I would not recommend Kidwells for window tinting services. I had my windows tinted by them 6 years ago, and about 6 months ago, the tint on the rear window began to bubble. This bubbling has continued to worsen, so I contacted them to inquire about the warranty. I was advised that I would need to provide my original receipt, and they would "see" what they could do. I lost virtually all of my documents in a move, so I asked if they kept records for their business. The person I spoke with danced around the subject and eventually stated again that I need my receipt. It was clear he didn't want to assist me. It's worth mentioning that during the time I've had this tint, I have parked under a carport all day. It hasn't been sitting in the sun. My previous vehicle was tinted by another company, and in 12 years of parking that car in the sun, my tint was still in perfect condition. This leads me to conclude that the bubbling issue from Kidwells tinting is due to poor installation. I will be having another company replace my tint and would advise others to avoid Kidwells for this service.

The folks at Kidwell have proven themselves to me over and over. They could have claimed that our issue with our cabinet door glass was not warranty but they instead took it own and were gracious to do so at no charge to us. Very friendly, very professional and clearly stand behind their work.

Subject: Disappointing Experience with Kidswell - Lack of Professionalism I rarely find myself compelled to leave reviews, but Kidswell Auto Glass left me with no choice due to a distinct lack of professionalism throughout the entire process. As someone well-versed in the automotive industry, having managed my own shops for several years, two-hours to their facility based on assurances from the owner that they could handle a specific job – the replacement of two curved laminated glass door panels for a '65 El Camino. Prior to my visit, I had communicated with the owner, providing text messages and images detailing the specific requirements of the job. It was made clear that this type of glass work is not commonly undertaken by most glass shops. Nevertheless, the owner asserted that he could manage the task, prompting me to drop off the original glass for the purpose of creating accurate mock-ups. Couple weeks later I followed up, complete lack of communication. Calls and texts to the owner's cell phone went unanswered, and when I contacted the shop, Marie, who was seemingly the only point of contact, could only take messages. My efforts to follow up persisted over the course of a couple of weeks, with no response received. In the end, two months passed without any acknowledgment from Kidswell Auto Glass regarding the status of my project. This lack of communication, coupled with the owner's failure to inform me that the job was beyond their capabilities, resulted in an unnecessary delay to my project. It's essential to note that I would have understood if the job proved challenging or unfeasible, but the complete absence of any effort to notify me of this was both unprofessional and inconsiderate. Yesterday, I retrieved my glass from Kidswell and, fortunately, found an alternative solution at another Bay Area shop that not only could handle the job but also communicated effectively throughout the process. I reluctantly award Kidswell Auto Glass two stars, primarily due to the courteousness of Marie; otherwise, this experience would have warranted a one-star rating. In business, honesty and transparency are paramount, and unfortunately, Kidswell Auto Glass fell short in delivering on these principles.

Took longer than expected Gave a discount then made me pay the discount back at the end Didn't finish the job the way they said they would Unprofessional when it come to coming out in a timely manner. Scheduled for 2 days showed up for a total of 7 hours for 2 days, had to come back on. Saturday to finish the job Seemed unorganized

My go to for all my residential glass needs. These guys do it all well and do it with integrity. Been using them for years. The owner Dan is an all around great guy who works hard to keep his customers happy. This place will always have my business.

I called and had questions about getting my window fixed. I spoke to a really nice woman who answered all my questions and was so helpful. It was nice to get a follow up call from Dan. I took my car in right away and they were able to fix my windows for a great deal and did it in under 30 minutes. I highly recommend them. A friend recommended me and they are wonderful, affordable, friendly!
