Jon and team are the best, period. I just had a routine service done for my 2021 Evora GT and they caught issues that dealerships I'd been to either missed, or worse, caused. I'm delighted I found these guys. It's no surprise that the LotusTalk forum sings Trackspec's praises loudly and uniformly. Prices are very reasonable, and the communication and invoicing are transparent and clear. Trackspec came highly recommended to me by a friend who really knows cars. I have a 2013 Tesla Model S 85 with 93k miles. In the last few years, I noticed a mild clunking noise in the rear drive train when I accelerated or slowed with regen. I took it to Tesla Fremont service and their diagnosis was that a torn motor mount bushing was the likely cause. Their recommended cure was to replace the complete drive unit with gearbox at $7,000! The rebuild drive unit has new bushings and I asked if the bushings could be replaced but they told me that they don’t do such work in service, only complete replacements. Not being happy with this answer I went looking for alternatives. After talking with Jon at Trackspec I decided to have them do the work of inspecting the rear drive assembly and replacing the front and rear bushings. I got the mounts from Tesla and the specified fluids for the job. Mike is the mechanic that worked on my car. Mike first decided to do some basic inspection before any heavy work and pointed out to me with a pry bar that my motor mounts were still very firm and solid and not a likely cause of the play and clunk noises. He removed the half shafts and found issues on both ends with some corrosion and a loose half shaft nut and evidence of wear from slippage. After proper reassembly and torque the rear drive train is completely silent and with no play. I’m really happy that this issue has been properly diagnosed and resolved after many years. The guys at Trackspec do great work and are very practical and easy to communicate with. Their shop is clean and well organized. I highly recommend them.

Jon and crew are fantastic. Jon made quick work of a tricky Caterham ride height and alignment setup, and sorted out a PCV vacuum leak issue in about 3 seconds. I live in Santa Cruz, and this shop is 100% worth the drive. Really knowledgeable crew, fast/efficient, friendly/personable, great value -- honestly, kind of a rare combination, these days....

I have brought my track only Lotus Elise to them for years now, whether it was for a yearly checkup, a full K-swap / sequential transmission & standalone ECU upgrade or other custom request. They've always delivered in style, with exemplary communication and responsiveness, and a very detailed focus work. To be honest, Jon's team has put the bar so high that it is almost unfair for everybody else.

Jon and his staff took great care of my car and made sure every detail was just right with fair pricing. They made sure to report any issue they ran into or noticed while working on the car so I knew about every step of the process. They even stayed past closing to finish my servicing since I drove a long way. Very satisfied and will definitely return if I ever need their services again

I have Trackspec hood vents on my GT2 Corvette and they do a fantastic job lowering my water temps by drawing more air through the radiator and the reduction in under-hood air pressure has reduced my high-speed understeer.
