Lalo Auto Repair in Madera

Haven't had one issue since I left there with my car. Now I know where I can go and feel good about it. My experience was honest with great service! Quick, too! Thanks to them.

I been going here for awhile now did two jobs here. My dad recommended this place to me says Lalo does a good job. I been very pleased with the work and he is fair with prices. I definitely recommend this place.

Do not recommend for your ac car services. I Went here because it was the only place open and I was in a pinch to get on the road asap. I went in because my car wasn’t blowing cold air. My experience: they put Freon in my car without confirming with me and said it would be $130, but that it is actually the compressor that needs to be replaced which would cost $1300. If I wanted to take my car I needed to pay $130 for the Freon that was put in. When I asked why it was put in without asking me he said it needed to be done to properly diagnose it and that if I wanted it out, he can take out the Freon he put in for $60. I left with just the Freon hoping that would be a fix. It wasn’t but I didn’t trust his diagnosis and how he went about servicing and pricing. I found a different place in town. It turns out it was the condenser and that lalo’s people actually put too much Freon in the vehicle which is not good.

Im so impressed this is by far the best place to go I called this morning spoke with Lalo and told him over the phone the issues I was having with my car and he said bring it in I will take a look and check I did just that took it in that same day he check my car and gave my a very reasonable price and said I could have it ready with in an hour and sure enough it was ready I would highly recommend this place even if you don’t live in madera it’s worth the drive thank you Lalo for your great service

Ok for anyone looking for a reliable honest straight up mechanic in this town go no further than this place, he is amazing and honest and very well priced I highly highly recommend!!

Found this shop a few years back. By far the best mechanic in town. They don't just hook it up to a computer and tell you they can't duplicate the issue. They go the extra mile and actually figure it out the old school way like a true mechanic. Great customer service, awesome prices and even better work! I would definitely recommend this shop.

In the 8 years I've been taking my vehicles to Lalo only one Time I was left unsatisfied. Remember people we're human mistakes happen, Lalo is a straight up guy and I recommend everyone to give him a shot. Most negative feedback seems to come from his competitors or people who are cheapskates!
