Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable, extremely helpful. Everyone there was amazing, a friend of mine had bought a battery about a year ago and it went bad so we went there and they offered to recharge it for free. When that didn't work then they replaced the battery free of charge. No questions asked. Gave us a brand new battery. Didn't charge us a dime way to go O'Reilly Auto parts.
The Hayward location on Jackson takes forever. Be sure and set aside extra time if you have to go here.

Worst place to order parts from if you own your own automotive business. Parts may arrive broken and the O'reilly commercial parts department at this location may not take immediate action to rectify the solution leaving the customer stuck at the shop.
Needed to get a windshield wiper and this one was the closest. Should’ve just gone to another store. Terrible experience all around. Long lines. Extremely lazy service. They all seem to just do whatever is convenient for them and not the customers. Their items are also always dirty or opened.
This place is a joke the staff are rude I brought my warranted starter in and the guy had the nerve to tell me I didn't purchase this starter from oRiley's even though my account shows I purchased the same starter from the store in Hayward I was broke down and this jerk refused to honor the warranty I have never been treated this way bY oRiley's I WILL BE TAKING MY FUTURE BUSINESS TO AUTOZONE HOPEFULLY THEY WILL GIVE ME RESPECT DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE BAD BAD STAFF TY
O'Reilly's, please teach your sales people some skills. Needed a part and found it on your site and it said there was one in stock in San Carlos. Went there and apparently it was not really in stock. So they called the store in Redwood City and asked if they had one. After a few minutes, the person at Redwood City came back and said they had the part and it would be waiting at the counter. I get to Redwood City and tell one of the counter people the part I need and that someone already pulled it and it should be around the counter. He looks and doesn't find it, checks the stocked location and does not find it. Tells me they don't have it. I ask to see the manager and he says the manager is not in. I ask if he could check with others to see who talked with the other store and he says that he can't. I will no longer be using O'Reilly for any more parts. To many options to be jacked with for a simple part.
O’reilly, please please get a self checkout option….. 1 employee at the counter, obviously people need help getting the right part and that takes time and expertise, but simply checking out needs to be an easier process. This happens to me at this location all the time. Please note, the employees at this store are very helpful, patient, kind and knowledgeable. This is an ownership/management issue.

One time business with this repair store. Charged you high and mess your stuff in the car, therefore, they deserved to be 1 star...Their labor fee is three times higher than the part price while their professionalism is three times worse than they should be.
Wonderful customer service. My windshield wiper flew off on the highway, and I was able to rush here to get one. They made sure it was installed correctly. Wonder service! So grateful!

Brakes went out, of course, unexpectedly, and had Wheel Works replace leaking brake hose. Fast, courteous, mechanic showed me where leak was and I so appreciate him taking the time to do that. it doesnt happen often.
Was sold what I asked for but it was wrong part. Only did I discovered this in parking lot with help of a friendly man who saw me looking under engine hood. Thank you stranger. Still nice folks out there. Got to back to order right part. Ugh.
This place has never let me down. When other stores have closed or not had what I have needed I have gone here and been properly taken care of. No one batted an eye when I replaced a brake light in the parking lot either. A little seedy, but functional and reliable.

A nice enough store with a nice selection of wash and wax products I was looking for. Although not a huge store, they did make the most of their space.
Everything I needed was there and customer service is perfect.
This is a well-stocked chain auto parts store. I went there for engine oil and was able to find what I needed. It should be noted that several auto parts stores I have visited in the last several months had partially empty shelves for engine oils. This is a busy store and the employees are helpful and knowledgeable.

I got a part and it was wrong went back told me to hold on to the part and order the one I needed and was told it would be in on the 10th of that month and they would return at the time the part and paid the difference for the new part I went on the 12th giving them time not there time passes is now 2weeks called to be told it was returned on the 9th no call it was in horrible customer service returned item and went somewhere else

I know better... always check for the gasket(s) in a transmission tune up kit BEFORE you leave the store! I thought for a minute to knock it down to 3 stars but no 1 star it is... the guy at the counter should have checked for me, right? Now ive got to go back and hope this kit isnt the last kit they had in stock. ...should have gone to NAPA!

OReilly is wack. I drove all the way because its open till 10pm. I get there and there 5 angry customers locked out at 930pm. Employees left early appearently.
This store at Woodside rd and el Camino, is average. They suffer from no fault of their own little tools inventory, altho they have adequate inventory of cheap throw away items. Seem to have averagely knowledgeable employees altho you have to willing to ask for some else if you get someone who cannot answer your question.

Worthless staff..... no concept of customer service.... no idea how to serve customers efficiently. Had ONE long line of customers... some needed only to pay for one or two items. Others needed expensive time-consuming help. Only buying one bottle of car wash solution.? Too bad.... youll just have to wait behind the guy who needs help finding three obscure parts and also get battery tested.......seriously?? . Only 3 employees helping behind the counter. 12 customers in line. LONG wait. I needed my battery tested....20 minutes in line...30 minutes for the test. I was then told it was bad and needed to be replaced. I took it to another auto parts store..... tested/ charged and holds charge just fine and should last another year or two. OReillys..... NOT GOOD

As a Customer I think Tony is NOT a good asset for OReilly company since he doesnt know how to treat customers, I order a part for my wifes sister and I found out that competion had it cheaper, I asked Tony if he could do a Match Price and he said that I should go to competion which was AutoZone, instead of helping me and keep me as his customer. As a businesses Owner and base on my experience If I said that to my customer, they will never comeback, being said that, I cancel my part and went to the competion since he doesnt care about customers!
These guys never answer the phone when I call. Ones I was in line there at the Redwood City store and called just to see what happens. They all ignored it and the store manager name starts with a P! just walked away to the back. There was workers walking around everywhere And no one got on the reg to help and the line just got longer I think the store needs new management. Also pick up the phone!!!!
Very bad experience with a very arrogant fat guy, he almost yelled in your face... There is no real customer service. If you ask him a question, he answers you in a way that is not correct, he almost yells at you. I come to buy, not all of us who come to that store are mechanics, or know about cars. I will never go back to that store again in my life.

This is a generic OReillys. Getting parts can be a pain though. I have been told by the employees before to go to San Jose, because the one there had the parts I needed, but they wouldnt order it from them. Not sure why this is, because they will order from other locations. Otherwise its good for generic stuff.

The wheel works mechanics will grossly over charge you! They told me it d be over 2500 to fix my alternator and padding only on the front brakes then they got mad when I said I didn t want the work done and became very rude and short! I went to another shop that only charged 750 !!!!!

I was extremely disappointed when I tried to grab a quick light bulb... I spent 15 minutes waiting for the only two employees in the store to finish chit chatting with other clients... Meanwhile the line behind me stacked up.
I came to the store with a tire problem and they solved it very easily. The prices are reasonable and the service is very good.
I do not recommend this shop. Staff member (called Francesco i believe) has bad attitude and do not want to proceed to the return even though i have the receipts, saying i need to provide a phone number!
