My son took his car in for an alignment. When he got it back his car it was all over the road. He took it back in and they told him the ball joint on the opposite side was bad. I wasn't sure why they had not caught it when they aligned it the 1st time. I went with him to pick up the car to have someone else replace the control arm with the bad ball joint. I asked the gentleman at the front desk how they could align it with a bad ball joint and suddenly I'm being told to "stop yelling at me or I'm done". The mechanic came out from the back and he explained it was a bushing on the control arm, that was how it aligned and the bushing dropped after the alignment. I'm not sure why I was accused of yelling at someone when I was asking an honest question. We have used Havers in the past and NEVER got this kind of customer service. It makes me wonder if others have come back in and yelled about a problem and that's why he's so defensive. Never again!

Came in for an alignment, was first quoted 3 times the price for an alignment at a comparable shop. When I ask him to explain why they charge 3 times the average cost for an alignment, the front desk guy got defensive and told me to leave. It’s very rare to see this type of unprofessionalism in a service industry, but based off what I’m seeing in the reviews this is normal for Havers to overcharge and perform subpar service.

Bud and Abby are so helpful and friendly. We had an issue starting our Honda CRZ in the negative temperatures, and they got right to the heart of the matter, even researching possibilities, and got us back on the road promptly and affordably. We will definitely have both of our vehicles serviced at Haver's Gretna, and we feel fortunate to have them to take care of our automotive maintenance and repair needs.

I have used this business in the past for some brake and oil maintenance and they have always been great up until now. I had some engine issues and called immediately to schedule an appointment because they are typically reliable. I was told on Monday that earliest availability is Friday. After checking my schedule I called back and the person on the phone confirmed I was in the books and had an appointment. I found it strange they didn’t ask for any info but I figured my phone number might have brought up my account or I would give them info day of. I call back today (Wednesday) to double check they had my details and appointment since I would be doing night drop off. Come to find out they have no appointment for me and none of the employees have any recognition of my call or issue despite my multiple confirmation calls that assured me they have what they need. The next earliest availability is a week from today which causes many more problems for me. I am now facing the consequences of a mistake they made with no intention of upholding the original appointment. If it was one or two days later I could manage but expecting me to wait another week is just unreasonable. As much as I have loved Havers in the past it’s safe to say I will not be going back in the future.

I have recommended Haver's to literally hundreds of people. They are the consummate professionals when it comes to auto repair. How long have I and my family been using them? Since the 60's. My dad took all his cars there and I've taken all my cars and trucks there. I simply would not trust anyone else to give me an honest appraisal of the work that needs to be done, and to do the work with skill and professionalism. They will not do something to your car that absolutely does not need to be done - and they will find the best, least expensive parts to get your vehicle running at 100% again. I could go on forever about the Haver family, but go there yourself and find out. You won't be disappointed!

They stood out as probably the best auto place I've ever used. They were really quick, called to give updates on the status of the car, and when they told me the issues they walked me through it so clearly by comparing the car parts to how our body works and the effect each part has on the other. They really exuded genuine kindness and professionalism. They also were transparent in what needed to be fixed right away and how long I could hold on the rest of the repairs. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a customer for life. We're about to move 30 min away but I'll make the drive to use their services.
