Got a great deal on a pre-owned 2020 Toyota Camry! It was our first time in a dealer and the whole process was smooth and very quick, took less than 3 hours. Very happy and satisfied with the customer service, Lance was great with helping us land the perfect car for us. He took his time to bring out cars for us to test drive and made sure we felt comfortable with what we were choosing. Disappointment with the financing and vehicle registration team. It has been an extremely frustrating and time consuming process trying to fix the errors they made. Now I have to go back to the DMV because they provided incorrect information. I would advise anyone purchasing from here to supervise their processes while you re sitting in front of them. Once you purchase your vehicle, they re only available Monday- Friday 9-5

Drove an hour to see a used 2023 highlander limited that I viewed while browsing through internet. Had everything we needed and test drove it. It was a bit dirty in the backseat area. I don t like to write negative feedbacks, but this time I have to. Just want to let potential customers know of the issues they might expect from Toyota Prius 2024. I got my car in December 2023 and one persistent problem was bothering me from the beginning. A CarPlay connection neither through the wire nor through Bluetooth isn t stable. It goes on and off in the middle of nowhere. This is very distracting especially while driving. Many times I had to pull over to the side of the road and restart the car, because it won t reconnect properly once it disconnected without starting the engine again. It happened with both of my iPhones (work and personal). I was advised by Toyota service team to get a new phone cable, which I did soon after. The issue was still there. I rent different cars a few times to go out of town and never had any problems. Today was my third time bringing my Prius for regular 15 thousand miles service and this time in Manhattan Beach Toyota and I brought the exact same issue once again to Toyota team. After an hour I received a call summarising that Manufacturer investigating this problem and if resolution will be found I ll be contacted. But, for now, since it s not a safety issue, I have to stick with it. Sounds like Toyota just doesn t care about their customers as I m hearing the exact same answer for the second year. I am disappointed and truly think they could have done a better job.

I live very close to several large dealerships in my area, but MB Toyota offered the best price among them. Kenia Hernandez assisted me with purchasing my vehicle (2025 Camry LE). I have bought at least five new cars in the past, and my experience at MB Toyota was unlike any of those previous ones. They did not try to upsell me on anything, which made this my best experience so far. I plan to return to buy another vehicle when I finish with my Mirai in two years. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment for the 25,000-mile service and recall. After waiting for 4 hours, I was informed that everything was done and I could pick up my car. Upon inspecting the vehicle, I discovered that the tire rotation hadn t been completed. I was extremely surprised, considering I had waited 4 hours. Aidan Johnson called over the mechanic who worked on my car, and the mechanic admitted that he had mistakenly returned the car without performing the rotation. I was then told it would take an additional 5 minutes to finish the job. The mechanic also claimed that he had completed the oil and filter change, but later Aidan Johnson clarified that these services were not included in the 25,000-mile service and therefore weren t performed. This raises a serious question: why would the mechanic claim to have done something that wasn t actually completed? And why, after arriving on time, am I left waiting 4 hours without receiving the service I should have received? I was also shocked when the service advisor, in response to my question about why the tire rotation wasn t done, replied, Well, we did it when you told me. Are you kidding me? Do I really have to tell you to perform the tasks that you re supposed to do?
So far I m feel so so about my visit to Manhattan Beach Toyota service center?! I just pray I don t regret my decision to bring my car here ..but we ll see!!

Had an issue with my 4runner wheel locks (i lost the key). Long story short, I drove up with no appointment and Mike in parts 10000% helped me and figured out a solution on the spot. I had never been to this dealership, but they treated me great and took care of me immediately. Great spot.
Never going back there again. ts so silly that they denied a $50 coupon for any service(no minimum) sent to me by them in the mail. Without even taking a minute to understand, the adviser dismissed it saying it can only be applied on my next appointment and not the one that I just did. Their manager claims that the coupon text is misleading. The only thing clear from this is they will deny as much as they can so to convince you. What a scam. When I expressed my dissatisfaction their manager yelled at me saying I should not talk that way to his employees!!! Really?? What have I said that was offensive when I asked to speak to the manager??? This is such an immature and unprofessional act from the adviser and service manager. They honored the coupon btw but damage is done. You lost a longtime customer.

This is a review for the amazing staff at Manhattan Beach Toyota. I m one of the many people that realized how extensive the search for your preferred Sienna can be and what separates many dealers are if they do markup or not. MB Toyota is a haven for those not looking to pay that markup. But on top of that, I had the pleasure of working with Kenia and Raul. I ll be honest and say in my months of searching, the number of sales people I have communicated was too much to remember but these two were special. Not only did they respond super quick, they actually followed up with me. I did all comms via text and messenger making the process super easy. Most sales people say, nope we don t have it. Yes, I don t even fault them. Sienna will always be an in demand car. But Kenia and Raul asked what my spec was and that they d update me. And they did! Multiple times. I bought a 2024 Toyota Sienna from this Manhattan Beach Toyota dealership with an agreement at sticker price. I specifically told them that I didn t want any markup or extra warranty and when I got there the salesman, Gabriel, was very straightforward with pricing. Still, the finance person was trying to sell me several kinds of warranty. I refused everything but they still sneaky put a tire and wheel warranty for $1100 into the contract. I have struggled with the refund process and hassle for almost a month and still don t know when I will receive my refund for the unauthorized charge of this warranty. If I had known this was tricky, I wouldn t have bought a car from this place. Addendum on 10/1/2024: I called Toyota T/W warranty on 9/23, they said they didnt received any cancellation request from MBT, then I called MBT, David at financial told me that MBT usually send the cancellation by the end of the month and it will take another month for the process, so he told me that I would likely received my refund by the end of October. I called back to T/W to initiated the cancellation process by myself by send all the paper that T/W requested on 9/23 same day. On 09/30, I was able to talk to Alison Lent, customer relations manager, she is very sincere and apologize, she said that she called to T/W to expedite my refund process. At least I see that MBT still have some good people like Gabriel, Internet Salesman and Alison, Customer Relations manager. Thank you. I decided to change from one stars to four stars. The bottom-line, this car purchase process should be happy ending that I received the car as an agreement. Shouldnt put anything in without a buyer knowledge, period. Its even more frustrate that i have to go through the hassle refund process by myself.

Service department adds fees and dont listen when you tell them you only want an oil change and they instead do a full service costing over $400. Ridiculous. Beware! They state they tell you the total but instead they make you sign without noticing the estimates price.

Totally satisfied with Toyotas service. I bought a new car and added tire insurance. When a screw or nail punctures my tire, I take it to Toyota to have it changed. After waiting 2 hours, I am informed that the tire cannot be replaced. It is worn out and needs to be replaced. I was simply very irritated by Toyotas response. We cannot exchange it for a new tire because its tire is old! Now I wonder why I am paying for tire insurance if Toyota refuses to replace it when it gets a puncture because the tire is worn out. Anyway, I should always only puncture new tires. Old tires cannot be punctured. It makes no sense at all. I am totally disappointed that Toyota made me wait at the reception for almost two hours and then called me and said they could not replace it.

Purchased my first vehicle here, and I loved the experience. The dealer itself was very relaxing and let me have all the time I needed to make sure the purchase was right for me. I had salesman Jason Soto help me out from test driving to the signing of the vehicle. He was very kind and I felt no pressure as they were willing to accommodate to my preferences and needs. Even going into the financing department I felt very well taken care of, and they were willing to explain to the tea especially because I didnt know too well how everything worked.
Went to MB Toyota to check out the RAV4 Prime though I didnt expect them to have any in stock since that car is so hot. They had two and I looked at one and took it for a test drive. The salesperson then showed me a used one that was just what I was looking for, and less expensive. I hadnt asked about used cars so was really happy that he showed it to me because it better fit my needs, even though the commission for him was likely lower. Re negotiating price, I didnt try hard but there also didnt seem to be a lot of room for price reductions. The price wasnt cheap but it seemed pretty reasonable. So I bought it that day. The car was, and is, in very good shape. It did take a long time at the dealership so that wasnt great but my experience with my salesperson was very good. My only complaint is that when I met with the finance guy, he of course tried to sell me insurance and other products. When explaining the coverage of an extended warranty, he told me about the amount of time it covered and I said I would buy it, but only later did he tell me the mileage limits. I still ended up buying the car and the warranty but felt a bit mislead, even he apologized and said he thought he had covered that matter. Overall though, I still am giving 5 stars as I got a car I love, at a decent price and they made the process pretty painless.

I ve been a loyal customer to the Toyota Service center in Manhattan Beach for more than a decade. I ve been getting my service and repairs done at the center with all my toyota vehicles and have sent all my family to go there as well. I had recently had my car repaired there and when they returned the car they had failed to turn off the sensors stating the problem. While the problem had been resolved, the sensors being triggered was not bothersome enough to go out of my way to have them turned off. So I returned when I needed a service and requested they turn off the sensors while they were at it. They tried to charge me $196 to turn off the sensors. A total rip off for something that should have been completed by them from the original job. Serves me right for expecting decency from the leniency I granted them. I even spoke to the manager who insisted that it wasn t their problem or fault, despite the records on file from the repairs made. It was so incredibly frustrating and a bit of a spit in the face considering how loyal a customer I ve been for more than a decade. I left without servicing my car and found another service center to take my car. They did my normal service and turned off the sensors at no extra charge even going further to state that it was so easy and not worth charging for. Moving forward, they will no longer receive our cars for service or our business when we purchase new cars. 1 star for customer service, 1 star for customer appreciation, 1 star for best business practice.
I had a great experience with my Grand Highlander Hybrid purchase at Manhattan Beach Toyota, specifically with Kenia. I inquired about the vehicle through Toyotas Smartpath, and although it stated Id hear from someone within 24-48 hours, it was only a few hours before Kenia introduced herself and we started working together immediately. Kenia was very cordial, sweet, responsive, and helpful throughout. When I had a question, she had an answer. When I wanted to make edits, shed put them in with her inventory manager promptly and responded when they were fulfilled or could not be fulfilled. Kenia explained the process and kept me informed along the way, which was about a 6-week process due to the demand for this vehicle (we put down a deposit to hold the vehicle before it was built). When I finally met her on purchase day, she was a breath of fresh air going through the process. Not only as cordial as she had been on all previous emails and calls, but super helpful with tips on the actual purchase and going through the cars features. She continues to be responsive to our questions as we drive and learn about the vehicle. I want to mention that the finance department made the purchase easy and smooth. They didnt push me to purchase things I didnt need, they answered questions I had about various documents to sign, and got me out the door quick. Id definitely work with Kenia and Manhattan Beach Toyota again. Thank you Kenia and Manhattan Beach Toyota!!

What an experience! We were in the Manhattan Beach area and last minute decided to take a look at cars. My daughter and I had been researching Toyota Corollas for a while so we were familiar with pricing and trim options. Our sales person Mustafa Aljuboori, was not only informative and knowledgeable he was also extremely customer service oriented and easy to talk to. We had lots of laughs and it made the experience fun and easy going. He didnt pressure sale, rather informed us of the pros and cons of the vehicles and consulted us towards a 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid SE. His sales manager also helped with reducing the cost for us a bit, which we were very grateful for. Our Finance Manager, Hector Aguayo was also very professional as he presented warranty options. He helped to figure a workaround to remain within the payments that would be beneficial to my daughters finances while also providing the security of the warranty. It was great working with Ken Howard. He was able to get us a new Toyota Sienna XSE with a lot of the features we wanted. We also got it in Cement color. The dealership didnt have mark ups for the Sienna. With that said, had to pay MRSP. There was a Toyota nationwide promotion for 20% off accessories for Memorial Day weekend, but it was not factored into our purchase. Other than that, everything went smooth. Ken kept us up to date on build and delivery times and was flexible in setting up our appointment to examine the Sienna.
I worked with Stefan Yanez with our Sienna purchase. He was very professional and spent a lot of time helping us get the trim and options that we wanted. Overall a good experience. After buying a car here they were quick to tell us they would take care of mailing us a 2nd key but never did. After calling several times someone even told us the salesperson no longer worked there and later when I called they were there.

By far, this car-buying experience at Manhattan Beach Toyota has been the worst one Ive had in my life a total nightmare. The Sienna was supposed to be gold-certified and up to Toyota standards. The next day, I got it home, and the A/C began to malfunction. It was an absolute headache to get a hold of the service department. It wasnt until I left a negative comment on Goggle that Allison Lent reached out and assisted me in addressing this issue. The level of incompetence at Manhattan Beach is mind-blowing. Ive made five trips to the dealer, three just on Saturday; I live in Pasadena. The first trip was to pick up the Sienna, and I was told the repairs were completed and ready for pickup. As soon as I got home, the A/C began to malfunction. I immediately contacted the service department and was advised to bring back the Sienna, and I headed down to Manhattan Beach for a second time. As I returned home, as soon as I exited the freeway, I was contacted and told that the issue had been discovered and addressed. The service advisor was apologetic and informed me that the service technician had missed checking an A/C part, which caused the minivan to continue to malfunction. I appreciate Jesus Moreidas excellent customer service. He went above and beyond, but the situation was out of his control. His customer service should be acknowledged and appreciated. I still cannot believe the level of incompetence. I would not recommend this dealer; I will copy and paste my review on Google and Yelp so that other potential buyers see and read the level of stupidity and service that Manhattan Beach Toyota offers to the general public. Also, Hector, the finance manager, should not be allowed to contact potential customers. His demeanor and character come off as a schemer and shyster. As soon as I get the DMV registration, Ill be refinancing the Sienna to my credit union. I want nothing to do with Manhattan Beach Toyota!

I just got my car from here last week and it was a great experience. I used to sell cars and didn t want to deal with a salesman and was dreading having to but Carol Gutierrez was actually great to work with.
Stay away if you don t want to be scammed! This establishment blatantly disregards the Toyota manual s recommendations for hybrid vehicles, opting instead to follow what the State of California suggests for hybrids, which is vastly different from the norm. Typically, it s advised to change the oil every 3,000 miles or 6,000 for synthetic oil changes. However, they insist on doing it every 10,000 miles. If you own a Prius and expect an oil change every 5,000 miles, you ll end up paying for it, but they ll only change it every 10,000 miles. This practice is not only misleading but also potentially detrimental to your vehicle s health and longevity.
Just horrible people, at least the salesman and finance team... They convinced and sold my unemployed 72yr old father a car with the highest TRD Package, with zero down payment, a 72 month loan and a payment a third his rent. Of course my father passed away less then two years after this and now my mother has to figure out what to do with the car. Ive tried calling for advice and help and all I get is, Youll have to talk to Toyota about that and wash their hands of helping us. terrible

So, I was on the hunt for a used Tacoma and ended up at Manhattan Beach Toyota after checking out a few other spots and talking to some other dealers over the phone. I had my eye on a specific Tacoma I saw online and tried to get in touch with a salesperson beforehand, but no luck with a callback. I was quoted a Internet True Value $10,000 market adjustment on a premium vehicle which I negotiated to a $5000 market adjustment that I had seen from another dealer. I accepted the terms and gave a credit card for hold and the following day was told the owner wants a $15,000 market adjustment. Unprofessional? Dishonest?

First I will say that my service guy David Miranda is AMAZING. That said, my first minor service (10k miles) turned into a nightmare when one of the mechanics failed to tighten something (their words) and oil leaked all over my garage. Nightmare. Will probably still go to them because of David and their proximity to the crib but otherwise would say proceed with caution...

They are great at billing and charging you for everything possible to make a buck. Beware of leaving a refundable deposit for a car. I put a deposit down for the car, but I changed my mind and decided I didn t want the car anymore. So I contacted my sales representative, Adrian, who told me he d take care of it. He didn t, I proceeded to call the dealer and was transferred to people who didn t pick up the phone. One time I was told to hold as the rep went to speak to the manager only to get hung up on. I asked Adrian to please give me my deposit about 4 times, every time saying he s take care of it until he just ghosted me. It felt like the dealership didn t want to give me back my refundable deposit. I had to call the dealer at least 10 times before I finally reached someone who gave me the phone number of the sales manager. Finally after calling him, I got my refund processed. All in all, it took 10 days to get my refund, at least 10 calls that went nowhere, and a sales representative who says one thing and doesn t follow through with his word. Avoid this dealership if you re going to put a refundable deposit down!

I just purchased a 4Runner TRD Pro. This purchase was a 100% on line purchase. And I wanted the vehicle delivered to AZ. I worked exclusively with Irvin in sales. Irvin communicated with me each day clearly. I have purchased multiple vehicles on line in the past and this was by far the easiest transaction Ive had. Id like to thank Irvin for a fast and easy deal. Everything went very smoothly. Instead of the delivery taking a week, it only took one day. That was a great surprise. Had my oil changed this morning before change I asked service manager Jesus what type of oil use for my 22 Camry se he replied 0W-20 I checked car manual it actually said 0W-16 I ask him again he said he was mistaken after job done I read the receipt print out it printed oil used 0W-20 I talk to Jesus again ask what s going on oh it s just a typo, really? So I just have to trust you? Also had my cabin filter replaced mechanic must have placed the dusty filters right on the dashboard dust all over didn t bother to wipe it clean and left the service sticker trash on the seat unprofessional staff messy mechanic how can I trust you dealer service again? 12/5/2023; After brought car back redo oil change to the correct oil and washed my car it s all good now. Hope doesn t happen again

The salesman Justin is a horrible customer service person and has no issue lying to you to get you in through the doors. This dealership will market a reduced price online but once you re in, they will tell you the price is much higher than they advertised. Justin will treat you as if you re incompetent. Oh also if you re a woman who asks questions, they don t really care for your inquiries especially if you go in with a male companion. We left and bought a truck elsewhere within hours of leaving this dealership. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Edit - the price wasn t honored that s why we left. It s the principle that matters.

Just left Manhattan Beach Toyota service for the second time I just bought a brand new Prius prime and when you purchase your car currently there s a key shortage you have to come back in later for your key. Manhattan Beach Toyota has called me back twice to come get the key and when I get there they ve given away the key to someone else. This is gross incompetence or they re picking and choosing the people they like to service over others and that s just ridiculous. I regret purchasing my car here and will have to find another place to service it. I had to pay sticker because they re not discounting the Prius prime because they re so new I could ve paid sticker anywhere shouldn t have come to Manhattan Beach Toyota.

I have been trying to get a refund on a pre paid service contract on a car that was a total loss in a car accident. I have called and went in and talked to several people since November and I still dont have a refund.

Was looking around at cars for a while and had a few in mind. Came to the dealership to look at a Corolla hatchback and unfortunately there were none on the lot that day. Spoke with STEFAN YANEZ and let him know what I was looking for. A few days later, I received a call that the exact car and color I was looking for arrived on the lot. I went to test drive the car the same day and loved it. STEFAN was awesome. I knew exactly what I wanted and knew the specs of the car inside and out. STEFAN let me do my thing and was pretty hands-off when I was inspecting (which I appreciated). I can be a hard negotiator sometimes but STEFAN worked with me on a price that made us both happy. Needless to say, I drove off the lot in my brand new Corolla pleased with the overall experience. STEFAN, I hope you read this and know that you did a killer job.

It was a little amazing how easy it was to purchase a car from Manhattan Beach Toyota. We were in the hunt to purchase a pretty hard to get, Highlander Hybrid with a very specific trim and configuration, and after reach out to Carol, she really took care of us, was very upfront and honest with your communication. While you typically hear horror stories of auto salespersons, that was definitely not my experience with Manhattan Beach Toyota, and when it came to picking up our car, it was smooth sailing, nothing gimmicky or tricky, and we were in and out within 2 hours, just like Carol said. AND while other dealers were charging $5-10k OVER MSRP, Carol came in below MSRP, so this was a slam dunk. Cant say enough great things about this experience, and it sounds like others are having the same great experience too. These guys come highly recommended from me, and Carol did a fantastic job! Despite some positive aspects, my experience at Manhattan Beach Toyota was marred by significant shortcomings. Notably, the failure to disclose the substantial upsell of over $10,000 before closing day reflects a lack of transparency and raises concerns about the dealerships sales practices. This omission left me feeling blindsided and undermined the trust I had placed in the dealership. Furthermore, the dealerships reluctance to offer a discounted rate for exchanging the inferior Toyo tires for Michelin ones the day after the purchase highlights a missed opportunity for customer satisfaction and goodwill. Instead of proactively addressing the issue, Manhattan Beach Toyota opted for a costly solution that placed an unnecessary financial burden on me as a customer. While Manhattan Beach Toyota demonstrated some commendable aspects of customer service, such as the eventual cancellation of overpriced warranties, these instances of poor communication and unwillingness to accommodate reasonable requests detracted significantly from the overall experience and indicate areas for improvement within the dealerships operations.

Great experience right from the moment I walked on the lot. Was approached by the nicest and most sincere worker we have met, Joey Silva, who provided excellent service to my family and stuck from the beginning till the end of the service. He excelled and provided excellent care and made us feel as home at the dealership. Walked away with a beautiful vehicle the same day the family picked it out. Satisfied and quick service till the end and was able to retain a happy deal.
Had a service appointment here to get an oil change and tire rotation. They said I needed new rear brakes. I got a second opinion and the second opinion said I had 60% left on my brakes. Seems like this service center is trying to scam people into getting things they dont need. Wont be going back here, even after the Director tried to clarify the situation. Thank you for your response. I have since had it verified that the rear brakes are at 6mm, by two different parties. As I said before, I believe you are doing a disservice to your clients by not explaining the service to them and trying to get them to replace parts before they need replacing.

This has to be one of the best dealerships based on my overall purchase & service experience. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle that we both agreed on a price beforehand. There was no pressure or obligation to buy the vehicle when I arrived. I test drove the vehicle, and any concerns I had were addressed immediately. My sales advisor was Nico Marra. He was impeccable with handling the sales transaction. Just cant say enough how he was able to go over and beyond with handling any of my requests without hesitation. I followed up with the service department (shout out to Aaliyah!), and this was top-notch as well. Im located near the Santa Monica area, and its well worth it to me to make the trip to Manhattan Beach, as customer service at this level is hard to find. I highly recommend you give them a look for your next vehicle purchase.

After an unpleasant exchange with a different dealership (which wanted $11k of markups and mandatory dealer add-ons, non-negotiable), I was referred to this dealership by the Costco Auto Program. After signing up, I promptly received an email from Emiko. She kindly and quickly answered my questions and was transparent about pricing (I appreciate that they apparently don t do dealer markups or mandatory add-ons, which is a nice change). I was in and out in just under a few hours, traded in my old car for a relatively decent amount, with all my issues resolved. From Emiko to the finance guy (forgot his name, but he was pleasant), it was nice change to not feel coerced into buying things I didn t want/need. Would definitely recommend if you re in SoCal.
Easy, quick Irvin was the best dealer I ve talked to in ages. Had the WORST experience with all the other toyotas. Santa monica was the worst of all. Happy i waited and got my car with these guys
