Mike's Auto Repair in Elkhorn

What a rip off this place. Brought my truck in to have an estimate done for my rear pinion seal was leaking and didn't want to do it myself they said the front was bad too and they quoted me almost seven thousand dollars to do the repairs where the average cost to do this is $400 per differential so front and back about $1000. No idea where they were getting their prices from but that's insane. I've been a mechanic my whole life and I've never charged more than 500 to do a pinion seal

Service was completed in a timely manner. The repair quote was informative and the bill matched the repair quote. Cody was great to work with.

I brought my car in to find out what was wrong with it. They charged me 150 dollars for a diagnosis. The man at the desk disappeared and was no where to be found. It took almost two hours to find the problem. Then the front desk man broght me a bill for almost 4000 to repair the car. I then brought it down the street the mechanic called them crooks. He quoted me the same work for 1900. This place is horrible never again.

Couldn’t have been happier with the service I got from Mike’s on short notice. They towed my vehicle from another repair shop on Wednesday at 1pm, started the work on Thursday morning and had my alternator replaced by 4pm on Friday in time for camping. All for hundreds less than the well-know repair shop in Delavan. Couldn’t have been happier!

I'd strongly echo the other positive reviews of Mike's Auto Repair: fair prices, honest estimates, helpful suggestions without pressure, and excellent work. Plus, they go the extra mile--my repaired car was driven back to my home when I was unable to get a ride to the repair shop. They listen--and respond--to customers. Not always the case with businesses these days. Great service!

Mike's Auto was fantastic. I'm from out of town and come up to the area quite a bit. My tire pressure sensor went off and I found Mike's on Google. Their reviews are great! Todd was a pleasure to work with. I called prior to see if they had capacity to look at a possible tire for repair. Todd got me in right away and I was out within 30 minutes. I'll definitely be back to Mike's! Thanks again Todd!

I can't even begin to thank Mike's properly. The quality of Customer Service and professionalism went above and beyond, more like it used to be in the olden days, harder to find places like this. Shout out to Seth for keeping us informed all along our repair. The guys at the front desk and the rest of the crew, all very professional and helpful. It has been a long time since I've been to a shop like this. Quality of work, A+. Price, extremely fair. Even the customers coming in to pick up their cars seemed happy to be walking in. I'll be back.
