Xpress Brakes did a great job on fixing my Hyndaui Elantra. Anthony was very communicative, honest and straightforward with what my car needed. He didn’t try and upsell me and actually clarified that some things actually didn’t need to be repaired, even though a previous mechanic (auto shop) had said that they did. He came to my home, fixed my car in a timely manner and thoroughly explained everything that he was doing and what my car did and didn’t need. I would highly recommend him and his expert services.

I live in an old art deco building in Koreatown and our underground parking is cramped with low clearance. When my car wouldn't start (and battery was fine) and I needed a tow to a mechanic, the tow truck guy could not fit into my garage. After briefly panicking, I found mention of Anthony on a reddit post and reached out to him immediately. Let me just say, I am incredibly impressed by his knowledge, his professionalism and his work! I am so glad I saw that reddit post and called him. He came to me and he fixed my car, no towing to a mechanic needed! (The problem ended up being the brake sensor switch FYI) Anthony went above and beyond and I have already told several friends and neighbors about him. He may be a brake specialist but he is a certified master mechanic and knows a lot about a lot! He's responsive, a great communicator, generous with his time. Seriously, Anthony is a game changer.
Anthony is… amazing. See, i was really skeptical when i first needed to find a mobile mechanic. Called tons of mechanics, and they all told me to get lost. But Anthony… he was different. He eased my sense of rejection by assuring he’d fix my car problems, no matter how large or small. There was never a problem that was too big for him to solve, he said! And it was true. Anthony was awesome & very communicative. As someone who is not very car-savvy, he made the entire process so easy and convenient. I requested a pre-purchase inspection for a used car, but I was worried that there might be a problem since I wouldn't be able to make it to the scheduled appointment. Anthony said no problem and was able to coordinate with the car seller to get the PPI done, all without me actually being there. He was communicative throughout the entire process with both me & the seller, which I greatly appreciate. After the PPI, he sent me a thorough report of the findings and gave me some useful advice as well. Highly recommend! Thank you Anthony!
Xpress Brakes is an amazing service. I reached out over the Labor Day weekend thinking I wouldn’t hear anything until Tuesday after Labor Day. I received a prompt response text asking for some additional details regarding the issue. I was then contacted by Anthony and we worked through a troubleshooting measure to see if that may resolve the issue. When the troubleshooting did not resolve the issue. Anthony setup my appointment and communicated timelines for arrival from the very start. Anthony was prompt and went through a few additional diagnostic steps and then completed the repairs while having to run out and grab some additional lines. I’ll add that the location of the vehicle made repairs challenging as it was located on the lower level of the apartment’s parking deck. All I can say is thank you Anthony for your work, detailed explanation, and overall cool demeanor.

I was impressed by the communication before and during the brake repair, as well as the attention to detail and explanation of what needed to be done. Getting the repair done without having to leave home and not having to drive on grinding brakes was very convenient and definitely a safer option. Will use again in the future any time I need a mobile mechanic!
Maintained good communication, arrived on time, and was able to diagnose and fix an electrical issue that had been plaguing me for a long time as well as replace rear brake drums. Didnt attempt to upsell me on things I didnt need and his price estimate was accurate relative to the time the repair took.

My experience was very good. I explained my trouble the day before the appointment and based off of the mechanics experience arrived with the replacement parts. The price estimate was up front no surprises. The work was completed well before I came back home.
Prompt and courteous service. Reasonable prices. My car s check engine light was on and it passed the smog test once it was fixed. He also checked for other problems and gave me good advice. Anthony layer fixed another problem which was causing my car to shake. He explained the problem again, and fixed it at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with the service.

In this day and age finding professionalism and honesty in the auto repair industry is rare. Anthony is the exception. He has worked on 4 of my work vehicles and has done a fantastic job. Communicative , prompt and efficient. He was very flexible with availability and above all works clean- before , during and after. It s like having dealership service coming to you. Pricing is reasonable and quality is top notch. Why drive to a dealership or mechanic and waste time when you can have the luxury of sitting at home or at the office getting your car fixed at your convenience. Highly recommend.
Anthony was very professional. It was very easy to get a hold of him and schedule an appointment. His diagnostic report was very thorough and he provided several repair options. It was nice to have a complete understanding of what was wrong with my vehicle, and what most likely caused the problem.
Wonderful, methodical, and great attention to detail! Anthony thoroughly accomplished what I requested, but also paid attention to a very tiny fault on my car which could ve become a huge problem if they hadn t noticed. They have great customer service and updated me with Waze tracking so I could see how far from arriving they were. The electronic forms and detailed reports are superb as well! They were also very honest with me about the problem and didn t try to sugarcoat or up-charge me. The technology used to diagnose my car was also very advanced. I highly recommend them.

I met Anthony through a friend and after getting an estimate for a full brake job from an auto repair center my friend told me that Anthony could probably do it better and cheaper out of my driveway. I trusted my friend s judgment so I decided to give Anthony a try. I am glad I did. His estimate was below the repair shop s and he was personable, professional and prompt. He used top quality Subaru recommended parts for the job and the car runs great. Best of all, he is very clean and left no stains or any other sign that a car repair took place on my driveway. Anothny is a very skilled and knowledgable tech. He has many years of experience. My problem was unusual and electrical. He was able to find, trace down and fix these problems with out just buying parts and swapping them in. I cannot endorse this guy enough. J
This is exceptional service. Anthony actually came over to my house and took the car over the weekend. I was frustrated because the Chrysler dealer couldn t fix some issues happening. That s when I went to Xpress Brakes. The communication of the work needing to get done was crystal clear. He also completed the work exactly when and as he said he would. I can t recommend his repair services higher!!
I took my car to the dealership and they quoted me $4500 to fix the issue. They said it was a fluid leak of some sort and would have to take the engine apart to fix it so a lot of labor costs. Luckily, I found Anthony and he was able to diagnose the real issue and fixed it for a quarter of the price. I highly recommend him for his quality work and convenience as he can go to you. 5 stars
