Just wanted to share how thankful I am to americas tire. Today I showed up after work with a different style tire. It’s a tubeless Minnie motorcycle 6” tire I’ve been fighting with for three days. After watching countless YouTube videos, acquiring like 7 cuts, a bruised knee and purchasing my set of tire spatulas. I finally threw in the towel. I swallowed my pride and drove it to the experts with really low expectations because based on all my research most machines have a minimum rim size of 11”. I drove up and the entire crew looked extremely busy tending to their customers. The manager walked over and said what do you have and I pulled out of my work truck with one hand and said it’s a project I’ve been at this for three days I need some help. To my surprise he took it said give me a few minutes and pull up. Just like he said ten minutes later he made what was my nightmare disappear and completely turned my day around. It’s a beautiful thing to have a shop like this in my community, makes me feel proud and from this day forward I will be an americas tire supporter. Hats off to the manager and their dedicated hard working crews. God bless and much thanks from a loyal resident.
" We don't have any service records." I rotate my tires at home, with every oil change. Am I supposed to call that in, to let your store know? How about every time I check the tire pressure, and add more air? You need want me to call the store to let you know? Or maybe I'm getting my service performed at a different shop. Besides, what does rotating tires have to do with a road hazard warranty? There's a nail in the tire. That happens whether you rotate the tires, I rotate the tires, another shop rotates the tires, or even if the tires aren't rotated at all. 3 hours later...... "Your low tire light should go out after you drive it around awhile." I didn't have a low tire light when I drove the car in. I had a nail in the tire. I pull up to their air station. The tire has 35 PSI. Only problem is that the door sticker says 44 PSI. I look at the service ticket, which has the make, model, and PSI...... CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE PAPERWORK. The tire clerk can't read their own paperwork and just decides to put whatever amount of air he feels like. How can I trust him with the torque spec on the wheel? Did he do that right, or just whatever? Did he actually balance the tire correctly? Or just slap on some random tire weights and did whatever he wanted? No big deal. I get a blow out on the freeway from air pressure being wrong. The wheel falls off the car at freeway speeds. People he won't ever see again.
No appointments were available, so I went in as a walk-in for a tire repair/replacement if they couldn't fix it. They were able to fix the tire is less than an hour. Customer service is always 10/10. This is the only place that we bring our cars. * Always get the car insurance! Thanks!
Mo and his team are the best! Very efficient and quick. Yes, they are busy, and get lots of customers, but it’s because they get the job done.walked in Saturday afternoon and managed to squeeze in time an hour before they closed to get my tires rebalanced and rotated for free as I already had bought tires previously . Then managed to come back Tuesday to get one of the wheels replaced. Got it done just over an hour on a busy afternoon. Thanks again Mo!
Tried to book an online appointment to get a slow leak in my tire fixed, earliest appointment offered in a 50-mile radius was two months away, so I stopped in on my way home from work a couple days later. Took about 30 minutes in line and then another hour and a half to get my tire fixed. Not too bad for a drop in and repair. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My tire was fixed, and because I had bought it there previously there was no charge.
As a lifelong residents of Arizona, where Discount Tire (America’s Tire) is headquartered, I’ve always trusted them with my tire needs. Over the years, their exceptional customer service has set the bar high, and I’m thrilled to say that same level of care extends to their locations everywhere. On a recent trip, Mauricio at this location in Millbrae, CA went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Facing an urgent and difficult situation, Mauricio managed to source a tire for us on very short notice, handling everything with professionalism and efficiency. His dedication and customer-first attitude turned what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth and reassuring one. It’s a great comfort to know that no matter where we are on the road, we can count on the exceptional service that has made Discount Tire/America’s Tire a trusted name for so many. Thank you, Mauricio, for your outstanding help!
Searched for six months to find an extremely rare spec’d M240i in mint condition. Even my detailer was amazed by it, and mentioned how only one wheel had a half inch of curb rash with the rest spotless. Had new tires installed today. Upon receiving, instantly noticed a new wheel weight half hanging off and had to flag it with a tech to have it replaced (would have just flown off). Wheels/tires were left filthy as seen in photos - gobs of bead sealant flung all over them, a layer of dirt, and all the old wheel weight adhesive left on. Upon cleaning, found a huge chip taken out of the wheel paint…through both layers down to the bare alloy. That was NEVER there. I won’t even bother calling the store, as I can already tell there’s no pride and I’ll get the runaround. Just calling out the wheel weight yielded snappy responses. Corporate complaint it is. I’m only 29, and it’s a genuine bummer to see how poor the quality of everyone’s work and attitude is these days compared to even ten or twelve years ago….spend $1,000 just to get snapped at and have my vehicle damaged. 👎🏼
Fyi All !. The standard message to all customers. It will take 1 1/2 hours which is CORRECT if you are one of the first 5-6 customers. In most cases, it will take at least 3 hours if one comes in after 11am. I brought my vehicle in for a wheel rotation. 1:37pm. It’s now 4pm and I just saw a technician drive my vehicle into the tire bay. As I sit waiting, I hear the supervisor/manager tells staff members that to punch out at 6 hours. It’s apparent, the company is making sure no one makes overtime which makes sense. I’m guessing starting April 1st, fast food employees if one can get a job at a fast food establishment will make more than an America tire sales rep? The sales technique is to upsell. The low cost tires are not in stock since the margins in those tires are possible lost leaders . It best to plan to replace tires a few months of planning to obtain the best price. América tires do match price so do your homework and save. I recommend buying the tire insurance. It’s peace of mind. It covers up to 3 years of all tragic damages to the tire. The insurance starts at $24.95. Please confirm the insurance coverage and length of coverage. America tires offer free rotation and balancing cost $10 a tire. America tires also provide free tire inspection and air check. It is highly recommend to check the air pressure once a month and rotate the tires every 5 thousand miles. One can extend the life of the tires by 20 percent with these regular and free service. Bottom line, save some money and perform these basic service. Sadly, most people do not and they could increase their safety and extend the life of the tires. IMO
