One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The store clerk was extremely resistant to helping me and did not give me clear answers.
I needed replacement wiper blades for my 30-yr-old Camry. The Bosch replacements cost less than I expected and they installed them for me. The whole process took 5 min. Very satisfied.
No customers in the store besides us. Employee just sitting behind the counter on his phone, could not be bothered to help us when asked for assistance because "I'm the only one in the front right now" Funny enough some other employees dropped stuff and tried staying quite in the back. It was 4 and we were told to wait until 5 for there to be someone to help, yeah right! 😂 Some of the most laziest people I've seen
Even a single star is too generous. Upon entering, I immediately notice two children play-fighting behind the counter, presumably employees. It's particularly concerning as it's a girl hitting a boy; imagine the outcry if genders were reversed. Moving on, when I finally get assistance, I'm greeted by another youngster who doesn't bother removing what he's chewing before speaking. It's difficult to understand him with something in his mouth. After stating my needs and receiving a barely coherent response due to his mouthful, I ask if he can assist with installing lights on my car. Surprisingly, he agrees, but once we pop the hood, it's evident he lacks the necessary skills, resorting to excuses. Frustrated, I inform him it's not difficult and just requires tools, to which he claims they don't have any. Absurd, considering they advertise a loaner program for tools. Management urgently needs to address the lack of competent staff at this store. The employee, Bogart, assuming that's his real name, couldn't provide any better assistance when asked.
They have parts -- Update 2024: still have parts Note: be careful of Jim Davis Auto down the street -- they have a ton of 5-star by a ton of 1 review accounts. Davis is a cheap repair hack waiting to close, just look at the shop condition. My truck left with sabotage tricks added that wouldve returned on a delay if I hadnt found them.

Can never recycle oil, i come every day of every week and its always the same thing. Oil is full or they don t know when their bin is getting picked up.
The most useless and unpleasant salesmans
How is it possible that such a big corporate company, does not have change for their customers. I spend thousands in products with you guys and today i went in to buy a few ítems maybe totaling 60 bucks, i tried paying with a 100 dollar bill and was told by rafael the assistant mánager to go next door to 7 eleven to get change before purchasing anything. There is no sign there is no policy, stating that no large bills are accepted. I walked out and took my bussines elsewere. Its ridiculous that your employees wont take the time to go get change from the back . Worst customer service. No consideration for the customers time

Eli was awesome !! I went to the Oreillys down the road showed up 17 minutes before they closed and the door was locked and the guy inside said they were closed already while he was cleaning. Then in a hurry, I called the next Oreillys down the road from the Location on El Camino. Real and the location here on California street. Eli answered the phone and told me. It was okay to come in at the last minute. He was nice and professional. I appreciate him and hope the owner sees the review. PS. Very bad service, I took my battery so they would charge it, they received it reluctantly and when I returned they gave it to me and they had not charged it, I returned for some cables and they did not work either and they were all ordinary
Showed up 20 min before closing doors locked open sign was off. Called to let them know I was out side the door and i just needed a blinker light . He well I dont know what to tell you man Im closed . I responded you guys dont close for another 20min . He said Im the only one here and I gotta get stuff done so I dont know what to tell you.. I thought one of the things you have to do around there was your job , sell parts , make the company money during business hours . I drove 20 min to get there. Didnt realize changing the trash bags from under the counter was more important then customer service or doing what they really hired you to do . Seals the deal for me Auto zone from here on out they always have what I need or can in a day or 2 tops . And there customer service has always been better .

Horrible customer service and unwilling to help. I arrived at 730am and the guy said he couldnt get to me until after 1pm because they are short on help. I was stuck with a dead battery for over 45 minutes in front of the store and he only helped 2 people. No wonder nobody wants to work here with him.

Ive come here twice over the last 3 years, both times looking for replacement windshield wipers for my 2016 Toyota Prius, which is a very common car, especially in this area. They didnt have it either time. They also couldnt tell me whether any of the other nearby locations did have them in stock. Theres no point of going to a local auto parts store if they dont have common parts. Prices arent cheap either. Save yourself the time and just use amazon

I needed some wheel locks for my car; I didnt know anything about different types of wheel locks which you could select--and they took the time to even speak to my knowledgable brother , who telephoned them from Connecticut, to secure the correct type. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Been to a lot of automotive shops but there were 4 employees on the floor and not one asked me if i needed help (the only customer in the store) When i finally walked up to someone they looked at me like i was crazy and asked if i needed help. Cannot speak more highly of our time at this OReilly Auto Parts. We went in to get our headlights replaced and were helped by Laz. He was so helpful! As someone who knows nothing about cars, I often fear going in for car-related assistance because I just leave with a huge bill, but Laz explained things, clarified things, and didnt try to sell us everything under the sun. As usual, this particular auto parts store had what I needed for some minor vehicle repairs and servicing. All the employees are helpful and friendly, but one, in particular, has outstanding customer service skills. I regret that I didnt get his name. The parking is easy, the store is fully stocked and the area is safe. I prefer to buy auto parts at this store as the employees are consistently helpful and knowledgeable.

My girlfriend s car battery died, so I called ahead to see if they sold and installed new car batteries. They said they did. We got the car jumped, drove over and they told us they don t install car batteries.
They were friendly and helpful probably I was the only customer at noon time on 21 Aug 2020.

I went to this place. Really bad. The guy told me the batterry car is good and he told me it was anothers things. And i spend like $300 and today i went to other place check the baterry againg and they told me the baterry is bad. No working baterry. This is so sad they are there to help ..but they dont. Please do your job with love and passion.

They were unable to get the item for me because the store doesnt carry it but the employee was very diligent trying to find something that would work. It was a radiator cap for a deuce 1/2 diesel military truck. At any rate it was much appreciated. Robert Reese
Though its not always the case that no one behind the counter knows about my own project, sometimes it is the case. That said, there is merit to the longevity of employment dor the staff. There doesnt seem to be a lot of turnover. Thats a good sign. They will also match any online price, even Walmart. Returns are not a problem within reason. So, check it out.
They carry everything and really know their stuff. Trying to find help here is way better than anyplace in a ten mile radius. Super fast if you need to order a part. I tend to always get the right part here.

I like the place they are very helpful but they dont honor the claim that they will help change the battery. This is the second time in 1 year I went to get a new battery and bother the time they gave same reason that not enough members in the shop so they cant change battery and so I have to do it myself. So, if you want to change battery urself they are good as they give you tools to replace it yourself but on the contrary if you want them to change the good luck as I know they will not :)

My car had a battery problem, so visited this store. They offered battery check first and confirmed that the battery maximum capacity is low. So I bought a new one there. They didnt offer replacement service but I knew how to anyway. Instead they lended me some tools so I was able to replace it by myself at the parking lot.
Corporate would be proud of the way this store is managed! Lucky to have 3/4 ORileys close to me employee so many class acts!
