He was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and kind, making sure I understood all my options and had everything I needed for my project. His customer service was truly top-notch, and he made what could have been a stressful shopping trip an absolute breeze. If you need assistance, Luis is the person to ask for he s simply the best! Home Depot is lucky to have him!

Rude constant announcements every single minute for 10 minutes before closing. No other Home Depot in the LA area has been consistently annoying like this. They also close nearly all self checkout registers well before closing causing an unnecessarily long line.

Good location. Except today and recently Ive spotted a white pick up truck with a flashing light. Some random guy with a cow boy hat driving circles in the lot. Makes one feel uncomfortable while going after the sun is down.

Jan 2025 update: so impressed w a man named Brent who works there who approached me when I was looking at the variety of barbecue grills. SO HELPFUL and I was able to zero in on my purchase. Thank you Brent! I ve always used Home Depot and I would normally give it a four star rating but a few months ago I discovered they re very liberal return policy and now they are a five star hardware store for me. As much as I want to support smoller mom and pop stores, the fact that I can return virtually anything no questions asked within sometimes several months makes purchasing things that I may need but not sure that I had here at that time a no-brainer

Bought a mini fridge the other day and while I looked Tony didnt catch his last name offered his help and was very attentive. Hes an older black gentleman that previously served with the Marines. He even got me a flatbed to move the fridge and offered to even load it onto the car. Great guy!!! Semper fi!!!

Horrible store. Avoid it. A young man-employee with curly black hair is extremely rude and lazy. He s unable to help and knows nothing. All he does is talk and make complaints to customers that they ask too many questions instead of working and helping them.

We always get our Christmas tree here and they always have great selection! Fast and easy!

My experience this evening with two associates, this evening- is what made me change my previous review of a one star to a 5 star .

I went for a Christmas tree and it was already closed. On Google it says they close at 9pm and the tree area closes at 8pm, but its not on the internet. I arrived at 7:55pm and they wouldnt let me in, I just wasted my gas.

They need to change online schedule . They close at 8 on Sundays!!! I drove from far away to buy my Christmas tree on the last day of Black Friday and they just said it was closed and on the official website it says it closes at 9 pm

Our one stop for DIY items, from tools to garden, to plants, home remodelling, tool and van rentals. The plants selection in the garden sections is immense every season. Customer service is usually quite good, they are making also the return process quite straightforward and easy.

We had a very pleasant shopping experience tonight thanks to Donovan. At checkout, we had a few checkout assistance messages and Donovan made sure to help us through it all, while still assisting the long line of customers in the self checkout area! It s rare to find people that care about their jobs, and Donovan is one of those people! He has a great personality and friendly demeanor!

Warning multiple flat tires reported . It s a sad day for me that I have to leave this comment. As Home Depot has been good to me over the years. Long story short. I got a flat in my BMW at the Home Depot in Marina del Rey. A nail through the tire. The tire was not fixable and ended up costing me $400 and extreme inconvenience. I went back a couple weeks later and asked to speak with the manager Whitney. She told me that the parking lots were cleaned every day, but I was there in the morning and it was filthy from months of debris from the contractors that are setting up shop there . I will start going to True value hardware from now on.

Least helpful Home Depot I ve been to. I asked a worker for help getting some wood cut and he said to wait by where that area is and that he d send someone over to help, ended up waiting there for 10 minutes and had to walk back up to customer service myself and ask them to call someone over. None of the workers offered any help and everyone was very unapproachable. Tragic up till now I ve only had good experiences with Home Depot..

There check out system is awful (self check out only now) and they dont take Google pay / samsung pay / Apple pay. The staff here are the least helpful and dont offer assistance. The return system is painstaking here as well. The return line interferes with the entrance and overall its one of the most chaotic and off putting experiences Ive had at Home Depot stores

I went here and a woman named Denize helped me. She went out of her way to make sure I got the product that I wanted. She was absolutely amazing!

this is my not first and last visit to this store in this location, I tried to find corner brace everbilt on my own, I spent about 14 minutes searching on my own and to no available, then I started looking for free staff to ask for help, I approached 3 people and none of them knew what it was and where it was, they just told me go there and to department 27-28 and you will find it, then go to 21-22 someone will help you there, as a result I started to get hysterical and I started screaming for help so that at least someone would help me, and then I started crying because I was simply manipulated and constantly told incorrect information and no one wanted to help

I want to share my appreciation for the fantastic service I ve consistently received from Anthony in rentals. From the moment I arrived, he immediately checked in with me and went above and beyond to resolve all of my questions and concerns. He even helped me load up my car, which really made a difference. Anthony has provided this same level of exceptional service on multiple visits, and it s clear that he gives the same personalized attention to every customer. My survey link expired, but I didn t want to miss the chance to recognize Anthony s outstanding service. I also hope this message reaches store manager Leticia Cruz, as Anthony s dedication truly deserves recognition. I m glad I chose Home Depot over Lowe s, and my experience was all the better thanks to Anthony s exceptional assistance. He sets a high bar for customer service, and it made a big difference in my day.

This place is close to my house and had almost everything I needed to start my project. It was hard to find someone yo help me with ordering the additional tools to start my project. My additional star would have been given if this location would have had more staff available yo help.

The level of customer service provided was unsatisfactory. I required assistance from one of the three employees who were present and available, but they did not appear to be concerned about my request. I had to ask three times before one of them finally agreed to help me. It is unfortunate that poor service seems to be the norm these days, regardless of the establishment.

Ferny aka Fernando is SOOOOO HELPFUL! He knows everything about his job and is SOO kind. He is the first person to ever come up to me to ask me if I need help since I looked confused and usually Im chasing after employees at Home Depot!! FERNY DESERVES A PROMOTION! He is the BEST!

Went to this Home Depot to get paint samples. The man who was entering in paint orders was very kind but was alone. We put our order in with him and waited about 15 minutes. He was busy putting in orders and no one was working to get the paint actually mixed! We had to leave empty handed because there was just no one actually mixing the paint and it seemed that it would literally take hours

Great Store if you know exactly what you need. The App shows you the aisle as well which is really nice - BUT if you need help and are not sure which part you need, you stand alone .. Was waiting 30 minutes for someone to tell me that he has no clue :( Had this three times already... Update: in 2024 August, the app still shows completely wrong information about the isles :(

We bought a refrigerator four weeks ago and the delivery has failed twice. First we received a refrigerator that had been damaged by the forklift during packing. Then after a two week delay and hours spent on hold with customer service to learn our new date, we receive a defective refrigerator (the freezer door did not close). So now its back to customer service and more time spent on hold. Update 8/9: Since Home Depot responded to this message, I would like to point out again that I have been on hold for multiple hours with this company. I understand that things can go wrong with deliveries, etc. but the expectation is that when they do, a company worth over $300 billion would be staffed appropriately to solve the problem. Instead, they force you to write bad reviews on Google Maps just at the chance of getting adequate support. Please dont be fooled into reading this companys response and thinking theyre solving the problem. They most certainly are not and are asking me to do more work to get the bare minimum response.

Great store!! Marquez M in outdoor or seasonal, and Patrice in garden, both are super helpful. I was going to go to Harbor freight instead to get a gas powered chain saw, when Marquez offerred to help me find a comparable chainsaw that would work for my job. We settled on the Milwaukee 16, and he even got me a promotional discount. Patrice in garden helped me checkout quickly with my discount, and get back to work!! Great job guys.

Great store if you can stand the painful barrage of screaming over the loud speaker. Basically employees yelling at each other to answer the phone. You think they would implement a Walky talky or in-ear system. Feels extremely dated that customers need to hear all the business racket.

They dont answer the phones. Go ahead, try to call this Home Depot and try to reach any department. Go ahead. Ill wait. And you will wait too because they dont answer the phones. Its not the associates fault, the fault totally lies with management. This is the worst run Home Depot of them all.

They have very aggressive customer service at the self checkout at this location. The ladies here make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Almost every time I shop here which is every couple of months I feel very uncomfortable here. As much money as I give when I shop at Home Depot I would expect better quality service and better quality employees providing said service. I know it s minimum wage, but that shouldn t equate to minimum quality of service.

I love Home Depot. However, when calling the specific department you need. There is no answer. I also tried to get a hold of customer service. The phone rang for a long time before it connected to an automated service. I waited a few mins and then was hung up on. I needed to find out the delivery status for an order placed that is supposed to arrive today.

I had a bad experience with a Home Depot employee in this store. I placed an appliances order in-store and then I called the store to MODIFY an item and not to CANCEL, a couple hours later. An older gentleman who picked up the phone refused helping me by giving me a hard time and suddenly hung up. I called again to verbally complain to the store manager, he transferred me to another employee in appliances department who mentioned the whole order was canceled by previous rep that you spoke with earlier. PLEASE ORDER ONLINE TO AVOID WASTING YOUR TIME WITH SOMEONE WHO HATES HIS JOB!

BEWARE: Tool rental center automatically adds on tool protection and cleaning fees. Cannot see contract when signing in store that makes you agree to things you cannot see because the contract is not shown on signature pad. Once they charge you they say you agreed to it and they cannot reverse the charges you agreed to that you never saw on the agreement. Spoke with Camilo the asst manager and he said to mention his name for a discount the next time I come in because there is nothing they can do to fix it once the agreement is closed out. Their goals are posted on a board behind the counter that consumers can see. Looks like 87% of the people today got equipment protection added to their bill. BEWARE.

Great inventory. Only problem is their credit card machines are often broken or glitchy from overuse, and hard to believe, but they still dont have contactless payment.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Employees just roaming around, congregating at random spots, chitchatting among themselves and to their friends. Nobody knows anything, nobody to help although called twice. Avoid. Just buy online from different vendor (HD online order cancelled because they are offering stuff they don t actually have.)

Ive been coming to this home depot for years. I am even a HD credit card holder. However, I dont like being accused from angel that im stealing when I have NOT even left the store with unpaid items, I was making my way to the register to purchase my things as he stops me and tells me im banned from the for 3years for shoplifting! EXCUSE ME?? Not sure what this guy is all about, however, I am NOT A CRIMINAL... I have never been in any kind of trouble in my life. I will longer patronize this home depot store to be harassed by some Mr know it all. The GM & upper management should really look at the way this guy treats and harasses the customers.

I did curbside pick up, after I got home I realized all 3 bags of mulch were opened before and retapped, not only it left a mess in my car, I also found used wrapping papers and other random trash in 2 of the bags. I contacted the customer service immediately, they asked me to repack 3 bags of mulch, bring them back to their store in order to get a $9 refund!?

Calling this store is impossible. Like if you want a laugh call and ask to be transferred to a department. ANY department. They will not be able to get you there. You will be on and off hold for 30 minutes as people pick up the phone, completely ignore your question, then plunge you back into the hold line. Then to really top it off just as youre reaching your breaking point- theyll hang up. It is almost impressive how much of my time this store has wasted. Unfortunately I have to keep playing this masochistic game hoping one day the store will operate like an actual business.

Associates working the paint section were extremely helpful

A LONG wait to get ANY sort of customer service (35 minutes) only to find that they could order what we were looking for (a portable dushwasher) but that they had none in stock at their store (which was like a huge warehouse). NOT A PLACE I PLAN ON DOING BUSINESS EITH IN FUTURE!

My family and I walked into the store at 7pm tonight. We walked straight to the Tool Rental area and I said hello to the man working in that area. He didnt smile or say hello back, just stared at us. I asked him if there was a truck available for rent at this time. He mumbles something at us and I had to ask him to repeat himself several times, because he kept walking away from us as we were speaking. He finally confirmed that he had a truck available and we asked him a few questions about what it takes to rent one. He kept giving me sarcastic answers (SO unprofessional) and made us feel like we were bothering him. He treated us like an annoyance. We told him that we would go shop for our items first and then come back to rent the truck. He said that was fine. We walked off and I felt unsettled about how rude he was towards us, but started shopping anyway. My family and I split up to get the shopping done quicker. Around 7:50 my dad came to me confused and said that the guy came to him and said You know we close at 9, are you still renting a truck? My dad told him yes, that we were almost done shopping, and we will come right back. We finish shopping and pay $300 for our items. It was 8:10. My dad walked back to finish renting the truck and the same guy looks at him and says Its past 8, we dont rent trucks after 8. How are we supposed to know you dont rent trucks past 8pm if you dont tell us that?! If the store closes at 9, how would we just magically know that we cant get a truck past 8?? That should have been the first thing he told us when we walked up to him at 7. I truly believe this man intentionally gave us the run around just so he wouldnt have to deal with us and literally do his own job. From the first interaction with this man I could feel his negative energy. So now we just bought $300 worth of wood and other items that wont fit into my small fiat and no way to take them home. We walked to customer service and explained the situation to a lovely lady named Sara. She literally went above and beyond for us. She was so helpful and willing to fix the situation for us right away. She told us that we could leave the items there and that we could come pick them up the next day. Even though I am feeling completely unsettled about leaving $300 worth of paid merchandise behind, I am hopeful that my items will still be there tomorrow when we return. I really hope that management sees this and has a conversation with the man at the Tool Rental department. He really needs to work on his bad attitude and LACK of *good* customer service. He didnt even offer any help to the situation once he denied us the truck. We had to seek a solution elsewhere with Sara. This Home Depot is LUCKY to have an employee like Sara, who put in the extra work to fix a bad situation created by a different employee. Way to pick up someone elses slack girl, I appreciate you.

The place we regularly go to do home improvements, here you find a little bit of everything whether you want to change floors, paint or any improvement to your home, the majority of the staff is friendly although I have had staff that are not very friendly, but generally good.

Went to get some spiderwood cut for my aquarium and was sent to rentals to cut it. Jean Marc happily have us the tools to cut it and was extremely helpful and sweet. Definitely employee of the month!

Brandon in lumber is very professional and was a great help to me and my project. Will be back to this location as long as Brandon works here that dude is awesome

Nasty experience at self check out... I was reaching for the scanner to start when a HD employee, i have no idea who she was, comes up to me out of nowhere and, uninitiated, starts telling me how to scan. I told her I knew how to do it and did not need her help. She then starts hissing at me what would chu do if you didnt have dis.. harassing me in nastiest way. It was utterly bizarre. I told her to please leave me alone, and she starts yelling at the other self check out employees taunting me loudly behind my back. Yes, harassing & bullying a customer while they are trying to buy merchandise - it has come to this. They lost about $250- in sales because of her. i left everything in the basket and walked out. It was outrageous.. it was like she was harassing me because I was using self check out instead of a cashier. I have no idea why she came up to me, why she started harassing me but she should not be working there.

Everything very organized very well

Deniz in the Garden Center is the best! I am new to plants and went on a Saturday and the following Sunday to pick out plants to fill my home and balcony. Deniz just emits positivity and a warmth. She was super helpful and when I opened up about not knowing anything about plants, she walked me through the things to do and helped me pick out pots. I thought I would exclusively choose local nurseries but with staff like her, I will definitely be returning. Side note, another coworker named Tim was extremely knowledgable about how to take care of the palms I bought and gave great advice! What a team at this store!
