Les Schwab Tire Center in Hollister

Hollister CA was told a couple months ago my tires would no longer be under warranty because I needed struts and shocks. When I called for pricing today I decided to shop around. I was told to bring my car into a different car repair service in town. They did a complete check of my car and said "I DID NOT NEED STRUTS AND SHOCKS." So what is it, a ploy to end my warranty or to get money for unnecessary repairs. You think big businesses are honest with their, we go out of our way commercials. * Oh and I went to Les Schwab also today to get air because I had a warning low tire pressure on the dash. I asked the guy do you have to reset it once he was done? . He said "No it will go off when you drive awhile" when I got home I checked my manual and it said there is a reset button in the glove box. I'll never go near Les Schwab again.

Pricy, but good service. Also all their stuff has a warranty. Came in handy when I almost blew out my shocks Driving in the snow: they replaced the worn part at no cost.

all my tires needed air, they were really low. I walked in and asked how long the wait would be because I had to be at work in 40 min (I work out of town) and didn't feel safe driving like that, they had a lot of people waiting but they took me in right away I didn't wait at all. I've been here before in the past and they're all really friendly people

Place was busy and the manager was a little short with us. Got our service setup and we walked to the center nextdoor. We returned and our car was getting taken in by a tech. We were in need of tires but did not want to do it with the first encounter. The tech saw our blad tires and convinced us to get new ones. Was super nice and knowledgeable. Would have given one star if not for him. Said his name was bowen.

After having blown out a winter tire on I5, they were extremely courteous and helpful to get us in right away. They had the correct size tire (which we couldn’t find ANYWHERE else in the surrounding 60 mile radius) and got us in first thing to get it done! The facility had everything- even a kiddie table with drawing supplies for our 2 year old while we waited. Super grateful and pleased with the service. They went over and beyond! Highly recommend!

We've been going here since they opened and have been sold on their service and honesty after another shop down the street wanted to replace half the front end on my wife's car when all it needed was the front rotors turned. Not to mention Les Schwab always tries to fit us in even through we don't alway have an appointment. Fair, professional and reasonable. Always going above and beyond. None of this awesome service goes unnoticed or unappreciated by us. Not the cheapest shop, but given the quality of the work as well as the guarantees on it; again, simply very reasonable. Keep doing those free flat repairs because that's what hooked us as customers!

Went in because of an upper control arm issue and ball joints that they quoted me for but instead it turned out to be some loose bolts, saving me some serious dough! I can't believe the honesty, I mean wow. Jose , a very polite employee, explained that I simply didn't need all the parts they once thought I needed, so, thanks Les Schwab.... I guess. The only mention too was if me truck pulls to any direction then it might be due for an alignment. Drove it around town soon after I picked it up and it seems fine. I haven't gone higher than 50mph yet so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed Les Schwab took care of buisness. So far, I am a satisfied customer.

Please make sure to check your keys before entering this place!!! Manager Pat is very rude and unprofessional. I never write reviews, but my experience here was not excusable. We arrived for a tire patch and we left with A BROKEN KEY!! His excuse was that it was already broken/loose and that we already broke it and glued it together which isn’t true. You can see he turned on the car aggressively and broke the key. He didn’t let us know when he was checking the mileage nor when he took the car inside because he “assumed” we already knew. He should’ve let us know the key wasn't working because I didn’t, I drove there completely fine with no problems. Gave me no number to call or email, just said to look it up on their website. Will never go back! Will be telling family and friends to stay away.
