Artz Transmission in Ceres

NOT Happy overall. Had to get 2014 Silverado Trans Rebuild, Not Cheap... But 6 months in, Torque Converter went bad. They fixed it under 1 year warranty; No issues. But AGAIN just before 1 year warranty went out, the Torque Converter went bad again! I was still within the 1 year warranty, but He said " I would have to pay the $1800 labor to fix it, because its too much labor the re-do it again" I said it was still under warranty. He just basically said call to make an appointment for us to replace the bad part; Again! but i would be paying it. So i took my business else where. The had used a new torque converter and used the latest programming available for my truck. Tranny runs great now! I was willing to pay $2500 with another shop to get it right. Who knows if they would of done it right the third time.

He is very reasonable and knowledgeable. Fast turn around. And stays close to the estimate

I trusted the mechanic right from the get go very helpful with my car I paid an arm and leg for my transmission but worth it in the end I would definitely recommend this shop

Took my 2004 GMC Yukon for transmission problem about 1yr ago charged me $2,350 for a rebuild transmission. Came to find out it was just one pulled out of a junk yard because it started leaking oil from oil pan and now it won’t go in reverse.

Got my ‘92 Toyota pickup transmission rebuilt for $1500. There were other places in the area that gave me estimates of $1800+ and even one of $1300 but this shop looked more professional then the cheapest estimates shop. I don’t mind paying a bit extra to have my transmission done right. It’s been 4 months now even though they been delaying my mandatory 3 month check up and transmission oil change to keep the 1yr warranty but it’s do to their busy work schedule and mine the truck runs great. I looked underneath and they took the time to clean the transmission case, looks brand new. All shifts go in good and the overdrive works like it should, as I drive on the freeway i give it more gas and it drops gear to accelerate like it should. A few years ago I took my 1987 Ford F-150 in to get my brake booster and master cylinder replaced. After the $400 repair I got in the truck and the brakes still slammed to the floor. There was no improvement at all. They told me I needed to get my brakes bleeded to remove the air. They declined to do it for me even though I payed them already. I went to another mechanic shop and they bled my brakes and the problem was still there. I contacted them and they pretty much told me sorry there’s nothing they can do. Don’t bring your car to this trash of a shop.
