’ll continue to take my cars here and get their help.
