Traveling from Oregon, transmission overheated in LA area, pulling a 17K fifthwheel, 68rfe group recommended SD Transmission in El Cajon. Vanessa was very knowledgeable on the 68rfe, I brought truck into their shop and they ran a diagnostic test, no problem codes, dropped the pan, no debris or clutch material, had them perform service, changed filters using OEM filters. So instead of an $8K rebuild, it's a $600 service. I would and will recommended them for their knowledge and honesty. Towed the 17K fifthwheel home to Oregon thru the Grapevine and Siskou's with no problem, over 1300 miles total. Thanks SD transmission
They're really helpful they did a great job fixing my speedo the drive gear in the transmission was bad and they found it South Dakota they really did a great job. I would recommend San Diego transmission.
I strictly came here due to the reviews. And here I am to uphold that review. These guys ( and gals) are wonderful. They quoted me on a few things which we agreed to, but ended up calling me to let me know everything actually looked really good. They could have charged me anyway but were very honest and did not rip me off. I’d definitely recommend to my friend and family. They are family owned which I love. Thank you SD transmission.

Great shop. They have been great to me. Needed a transmission for my truck and was able to tell them what I wanted and needed and they built a beast of a transmission for my daily driver. Any issues I had they were just a call away. Fast response times and great customer service from this family owned business.
