Shop is definitely recommended, I got my 2011 camry 6 speed manual fixed recently. They could have easily told me I needed a whole rebuild, but they were honest and pointed out the exact problem. Not to mention punctuality, integrity, great customer service, which is rare now, and pickup/delivery.
