Big O Tires in Mountain View

To start, this place leaves a prominent “WE ARE OPEN” sign outside 24/7 even when they’re closed. I went here one time after work seeing the very clear “open” sign and the person working there started to yell at me that I “can’t park there” and that they were closed. I pointed to the “we are open” sign and said I thought they were open, and the guy continued to give me a hard time. This sign continues to stay prominently displayed out front day and night 24/7. Regarding the actual business, they say that they’ll price match but when I brought in quotes from Walmart and Amazon they refused, and then started to fear monger me about “what if you get a flat those places won’t be able to help you, we’re the only ones who can help you. When I pointed out that I can plug the tires myself, they started trying to argue with me that “plugging doesn’t work” and that my tire (that I’ve been driving on for over 5000 miles with a plug) wasn’t done correctly. This place seems to want to confuse and then argue with potential customers. I’ll get my tires somewhere else.

Over charged and instead of receiving money, I went with an alignment. I arrived around 9am, was next in the bay and have been here 3+ hrs. I won't ever go to another Big O again. Update: Don't be fooled by the "owner" response. Nothing was done.

Drove by with a flat tire, ten minutes after they closed. The bros gracefully agreed to help me repair that tire. And it turned out that they were willing to repair it for free. I can’t be more grateful. I said, you could have said we were close. The bro said “how would make it back home then?” They were so nice, and so generous. They are willing to help, which is how people should run businesses. I am moved.

This place is run so well. Emanuel's attention to detail and customer service is impeccable, and all the employees seem to be on their game. Well done! I am a customer for life! (Although, I hope I don't have to come by very often!) Thanks again for your help.

Emanuel’s customer service was excellent. He’s knowledgeable and kind, and we didn’t feel pressured to make hasty or unnecessary decisions. We were able to get our tires changed much faster than other places we looked at, and they were considerate of our time. Great experience with this shop! Highly recommend! David was great. He was able to get the tires I wanted in stock in less than 24 hours. Jose did put new shoes on Titan (the car), did a battery check, and alignment, and loaded up my ROFs since they were still in good shape. Thank you guys!
