Dent Guy in Monterey

We had a fairly minor incident. But the drivers door no longer could close, rendering the car dangerous to operate. Guy had a look at it, saw it was not a big job and gave us, on the spot, an estimate that was way less than we originally feared. He said he didnt want to leave us without a safe car, so he managed to give us an appointment later that same day. Indeed he came at our place and did a perfect job. All that for a mind boggling low price. Should you be unlucky enough to require his services, hes the guy to call.

I would recommend Guy without hesitation. He did an excellent repair job on my 1969 Airstream Overlander after a storm yeeted a 6 x 8 wooden fence panel into the front right corner. The body work looks better than it did prior to the dent.

I cant share enough positive comments about Guy and his meticulous work. He arrived when he said he would and diligently worked on my Honda till it was made beautiful again. I would recommend Guys Auto Body Repair to anyone in the Monterey area. Meet with Guy at 10AM to look at my wifes Toyota Highlander for a dent in the rear panel and 3 door dings as well as a couple dents in the rear hatch. Rather than spending thousands, we spent hundreds of dollars and couldnt be happier. After finishing my wifes car, he worked on my Lincoln. It sustained substantial damage on the rear bumper that I was quoted over 3k+ to fix. Guy was a fraction of that, in one day we had both cars looking great. Above and beyond!!

I ve had Guy work his magic on my truck a couple times. He was punctual, his work impeccable, and always for a very fair price. The second time he was showing me the results of his work on a big, ugly door ding and I was more than happy with the results. He looked at it from all angles and thought he could get it just a bit better! I was more than happy already and he could have driven off but he spent another half hour trying to get it back to pristine as humanly possible! We ll miss him around here but I wish him all the success in the world with his relocation to FL.

The Dent Guy, Guy, is the best. I had a large scrape that had taken off the paint, and on the other side a large dent by the wheel well. I met Guy to show him the damage and he gave me a run down on all the things we could do from the very pricey to the not so bad. We agreed on the method and he gave me a price for the work. Then we scheduled a time and he came right to my house. He was on-time, he did exactly what we agreed upon including the price. He didn t try to add anything else or skip any steps. The work was exquisite, and my car looked as good as new. It is not often you can find someone as professional as Guy, but I am amazed at the job and how easy he was to work with.

Guy repaired a front bumper, a rocker panel and a rear fender on our car. Cars paint is tricky, it uses a mixture of paint and a second one that gives it the pearl tone. Guy took time explain that the repaired locations will not be a perfect match. And pointed out that even from factory some panels looked slightly different. That said, I was very pleased with his work, I could not tell the repaired areas apart from the factory paint. Guy knows his business, he is an expert and a professional. I would recommend Guy for any body repair work on any car. Shame that he is leaving Monterey Bay Area for Florida. Guy, best wishes to you on the new chapter. If Florida does not treat you well I hope you come back to Monterey.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting with Guy to look at my car and provide estimates. Unfortunately, I will be moving soon and won t be able to use his services; however he spent time with me to go over everything I need to know to ensure my car is taken care of. I highly recommend Dent Guy. Guy made availability for an assessment and repair of the dents on my trucks door and tailgate within short notice. He came out to my place and took good care of my truck and did clean work on all the dents. I am completely happy with the results. Guy s work is truly fantastic. My car decided to kiss some concrete and Guy made it disappear. I can t even tell it ever happened. His attention to detail and patience come through in the quality of his work. You can tell he loves what he does. He did an outstanding job and it was affordable too. He was much faster than a body shop would have been. The turnaround was amazing. I couldn t recommend Guy more highly not to mention he s one of the nicest, kindest people you ll ever meet.

Guy did a wonderful job on our dented bumper and fender right at our house. He removed the dents and he painted the fender and did a few touchup spots on a few other scratches on our truck. He charged a very reasonable price as well. Guy strikes me as a very honest and sincere person. It was a pleasure to work with him and where I hope never to put dents in my vehicle again, if I did, I would work with him again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

I am delighted by the magic Guy, The Dent Guy, worked on my KIA s dent! An unfortunate encounter with a parking garage pillar left a dent over my wheel. But, through persistence and patience, Guy was able to repair the damage perfectly!

Great experience with Dent Guy (Guy). He has worked on 3 cars (Audi, Porsche and Tesla) for us and everything has been very professional with excellent results and low expense. For a rock chip, scratch and abrasions clean up on high end cars, I highly recommend him. Very knowledgeable on auto body and paints. He also repaired a dent on our neighbors garage door, good job!

Im happy to recommend Guy. I had a job that some mobile paintless dent repair specialists turned down, and others warned me that they couldnt repair it 100%. But I didnt want to send it to a body shop and be without the car for two weeks or something. Guy quoted me only slightly more than a local paintless dent repair specialist, and he said he could make it look perfect, and he could do it in my driveway. He did it all as promised; it looks like the damage to the car never happened. He also communicated well, returned phone calls, and showed up right on time for the quote and the job.

Guy is truly a magician! My Model Y had suffered some severe dents on the drivers side door, but Guy came to the rescue. He not only provided me with a comprehensive explanation of the available options along with a detailed quote, but he also arrived promptly on the scheduled day, true to his word. The results were absolutely astounding as he flawlessly repaired both dents. My wife and I are still in awe because we simply cannot locate where the dents were after his remarkable work. Wanted to share an experience we had with Guy the Dent Guy. We had an unfortunate case of vandalism damage to my sons vehicle, Guy made us a priority and came out on a Sunday to help us out. I wish there were more businesss and people in the world like this. And he wouldnt accept payment! Did it as a favor. Now my #1 go to professional for dent repair in the Monterey Bay area.

I backed into a pole and mangled my Nissan Altima number and broke the left taillight. Guy (Dent Guy) gave me a price to repair and recommended a place to purchase the taillight. I asked him to also handle the taillight for me and he made the bumper look good as new. He took it off, heated it and re-molded it to the original shape. He re-adjusted all the bent bumper brackets and remounted the bumper. He buffed out all the scratched and the bumper surface showed no signs of the accident. He found an after market light assembly but we decided to go with the Nissan replacement part to get the LED features. Guy ordered the Nissan part and installed it. You can t tell I had an accident. I m going to get some touch up paint and ask Guy to show me how to do touch ups. He performed all the work at my home and it s educational to see how a car bumper is connected to the car. There s no substitute for experience (Guy s VAN says 35 years) and this business model makes for a much lower bill for body shop work. Give him the opportunity to recommend a solution.

We just had the good fortune of having Guy Remlin Dent Guy repair and restore our cars. Guy has crafted his service to be customer sensitive in that he works on the road. His deep knowledge about cars makes him a true professional when it comes to body repair and lens restoration. Guy did exactly what he said he would, always on time and with us, as customers, in mind. In this case his was the lowest cost of four local body shop estimates but I would use him even if it wasnt. Guy saved us. Full stop. We were in a panic at Monterey Car week for Maserati. We called him at 9pm, he was there within an hour, COMPLETELY saved us for our press event the next morning. Guy is super knowledgeable, kind, helpful, respectful, and willing to work with you on whatever you need. Cannot say enough complimentary things about him. We had a very specific and unique problem and he was able to solve it. Hes a great pay it forward kind of guy. If ever we have in issue in the Monterey area again, Guy is my first call.

Based on his numerous excellent reviews, I decided to contact Dent Guy to repair the damage to the front bumper and the 20 years of parking lot dings and road stone bruises to my beloved 2004 Lexus LS430. I made a good decision. I found Guy to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of automobile body repair, hardworking, driven to produce the best outcome for his customer, friendly, and honest. Guy s skills are the perfect combination of a craftsman for collision/ding repair and an artist for touch up painting such as the difficult to match pearl white on my Lexus. He is meticulous at both as the final result result shows. I received a top tier result for my Lexus at a reasonable, competitive price. I could not be more pleased with the services provided by Dent Guy and highly recommend him to restore your car to its former glory.

This was yet another of our excellent experiences with Dent Guy. Personable, terrific communication, timely, top quality workmanship (see photo of rear bumper repair, looks new) and a remarkable paint match with BMW Champagne Quartz Metallic. A friend recommended Guy to fix my fender that had been bashed. Ive always felt uncomfortable dealing with car issues, but Guy exuded integrity, eliminating my concerns. Guy did a great job on the car and was punctual, professional and thorough.

The Dent Guy fixed a few dents and the surrounding paint on my black G37. He shows up on time, finishes the repair and paint beautifully exactly when he says he will and charges less than any body shop would. He is a true old-school craftsman and I highly recommend him.

I ve called the Dent Guy twice and both times he s come through. The first time was to fix a challenging dent when a tree hit the passenger door on my Mercedes. Unless you ve got bionic vision youd never know anything happened. Talk about surgical precision! The second time was a paint touch-up - I just don t trust myself to do it at all. Guy was recommended to me because I couldn t spend a fortune on body shops so I took the plunge. His pricing is super reasonable and he was very prompt. Who needs a full body shop when you can call the Dent Guy?
