The cashier A on Saturday, March 8 at around 5:30 PM PT took my cash, entered the wrong number into the register, and then got confused. I handed him over $100 in cash and he only entered in half of that number. He was supposed to give me over $40 in change and only handed me 8 cents. I asked what happened and he panicked and handed me thirty dollars. He should have handed me another $6 after that but he seemed to already be confused after doing the numbers wrong a third time. I regret not counting it again before I left.
Anthony hooked us up with a great new battery and helped my disabled self get it installed. Its rly hard doing things one handed, glad to know O'Reilly has got my back with my car.
Worst customer service at this location. Old asian lady gave me attitude the whole time making sly comments and hiding behind her manager that said absolutely nothing about how this lady was talking. Making sly remarks hiding behind her monitor. She looked real dumbfounded when the manager found my order in their system that she refused to search for. Provided a confirmation for my order but my order still wasn't completed. The order was placed on 12/31/24 and was supposed to be completed on 1/6/25. I must have interrupted an important conversation as the lady refused to even check the confirmation number or look up the order that was placed. The manager looked up the order and was surprised to see that it was in the system. He was talking to her about how he didn't approve of the order to be completed when the items missing on my order was pulled from the shelf on their floor. I understand if you're unhappy with your bs job but there's no need to act out on a paying customer.
I recently purchased brake pads and rotors for my Toyota Camry from O'Reilly Auto Parts, and I had a great experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me find the right parts for my car, ensuring I got exactly what I needed. The quality of the brake pads and rotors was excellent—both parts fit perfectly, and I could tell they were built to last. O'Reilly also offered competitive prices, and I appreciated their rewards program, which saved me a bit on my purchase. Overall, I’m impressed with the customer service and the quality of the parts, and I’ll definitely return for future auto needs.
I had done an in person order which later came in a week later, the part unfortunately didn’t fit my car and sadly I had to return it. When I get there they ask for my information and the person helping us called a coworker (Luis)for a password, Luis comes up to us and rudely says to his coworker, “knew they were gonna return it” under his breath, I even asked if there was another style so we could purchase this, this made me honestly not wanna come back how can a place be so disrespectful to the person who are keeping them in business? Do better. Trying Autozone next time
The customer service is horrible. I tried to return an item that I didn't use and one of the workers laughed in my face saying that he couldn't give me my money back. When I purchased that item, the packaging was damaged and I never opened it to check it, thinking that I was buying an item in good condition trusting that if I needed to return it they would accept it without a problem because it was unused but the person who helped me was very arrogant and did not accept the item, I don't understand what happened I just wanted to return something that I didn't need. I will never buy anything from this place again.
Staff this Easter were very rude to my friend and I. I didn’t really see any customers, music seemed to be coming from the employees (pretty inappropriate music) & when I asked where to locate a specific tool, I was spoken to as if I were dumb. I had to leave without picking up what I needed. I don’t plan to go back unfortunately.
Saved me when i had a crazy car breakdown in Hayward. The caring, knowledgeable, supportive staff are really outstanding. I am especially thankful to Jesus, who did amazing problem-solving with me over a complex breakdown and helped me find all the right stuff while cheering me up a lot with his friendly & professional manner. Everything worked out perfectly (with lots of stories to tell for sure, lol, but perfectly). The exterior is shady, which is a big plus for an auto parts store. When you walk out of a parts store into bright sun, it can be subtly exhausting, adding to the stress of a broken vehicle. The shade here is appreciated. Selection at all auto parts stores seems to be a bit on the low side right now. That seems to be true everywhere. All in all I rate this location very highly, due to its overall vibe and awesome staff!!! Mahalo!
They recharged my battery
Just to show that it is a good parts store, they have quality parts, I bought everything to tune up my Toyota Sienna. I bought spark plugs, Ignition wire set, PCV valve and Carburator Cleaner, everything cost me 220 dollars and the best thing was there was staff who attended to you in Spanish :)

I purposely went there because I know that they have the tools to test a battery and or a starter problems because I was unsure of what the problem was with my car. The kid tested and found that it was the battery. I bought a new battery and asked to have it installed do to a resent surgery I was not able to carry the battery myself. I waited for 15 minutes for him to come out and then I had to go in and get tools to replace it myself. The whole thing took more than an hour, I could have bought the battery, came home,used my tools and brought the core back in less time. Its not the workers fault he is young and not trained at all. I think management has failed again use to be a good store.

The customer service was beyond excellent. I dont think I am exaggerating when I say he saved my life by helping me with my wiper blades on a Sunday when it was pouring rain and I had to drive to Sacramento from Hayward. Thanks you literally saved my life.

The area alone is skeptical. I was promised the part I needed would be ready for pick up by 5pm. First, waited 43 minutes before I was told the part was still at another store. Then, was told the part would be there by the next day. Why would I trust that? So glad AUTO ZONE is across the street! Went there. Part was 50% less as well. Better service. You lost a customer. THANKS AUTO ZONE off Jackson St in Hayward. Skip this location and head over to that WONDERFUL place across the street next to McDonalds

As a professional mechanic. I will say, theyll provide you with pretty much anything you need for your vehicle very professional staff although you might get someone that doesnt have a clue what you want... But just about every parts store have them... They should hire people who have at least a little knowledge of mechanic
