Big O Tires in Pinole

Big O tires provides good work but are lacking in the Tire rotation aspect when asked to do it. especially when the tires were purchased at the Pinole store, Second time I had to go back inside and tell them my tires did not get rotated on two separate occasions. Please mark your tires prior to dropping off your vehicle.

I was extremely disappointed with my last visit to Big O Tires. Which will be my final time trusting them to repair my vehicle. I have spent thousands of dollars at BigO in Pinole over the years. They recently repaired my drive belt, but in the processe stripped one of the screws that removes my vtech. I had to take my car to another repair shop because I was told they could not replace the vtech leak. The new shop had to cut the belt off in order to remove the vtech, because Big O's mechanic stripped the screw. I had to pay twice and some to get the part fixed correctly. The new mechanic wrote a bill to Big O because he said, they should be responsible for the extra money it cost me, because it was their fault. Big O refused to pay the entire bill and I had to eat the cost of close to $300.00 for their error. I have been a loyal customer who has paid thousands in their shop, you'd think the would have some appreciation and hold themselves accountable for their mistakes, but unfortunately that was not the case. I will be taking my car elsewhere from now on. Truly disappointed!

Scheduled an appointment over the phone to get 4 new tires, paid a down payment, and never got a confirmation email or time to take my car in. I had to call them the next day just to get a vague time frame for when I would be able to bring it in. About an hour after I dropped it off, they called me and told me my radiator was cracked and leaking coolant. I found that quite strange since I had just taken it in to my mechanic the day before. They said they could fix it for I believe $600, but I declined. I picked up my car after the tires were installed. They charged me for a 3 year protection plan I didn’t agree to, and also didn’t bother to spell my name correctly (there’s no P in my name). Today, I had a mechanic look at the radiator and nothing. No cracks, no coolant leaking. 1 star for actually putting my tires on. -4 making me do the scheduling work, lying to me over the phone trying cheat me out $600, not asking before charging me for a protection plan, and getting my name wrong.

Woke up ready to drive to lake Tahoe and to my surprise there was a FAT nail in my back tire. Last minute without an appointment we rushed to Big O Tires only to realize i lost my wheel lock for my Honda CRV. I thought I was going to have to cancel my trip but they quickly found one that unlocked my wheel and we're able to replace it. They are fast, honest, helpful, and kind. They have a little kids table in their waiting area too which is great.

I've always gone to Big O Tires for my tire needs. This was my first time going to this location in Pinole, but it won't be my last. It's in an area where I shop often, plus close to home. The lady who assisted us at the register looked very busy, but she still acknowledged that I was there by speaking and helping assist me with the prices of what I needed to have done. She was very pleasant and helpful.

They got the job done, but it took them a while longer than they said it would. The guy at the front desk, Anthony, was great. It appeared that the problem was some mismanagement of the mechanics. When Anthony discovered that my car was just sitting there half completed, he went out and put in on the alignment rack to move it along. I appreciated his attentiveness and good customer service.

Called an hour before they closed to get a tire patched. They said they couldn't take me but if I brought it in at 8 am the next day they should get me "in and out". Arrived at 8 am next day told it would take an hour. Went down the street to Cortez Tire and they knocked it out in 15 minutes...
