Great service at Wheel Works! They fixed my tire quickly and efficiently. Micheal, the store manager, and the technician who worked on my car were professional. Highly recommend!

Lets just start by saying, it was a rainy and windy day in Belmont. I was having a terrible week, and my car had been making noise all week. Well, today it finally decided to pop! I guess one of my tires hugged a nail. GREAT! I happened to make it just far enough to this Wheel Works and was not looking forward to the exchange But the store manager there, Michael was pure class. He listened and understood the situation, quickly looked up the car make, the correct tire, and fit me into his schedule.; all while smiling delivering jokes. Would recommend just for Michael alone! (Very awesome looking guy) WOW

Had a really good experience at Wheelworks Belmont recently. The new manager is on the ball.

Open on Sunday. I made a phone appointment and when I called to confirm it was on their schedule. Started and finished timely. Comfortable waiting area. But the toilet paper was in the waiting area, not in the toilet where it was needed.

Unprofessional, rude even toxic personnel. Absolutely not recommended!

I called for an appointment for a lifetime front alignment and tire rotation. I also requested an inspection. I was called after a couple of hours when the work was completed. I was satisfied and had a good experience with this shop in Belmont.

I have only had positive experiences at WheelWorks Belmont! Professional, communicative, and prompt. I got a pair of my tires replaced - at two separate times - and have been pleased with the results.

I love this place. The new manager is incredibly friendly and knows what hes talking about when it comes to cars. After fixing an electrical issue with my car, he took it for a drive to make sure the problem was resolved when he heard a loud noise coming from my rear right wheel. No one has been able to figure out what that sound was for the past six months but he diagnosed it in no time and finally got it repaired. Thank you guys for all your help!

I was impressed with Wheel Works (Belmont location) during my recent visit. They were incredibly helpful and thorough in diagnosing the issue with my car. The manager was friendly and explained everything clearly. While theyre clearly in high demand, which means a bit of a wait, Id definitely recommend them for their expertise and honest service.

My car had an oil leak after having my oil changed at Wheel Works a week or two earlier. It turned out that the seal on the oil filter had failed. When I brought it back, they had my car done within an hour at no charge, replacing the filter and topping up the oil.

I can t say it s not good or very good. There are too few technicians, only one mechanic and one front desk. It takes a long time to wait, which will test your patience. The advertisement says that front and rear tire swaps are free, but front and rear tire swaps are required when purchasing tires. Pay

Needed a flat tire patch. I called, told 15-20 min wait. I came in, took 25 min. Great, fast service, very much appreciated.

Solid Wheel Works branch. Super friendly manager and staff. They fix your tires fast, and with a smile. No more description needed. This has now become my go-to with the Les Schwab down the street closing down.

AWESOME car service and customer service! I got my car new tires and an oil change and it was easy and fast. The price was great and Mike was amazing. He helped make the visit easy and his team was super nice. I love the location too because if you get bored waiting in the lounge, you can walk to get some food at the IHop/McDonalds or go to the mall. I definitely will be back for my car breaks and for my husbands truck.Thanks guys!!!

So Im leaving this review to make people aware of my experience. So one day I came in at 5 oclock. I believe it was like on a Tuesday to get an alignment and an oil change when I pulled up. The parking lot was completely empty so I thought I was good right. I go inside and the guy tells me that they cant take care of me because the technician is leaving for the day so theyre closing early so I was like OK cool I went to called corporate the next day corporate took my complaint and forwarded right back to the same location in Belmont. One of the guy named Eric called me and apologize and told me to come on in. He will take care of me so I go in to get my alignment and oil change when I come back Eric tells me that they were able to do the oil change however the alignment wasnt able to get done because something was frozen. Yes, he said something was frozen, which is not allowing them to do the alignment which Ive never heard of before keep in mind I have free alignment with Will works because I bought tires with them, and it was part of the package. Eric said that it would be $100 for each part coming to a total of $400. I was like bro Im good like Ive never even heard of that. I took it to another shop. They also confirm theyve never heard that saying before, so something is not adding up with this. Will works. I dont know if its because I made a complaint and now theyre just trying to like get over on me. Ill definitely not be going back there because who knows what theyre gonna do to my car right be aware of people of this location.

UPDATE 7/26/24: I am changing my original review from 1 to 5 stars because of the exceptional service I received from Eric at WheelWorks in Belmont, CA. Eric was welcoming, understanding, and provided clear explanations. Additionally, hes a true superhero. Despite the morning rush with about five customers waiting and being on his own, Eric remained calm and polite. He even managed to handle a delivery, helping to offload the truck, and professionally answered phone calls. Anyone who thinks theyre having a busy day should spend a day with Eric to truly appreciate the effort he puts into delivering honest, outstanding customer service! OLD Review: Known for quickly saying your tires need replacement. I don t find them ethical and forthcoming. I took my car for a second opinion and they said my tires were fine. Don t let them force you into tire replacement! Update 01/08/2020: I made an online reservation for wheel alignment (8am). I arrived at 7:55am and was greeted by a miserable and rude service adviser (this guy should not be in a customer facing role). I watch for an hour as my vehicle just sat there. This is just terrible service!! Bryce and Tony are always great though.

I have been an Americas Tire customer 35 years and a Firestone lifetime alignment for over 50 years. I bought lifetime alignment at the Belmont CA Wheel Works store and 2 tires. I get lifetime balancing and rotation at Americas Tire. Before I bought the tires at Wheel Works, I mentioned that fact and I would have to get tires balanced at 2 DIFFERENT TIRE STORES if I bought tires at the Belmont Wheel Works store. Manager lied to me and said no problem they would balance the other 2 tires from Americas Tire at no charge with the tires I bought at Belmont CA Wheel Works, so I gave it a shot. When I went to get my tires balanced the manager told me he would not keep his word, he lied to get my business. Americas will balance ALL FOUR of my tires, even Wheel Works Tires FOR FREE!!!... How stupid does the manager think I am? I need about $850 of repairs to my car, wife needs $1,200 of tires, son needs about $1,000 of tires. I would have gotten all of this done at the Belmont CA Wheel Works store until I found out the manager is a liar. I am not stupid enough to buy tires and go to 2 different places for balancing. Your loss $$$$. Honesty and integrity is very important. The manager lied to me to get business then made me look like I am a fool when I asked him to keep his word. I know cars, I know good service. Get your Tires at America Tires 5 STARS!!! and find another company to do the work on your car. Most dishonest manager I have worked with in over 50 years. The store is also very dirty inside, an indicator of the quality of the store manager.

Be sure to visit these guys if you like, wasting your time. I called at 10 AM to make an appointment for tire rotation. They told me they had a spot at 2 PM. I gave them the information of my vehicle which they did not previously have. I show up at 2 PM. They told me that they don t have any record of my appointment but then when I give him my phone number, he finds all the information for my truck. Then he proceeds to tell me that it ll be 2 to 3 hours. I ll have to wait. To see what the point of making an appointment is if that s how they look after you when you arrive.

Helped me out with flat tire awesome same day service

Even though I was 4 hours late for my scheduled appointment, they couldn t have been nicer. They performed courtesy rotate and balance of my tires (which is included when you buy your tires there) and identified only one very minor problem, and very honestly told me that if I had my tires rotated and balanced every 5k miles, it wouldn t be a problem.

I had an appointment for 10am. I got there early at 9:45. He said it was going to take 2-3 hours even with the appointment. The car wasnt done until 4:30. The tech was completely careless and did not check clearance, drove fast up on to the rack and damaged both rocker panels. I plan on pursuing legal action for the damage.

Went in for my appointment and was helped right away. Meanwhile 5 other customers came in and Guillermo was kind courteous and let everyone know that he would be with them. All the while answering the calls coming in. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I went in for 2 new tires for my car. Thanks!!!

Memo gave awesome service and really made the experience worth my time. Ended up getting a great deal on 4 new tires and was back on the road in 2 hours. Amazing stuff.

Good Service

Eric P helped me yesterday. I had to leave my car. My tire was tore up on the right passenger side. He was the nicest patient knowledgeable professional. He went above and beyond and because I live in Belmont down the street from the store he still offered to, give me a ride home very patiently. Of course I ll be back. I ve been a long-term customer on and off since probably 2005. The best is hard to settle for less. I ll be back.

24 hour turn around and no update call on status of vehicle. May just be a busy company, but then hire someone to take care of those tasks in a customer centric manner. Some team members are super nice and others are curt and rude and leave you waiting for 20 min in lobby to write this review.

I have been to three different wheel works locations. The Daly City guys rock. They are polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. But when my tire began leaking I took my car closer to work, at the Belmont location. There was an issue with the tire pressure sensors reading the wrong tire, which I told them over the phone and in person, and that it was a specific tire. They ignored me, did nothing but replace a valve stem on the wrong tire, and sent me on my way with a bent rim uneven air pressure in my tires as well as the problem I brought it in for. I even questioned it when I saw my tire pressure reading on my dashboard was unchanged. They told me I just needed to drive it and sent me on my way. This was unprofessional, and very unsafe for me as well as my car. Thank heavens for the Daly City location they treat customers with the respect they deserve, pay attention to the car problems, and are upfront.

Store Manager Michael, was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and provided very quick service. I highly recommend this place at S B St. In San Mateo.

Today was my first time at this location & will be my last. Front person is dry, barely greets you & continue s working on his paperwork. Makes you wait till he finishes his tasks & then checks you in. I went in for a tire patch. They did not bother to check my tire pressure in my other tires, threw my spare in the trunk. Did not reset the system light, but want to recommend other services you should return to get done. No Thanks!!!! Lack of customer service & attention to detail is unacceptable when spending money. I should of read the reviews before coming here.

I went for a tire rotation and asked for inflating my tires. After I picked up my car, no reset on tire rotation and still low tire pressure. What did really happen? (continue after my original post) : as the owner suggested in his reply to send receipt number to his email. I did. After 4 days, no reply.

Bad customer service. You buy the tire from them as if you go back to put some air, they hand you the hose to do it yourself. Just go find a better tire shop that takes care of the customer when is not purchasing something.

Took an appointment for 8am on 12/29 for Wheels Alignment for my 2018 Tesla Model 3, the online pricing was $129. At check-in, the employee said that online pricing is incorrect, Tesla is more complicated, and it will be $410 for wheel alignment. He tried to convince me its a big job, I almost fell for it, but decided to walk away. Got my work done at down the road at Big-O-Tires for $149. I can share the employee name, such rogue employees make customers go away to never return.

After visiting the Redwood City Shop at Wheel Works, they told me I needed a new tire, due to a gash and a nail. They didnt have the right tire in stock, so they called up Joe Joe at Belmont and were able to fit me in immediately. They estimated an hour to get me on the road and they got me out there within 40 minutes! I still missed my meeting, but they did their best. I cant ask for more than that. They also got me an economical tire. I am grateful to Joe Joe for helping me out in such a bind. Thank you!

I always get friendly service here. Eric and his staff help get me moving again after lots of nails from the highway construction (I think). Early morning start helps me get to work on time. Lucky to have a friendly auto repair stop nearby.

I bought my first set of tires at this shop in 1978. They have treated me fairly ever since. On my last visit I was a little disappointed in that the tire pressures were not properly set and one of the newly installed valve stems was leaking. They fixed the problem immediately when I went back. I still recommend this shop.

Impressed with friendliness and professional work. First went to PepBoys to get flat tire fixed. But lack of technicians there guided me to go wheel works by some cool lady, I met at the parking lot. Very happy with her suggestion. The tech at WW fixed the flat tire and removed and replaced dummy tire for 30$ with a smile. I had to wait for 2 hrs. It was worth it. Will highly recommend this place!!

One of the very few places that opens on new years day. Had to come in for an emergency repair because my splash guard came off after driving a piece of flooded road. Mechanics are nice & witty! Great & fast work.

Made an appointment at 10am and was told I had to wait 3hrs to get 2 tires installed. They could not find my appointment when I got there. A place of last resort.

Great service every time was my review before, but no longer: I came in with a new tire that had a nail in the tread and the rep tried to scare me into getting a replacement. Even brought a mechanic over to validate his judgement as a second opinion. I ended up going elsewhere and for the $75 repair and 2000 miles later... Such a shame I cant trust this place anymore. Recommendation retracted...

A prime example of why people hate auto mechanics. I set an appointment for and dropped it off at 8:00. I didn t get a call until 1:30, not telling me it was ready, but telling me the price. It was outrageously high compared to other places (even Toyota 101) that I quickly called but my day was already wasted so I couldn t take it elsewhere. I didn t it back until 4:30. I googled the price of the just brake drum with the part number they listed and it was TWICE the average price!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

Called in at 930am and told them what kind of utility work truck I have and the lady said no problem bring it in at 4pm. Then I bring it in at 4pm and the guy says he cant work on the truck. What a waste of my day and time is money....

Jason provided excellent customer service. They fit me in the same day, brakes and tires done in just a few hours. Alignment was free because I bought the lifetime warranty. I thought they were all great.

Went to get my brakes done. they telling me I needed calipers and was going to charge me over $500 to replace them ........ Went and did my breaks myself Calipers were in perfect condition!!!!! These people are charging for services that don t you need just to get extra money.

Quick and effective service. I got 2 tires changed and I was in and out in a matter of 5 hours.

I was told that I had a faulty rack and pinion after the alignment was done unsatisfactory. I had my mechanic replace the rack and pinion. Then I returned to Wheel Works to claim the year warranty on the alignment. It was still unsatisfactory and this time there was no suggested resolve. I was told to find an old mechanic who knew how to do it and I was not given a refund.

Went for alignment, was charged and car still pulled outrageously to the left. Called and asked why, was told I needed to replace CV for alignment to work. Spent about 200 bucks for nothing. Go somewhere else. Also recommended about 3k worth of service I didnt need, on top guys was lazy and rude. Go somewhere else.

Kelvin, provided excellent service from answering my questions, acknowledgement when I arrived, even handling a yelling customer in parking lot, when I first arrived. He compared prices over the phone for new tires before I arrived as well. Waited a while for some tires for my car, but that was only because alot of cars ahead of me. I would recommend this Wheel Works if your in the area, like I was.

The customer service was extremely helpful. There was a screw in my tire and i was able to come in at opening and my car was ready in time for school. The service advisor Toni was very accommodating.

Slow service

Very helpful, and friendly staff. Huge plus that theyre open 7 days a week. And easy to find right on El Camino Real in Belmont. I had a flat tire on Sunday and was able to get it fixed.

I bought my tires here, and recently before leaving for a road trip I noticed they were put of balance. I stopped by the morning I was going to leave, and they had everything fixed before lunch!

These guys were very impatient and rude to me, refusing to answer simple questions. Regardless of the quality of service or product, people deserve to be treated like people.

The service team is very rude and apparently unqualified to inspect vehicles and explain the invoice of charges. I took my car in mainly for loudly squeaking brakes and a check engine light indication. When I got the call I was told my car was all set to pick up at which time I asked what service was done and the guy refused to answer any questions over the phone and told me everything could be explained when I get there. Once at the shop, I was told nothing was wrong with my brakes, they had no idea what the check engine light indicated (although I could simply google the code later) and there was nothing wrong with my car, but I was still charged for the inspection. When I tried to ask a few follow up questions about both, the service guy was very rude and basically said he had no answers and they could not tell me anything. I can understand an inspection charge when nothing is wrong, however, immediately as I left the shop, I heard and felt the brakes loud and clear as before. Not only was this a waste of time and money, I will again need to waste additional time and money to take my car to another shop. These guys are either incompetent in automotive service, or lazy.

Wheel Works of Belmont is super duper. The sales rep Adey was extremely helpful. She got me in and out of there as quickly as possible. The tech was also awesome. And the cost was very reasonable compare to the Wheel Works in San Mateo. Wheel Works of Belmont is my go to store.

Fast, reliable

Good job on tire change. Tire shine is a bonus just wish they clean off the brake dust too. Steering wheel was dirty when I got my car back.

I went in for an oil change. I was told I needed tires. Everybody seemed nice. The service was longer then expected. When I got home I noticed something scratched one side of my car by the tire and a hit on the other side. One technician tried to cover it up with what seemed to be white out or something. I called to figure it out and everyone just played dumb. I will never do back to this place and will be sure to check my car next time I get work done.

Just awful. They quoted a price over the phone and then, once we came in for tires, said that the quoted price was incorrect - and that the tires werent even in stock. Further, they tried to upsell a second tire which was not yet in need of replacement. Basically a bait and switch. Terrible.

So I went in on a Saturday to get a tire patched and as expected they were pretty busy. Unfortunately it was an emergency so I went along with it. They told me it would be finished later that day since its only one tire. They never called to tell me they finished. So I decide to go in the next morning and what do you know, no one is there even though its suppose to be open. They ended up being closed all of Sunday because of a family emergency but for some reason couldnt inform me. I ended up having to rush there early Monday morning and ended up being late for work. And to top it off they charged me full prize and tried to up-sell me on a different tire.

Really.... this bad...!! I had a spare tire on my car needed to purchase a new tire and I went here because I always do when I need new tires but, the lady who assisted me wasnt that friendly and helpful. She asked me what did I needed I told her my problem she said sorry I cant help you go somewhere else maybe the guy down the street can help you I cant. The way she looked at me I felt discriminated Im going to report this incident it cant happen again.Btw I went to another wheel works at San Mateo by el camino real by o railly stated the same issue they were very friendly streamly busy but, let me know that but were willing to help me. They told me they had lots of orders before me but they were going to help me.

Wheel Works in Belmont continues to be the go to tire specialist (and more) on the Peninsula. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient, and does super work. Today I had a continuation of a pesky tire pressure auto warning light problem that took me to three different locations to solve. They did a thorough investigation that took more than an hour, found the problem and fixed it with NO charge! Truly awesome. I highly recommend Wheel Works in Belmont for their high quality service and their honesty.

For more complicated work that requires diagnosis, my experience indicates they are not the best place to take your vehicle (I saved myself $1300 in unnecessary work by getting a second opinion of a noise that was classic CV failure; WheelWorks thought it was the front struts which turned out to be in fine shape).

Horrendous service. They claimed my car would be done in 30-45 mins. Its been 2 hours and my car is still sitting in the lot, untouched. I dont mind that theyre busy. But honesty would have been good- because of Wheel Works, Ive had to flake on a meet-up that was much more important than mounting tires. Come here if you can drop off your car. Avoid if you have a life outside of sitting at mechanics shops.

These guys are awesome. I realized I had a flat around 6:30pm on a Friday night and wouldnt make it back up to SF without getting it fixed. I tried the first Wheel Works I came across in San Mateo and unfortunately they were closing up. They recommended I go see the Belmont store, but not before fully inflating the tire to make sure I got there. Juan over in the Belmont store was extremely helpful, even though they fully booked and it was approaching closing time. Unfortunately for me they didnt have my tire in stock, but they were able to order it for delivery the next day. They let me stay beyond closing while my ride arrived and I couldnt be happier with the service. Highly recommend.

I came to fix a flat tier. I left the tier and came back two hours. After i paid the guy came and wanted to put the tier i trunk. I asked them why they dont install the tier back and they told me if i want it installed i have wait for 30-40 minutes. The flat tier service is removing the defective tier, fix it and install it back. Its not like i am asking for a favor. My complaint is why have to wait 30-40min for a service which really takes 2-3 minutes. There are four guys in the shop. Not happy! Edit: i talked to

I really appreciate the free diagnostics. They found complex battery issues with my Prius at no charge because a dealer was needed to fix it. Great break jobs on Lexus and Porsche SUV. I have also used them Uber inspections.

This store stayed open to help one of my clients that was in a bind. I really appreciated it, as well as the member, who was able to get safely back on the road. Thanks for the assistance, Wheel Works went the extra mile!

Service: I had an 8am appointment to get 4 new tires and didnt leave until 10:15am. If I was a walk-in that would be perfectly acceptable, but not when I had an appointment that I arrived on-time for. Main reason for my low marks on service. Appeal: The waiting room chairs are positioned to face out the window. This sounds like a good idea until the rising sun is blinding you the whole time.
