J & A Auto & Truck Repair in Hollister

Their mobile mechanic Roberto was our miracle worker. After trying to replace lower control arms on our own, we realized we needed help. Called J&A and they sent Roberto out. He saved us! Awesome response time and professional.

Macario was extremely helpful and fixed my van on the spot as I had broke down and had AAA tow me to his shop. I was from out of town and he had my van fixed and safe for me to drive home later the same day!

Absolutely amazing service. I put in a request for a tow through AAA and waited hours (almost 5 hours) to get a tow because the other company was short staffed so my tow kept getting pushed back due to distance. This other company friendly towing never passed on the call & just kept me waiting. After so many calls to AAA they finally were able to get the other shop to pass the call & thats when J&A came to the rescue. Withing 20 minutes they showed up and towed my car an hour away with no issues. 10/10 recommend.

They waited in heavy traffic at 6am and towed my car. Very knowledgeable guy and reasonable price. They towed my car to their shop and fixed the issue in one day! Thank you J and A towing

1097.00 paid in full, three month’s of mostly parked services and my car still does not work! White smoke and it turns off while driving. Macario is a busy man with his towing service and mostly allows his nephew Manuel to do the auto work, although the auto certification are in Macario’s name… this business was a bust for me and I highly do not recommend it as Macario is not reliable! Use at your own risk $125.00 per hour is too much for services I received..

My daughter’s car broke down at 8pm on her way home. We called to get her car towed, they gave about a 30min pickup time, and Mac showed up in about 15. He was very friendly and professional, even more than that he was knowledgeable. He said what he thought it was and instead of towing it to my house offered to tow it to the shop. He called me the next morning confirming it was what he thought and gave an estimate that was fair and reasonable. I approved the repairs and he was done before 5pm the same day. The car drives like a dream once again!

I found J&A when I needed to flatbed tow a car I had purchased from it's location in Hollister to my house and I am SO glad I did! Macario was fantastic! Not only were his tow truck skills exceptional, he had to do some fancy rigging work to move the car because the steering system was locked up, but he was on time (early actually) and also quite friendly and professional. I only write reviews when someone has really earned it and Macario certainly has, I will absolutely use him again and I don't hesitate in recommending him. Thanks Macario!
