Mario greeted me promptly when I drove up. The service was top notch and I was given all details of not only what they did but anything they suggested. Krista checked me out without any problems. Will definitely be back for my next oil change!!! Tried again and was just as impressed, great service and very attentive to my needs.

Said it would be 45 minutes. 2 hours later, we had to ask them to cancel the appointment, and only got an oil change. Dissatisfied to say the least.

The last two times I went with two different they never reset the oil life even tho paperwork said they reset it.

Nothing Speedee about it!! Over an hour and a half for an oil change! 40 mins of that waiting for an air filter. $150 !! I could ve/ should ve went to Walmart. Also the order form says i didn t need wipers when i clearly do. I didn t bother to ask about it because at that point i was ready to go. I wanted to have a good experience at this location because it s so close to my house, but alas, I did not and will never go Again.

This location has new management that really goes the distance to ensure the best oil change and correct diagnostic findings. I highly recommend this place for new customers. Especially women who have lnow knowledge of car maintenance. You can trust them. The new manager Andre is very kind and understanding and cares about his customers.

The oil change person was very rude and condescending. when they did a tune up they left tools in the engine area and a bolt fell out when we parked. We had to take it back in. Probably will not use this place again

This review is specifically for Brandon the on site mechanic. He is honest fair and extremely competent. He understands that folks like me are on a tight budget and works with hard to keep his customers on the road without gouging you for every Nickle nd dime. I have a 2007 Ford f150 that was running really ruff . He broke down repairs into chunks I could afford and now my truck is running as good as new. I trust Brandon with my familys fleet knowing the work he does is exceptional. Ive always gotten oil changes and routine maintenance here at speedy on dewey. I ve been going to Speedee for years! I ve always had wonderful service. When I had an oil leak and power steering leak, I couldn t afford to fix them both., they provided free fluids top off. I went in bi weekly until I could afford the repair and every time they checked the fluids effortlessly! They seem to have a steady turnover, but I still can t complain about the service! I referred them to several friends. Thanks Speedee! I ll be back to get brakes done!

They broke my oil filter housing section. They took over a week to remedy it. They falsified time frame of remedy the repair. They left oil stains on carpet driver side carpet, steering wheel & head liner.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to your Speedee location. I have been a loyal customer of your establishment for over six years and have always trusted your team with my vehicle maintenance. However, my most recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. Upon arrival, I was informed by the technician, Andre, that the oil in my car was thick like syrup and that an oil cleaner was necessary to clear it out for an additional $20. I found this recommendation surprising, as I have never been advised to use an oil cleaner before, despite my car being only five years old with less than 60,000 miles on it. Andre also suggested that the color of the oil indicated that my engine might be burning oil. When I examined the oil sample he showed me, it appeared to be regular, dirty oil that needed changing, and nothing more.I was told that there were no cons to using the oil cleaner, so I reluctantly agreed to the service. Here are the issues I encountered after the service. First, the technician failed to place a new oil change sticker in my vehicle, which I had to request. Then, the following day, I discovered that my skid plate was dragging on the ground, held together by only two clips. Additionally, there was oil leaking from the oil filter, indicating that it had not been properly tightened. I had to purchase clips from multiple stores and pay another shop to reattach the skid plate, which was an unnecessary inconvenience. My skid plate was fully intact prior to my visit to Speedee, and no one mentioned any issues with missing parts before or after the service. I contacted your shop and spoke to Krista, informing her of the situation and requesting a full refund for the oil change. Krista informed me that refunds could only be processed in person, which was a significant inconvenience as I live 30 minutes away from your location. Despite this, I made the trip the next day, only to experience poor customer service again. The front desk staff failed to communicate clearly about the refund process, and I was eventually told that I could only receive a refund in cash. I did receive a cash refund, however, I was not reimbursed for the $3+ processing fee incurred from paying with my card. Overall, this experience was far from the standard I have come to expect from Speedee. The upselling of unnecessary products, the poor workmanship, and the lack of accountability from your staff have left me extremely disappointed. As a loyal customer, I feel that my trust has been violated, and I will not be returning to your location for any future services. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and address the issues within your team to prevent other customers from experiencing similar problems.

This is a fantastic location. As a woman, I am weary of going places to get my car serviced and being treated poorly or as if I am a naive idiot. Every single time I have come here to get my oil changed I am treated with respect and I have never gotten the feeling of trying to be scammed into services or parts I dont need. I am willing to drive past other shops that are closer to my house just so I can feel secure that my car is being serviced by people that are kind and considerate.

Been coming to this location for several years. Wanted to shout out. Went in for a belt replacement and the mechanic inspected the car, and explained that the belt was not the issue. Honest and looks out for customer. highly recommend.

The slowest oil change I have ever had. 1 person ahead of me, and it took nearly 2hrs. 6 people running around like crazy, but nothing was happening. I go to places like these to get done quickly. If I wanted to spend 1/2 the morning somewhere, I wouldve wasted my time at a dealer. Not going back. BTW, thanks for sending me the text msg to give you a 5 star review. If it wasnt for that, I wouldve just avoided your establishment, and not said anything.

These ppl charged me 60 dollars for labor 20 min oil change total was $108. I ve never paid so much in all my history of getting an oil change and I always have gotten synthetic. They were very SpeeDee though

Update based on the business reply 6/27/24: I am not new to oil changes. I have been getting them done for over 25 years, NEVER once has my car died during, or afterwards. Even when I had a less reliable vehicle!! If this is a common occurance at your place of business thats concerning. As far as the comment on my 2019 old battery: It hadnt died prior to coming to get my oil changed, and it hasnt since I left. Did I have it changed, or charged, NOPE. Frankly, I dont believe my Honda died at all while I was there. I have never had an oil change place test my battery while I waited for an oil chage PERIOD. Had I known this was all occurring INSTEAD of my oil being changed, I would have stopped you and left! While I understand being short staffed, I dont understand the lack of commmunication. Maybe keep us as customers in the loop. Maybe Id have chosen to try again another day. Original review: I went to get my oil changed on my lunch break, hence the name Speedee, I assumed I would be in and out pretty quickly. My lunch is an hour long, and it is a ten minute drive to get to the location. It looked promising at first. There wasnt a long line, and the attendant came to the car side very quickly. From there, the service was slow without updates along the way as to why. I had been there for over 30 mins before they had even started to drain my oil! I was approached shortly after that with dirty cabin and oil filters and the question of whether or not I wanted them to be replaced. I told them to go ahead and replace them but that I was in a hurry and on my lunch break. They did not have the cabin air filter in stock but said they could get it in by the end of my visit...? I was very confused by this since I was already almost an hour into my lunch. I told them I would have to come back another time for the cabin air filter. Again, I reminded them I was running late on my lunch and couldnt wait much longer. The attendant went back out to finish changing the filters and then came back in about ten minutes later holding a battery reader! Now the guy tells me that my car has died, in the time waiting? He said theyve had to jump it. He went on to show me that my battery was only fifty percent charged and added that I probably was sold an old battery from autozone (where I purchased it less than two years ago). I told him Ive not had any problems with my car starting. Which is the truth! My car is very good about letting me know when something is not working correctly! Ultimately, before I was finally checked out and able to get back to work, they claimed that it died once more! By now, im pretty stressed out by what was supposed to be a standard right on time oil change. He also went on to ask me at this point if I wanted him to skip airing up my tires and cleaning my windshield since I need to get back to work soon. I told him at this point Im already late, so you may as well do it. When I got back to work, I was paranoid and kept going out every hour to start my car, and it started every time! I dont know what theyre trying to pull over there, but I was not impressed and will never be going back! I know from my usual mechanic that I go to that my brakes are running pretty thin, and they could have recommended replacing those. THAT would have made sense , but the battery thing made no sense. I dont even think the brakes were checked.

I have a car max warranty and scheduled an appointment with this place because they showed up as an approved vendor under repair pal. When I showed up, Krista appeared utterly confused, stating they don t do appointments and had no idea what I was talking about. She had to call her boss to figure out what to do. If a place is going to be an approved vendor all staff should be aware. Spoke to the manager, he advised they don t do appointments. It s a first come first serve process.

Let me start by saying Ive been going here for 8 + years. Always had great service. always treated right with a fair price. Today, I go in and a young man named Ethan manages to destroy 8 years of reputation in 5 minutes. Super rude; doesnt come in and verify after reviewing my vehicle that I accept the terms of what things cost and proceeds to speak to me like Im a second-class citizen. I did not authorized to do the service, I authorized to do the inspection ( first signature). by that time my truck was already pulled out of the Bay and I was informed I would be paying $30+ more than I would have normally paid in the past? Doesnt this come before you start the service? Most youth these days have no concept of respect or customer service. Being a business owner myself, its a single most important thing we can do to show people we appreciate their business and respect them has clients. Disappointed, BMFR

Ive been going to this SpeeDee for years. They are friendly, honest and fair.

Took my car to Speedee on the 27th for oil change and tire rotation. Mechanic not on duty for rotation. Ok, fair enough. I asked when the mechanic is working. Tuesday thru Saturday 8:30 to 5. Take my other car in today for the exact service and I m told oh that s not gonna happen why not? Because our mechanic works until 3:30 pm. Well I was told 2 days ago something different. Why don t you come back tomorrow at an earlier time. I m the customer, I don t fit my schedule to suit any business when they re open . Also, one hour before closing and no customers in front of me. A 30 minute at best to complete the job. Well I guess there are more things important than customer service in this world. I ve taken all my vehicles here over the past 6 years and never was treated this way. So I bid you adieu and now will be going to your competitor as of today. You may consider this a shallow complaint, however, I do not.

No problem speedy service great attitude

Went in for replacement headlight, wrapped up in about 30-40 min, even with part delivered to the shop in 20 min. Shop tech was nice, kept me informed, and did excellent work! Happy to come back soon!

The techs did a great job. I needed to have the serpentine belt replaced and the thing was so stubborn it took the tech s about 3 hours to complete. Kudos for them not giving up. I always get outstanding customer service at the Dewey location.

It appears to be under new management from the last time I was there. I had to wait over an hour and a half for an oil change due to my oil for the Bmw was the specific brand and they didn t have any on hand other than that great service..

This place is not cheap for an oil change.

Ripped my splash guard off and didn t tell me about it. Asked the staff about it and no accountability was taken. Tech who did the work have a smug response and then went back into the service bay. $112 for an oil change is already a lot, usually get it done for $70 at the dealership and they do a much more professional job. Service tech Miguel will rip your car apart like it doesn t matter, can only imagine how many cars he s done this to.

I started to take my Audi here for oil changes, and they have done an amazing job. Also, they do some complimentary services that are pretty awesome!!

Came in for an oil change. Staff was friendly, pricing was upfront and on par with other places Ive been too, but they have coupons on their website that the other places dont. They were a little busy, but the turn around time was still pretty good.

The staff is obnoxious and unprofessional. They made inappropriate comments to me and could not help with the issue I had.

I went into the speedy location on a Sunday afternoon with my eight year old daughter. There were about four cars ahead of us in line and we weren t sure how long the wait was going to be, so he went inside to speak to the manager Cornell. He politely informed me that would be about an hour and when I mentioned, I didn t know if I could wait that long because my daughter, he graciously offered to drive us back to our house so that we didn t have to wait. He drove us home in his personal car, and when everything was finished, within an hour, he called us and told us it was ready. I cannot believe his generosity and him going out of that way for me and my family, just to help mom out. I will continue to go to this location just to work with Cornell and his team.

This is the third time within a year that they ve let me know I don t actually need an oil change, despite the indicator having been on for months before I bring it in. I so greatly appreciate that they re honest about this and not charging me for services I don t need. The staff have always been courteous and answered my questions thoroughly. Rochelle in particular is so cheerful and helpful.

So I got my spark plugs changed recently and I found out that this company put the wrong spark plugs in my car back in 2020. I find that to be very weird that I spent a lot of money that day for them to put the wrong parts in my car please do not go to this place for any type of tune up services.

Never take your vehicle here for an oil change atleast took my Toyota Rav4 here assuming it would be cheaper then my usual $75 Chevron 15min drive through oil change. But boy was I wrong!!! I waited one hour for a $106 after taxes basic four cylinder oil change! These are some snakes here

We loved this place cause we were able to bring our own oil and they would change it for a fee. Well we wont be going back there no more well find somewhere else. My Son says theyre under new management so well find somewhere else. Money hungry people.

Terrible Phone Customer Service

I went here for oil changes for the past 4 years. It used to be excellent but the ownership recently changed. They said they no longer stock the synthetic 5w30 oil for my car. I told them that s fine, since I brought the oil and filter for them to use, but they told me to go somewhere else. I wouldn t recommend this place anymore. Edit: I m a bit perplexed by the response. If I bring my own oil, why does it matter whether you choose to stock it or not? I don t need an analogy about how supply and demand work. Just use the oil provided by the customer.

I am very impressed by the service I received here. It was my first visit for an oil change, and I had questions about other services I might need. They were very quick and efficient, and honestly told me what I needed to have repaired, and what I didnt. I will definitely go to this SpeeDee center again.

Great service. I went in at a busy time so my wait was about 2 hours but it wasnt bad at all. The waiting area is cozy, the prices are comparable and the employees are friendly.

This was honestly the worst experience Ive ever had at an auto service place in my entire life. I took off work today to get a smog check and arrived at 8am. The manager said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. My vehicle was sitting in the vehicle bay for 45 minutes before I finally asked them what was going on and they said they wouldnt be able to do the smog check because their internet was down. They knew the internet was down the entire time I was there because I heard them talking about it. An hour wasted. They told me to come back later. I had to send my wife later because I was at work, and I even called to make sure that the internet was up and I could get my smog check. So my wife drove all the way over there and they turned her away because the two guys that do smog checks were at lunch and wouldnt be back for an hour. I called them back to ask why they told me everything was ready to go, they said well, they werent at lunch when you called. This place is an absolute joke, folks. Dont bother.

Negative stars if it was possible. Horrendous service that is borderline a scam. Came in for a tire rotation and to replace 3 to 4 bolts. After TWO days (some speedy help) they finally charge me about $300 for parts and labor because apparently 16 out of 20 of my bolts were stripped. Spoke to two different people who both confirmed my rotation was happening. THEY NEVER ROTATED MY TIRES. No assistance with our terrible service. Tried phone calls and emails to reach management, never any response. DO NOT RECOMMEND. **it has been another month and I still have received no help, check elsewhere folks when car assistance is needed.**

I had recently replaced the radiator in my car and the car was running hot. I took it to speeDee oil change and they ran a diagnostic and tested the cooling system. I do not advise anyone to go to this workers there, they do not have any experience in changing the brakes, they have disabled my car and their behavior is very bad with customers

I paid $55 to them for nothing, but they made a lite plug-in engine in my car after going to the dealer. It turned out that they cut some cables when they replaced the brake pad. I dont know where they are.

Went for a oil change, had bad experience there. Beware and ask what did they really do on your vehicle . Poor service

Best service Ive ever had getting an oil change service. Everyone is so efficient and friendly! Will definitely go back here for all of my future car services!

I m not sure what was behind the mechanics curiosity but the brake fluid fingerprints were all over passengers seat and a glove box.

I bring several vehicles to this location. Today is my last however. I came in to drop my car off, and requested an oil change, wipers, and tire rotation. The technician informed me he didnt time for the tire rotation. This was at 12:30, and I informed him I would leave it all day. I use to be a technician and understand rotating tires is not ideal, but this was ridiculous. He mentioned the reason was the mechanic was busy all day, and there was one other vehicle in the shop. I went in to proceed dropping the car off, frustrated with the news. The young lady cashier was busy on her phone, and when I told her I needed to drop my car off, she told me to have a seat. Im not sure what happened to customer service. As a customer I felt I was inconveniencing the tech and cashier. Very frustrating experience.

I came in worried about my oil but Mr. Niles came quickly and help me right away and was very great and hospitality is nice. Thank you Staff and much appreciated you Niles

Car was in shop for 3 days simple power steering pump replacement and cv boot repair never fixed pump.After taking to dealer power steering fluid all over engine and boot repair which I charged was not done righ transmission fluid a over bottom of car. So think I should get a refund for the 450.00 spent on axile..
