I asked how much it will be for a small rubber I need for my car but by the time I m going to pay I paid higher than the price they told me. So upset!!!

I was charged $54 for 15 minutes of labor because my skid plate was falling down and it needed to be tightened. It didn t even take 15 minutes to be done.

Im very disappointed with this place. For one diagnostic it costed me $152. AAA did a free diagnostic in seconds and claimed it was the Alternator. Their diagnosis was not accurate and would charge me $400+ to repair my battery alternator. Its extremely expensive here. I believe as a woman, they over charged me for this purpose. Im so glad I canceled on them. They already ripped me off with the diagnostic fee and processing fee. I didnt want to get ripped off another $400!!! Please do yourself a favor, please dont come here. I regret coming here the first place!

My hubby and I service both vehicles here. Going to miss them when we move out of state. They are honest and hard-working, and repairs are done in a timely manner. It can get crowded because they seem to be in high demand, but the turnover rate is great and the service is awesome. Weve had them for a little over a year now. The area is very secure, since the neighborhood is iffy when leaving cars overnight.

Last experience was horrible. I was told my car was ready but it wasn t. Mechanic lied and said she was going to get the car but in reality was still working on it. Had nerve to be rude on top of horrible service. Will never ever ever ever ever go back again. There are plenty other auto repair places. Do yourself a favor and find another one.

I took my car in for leak check in gas line. I was told there was no leak since the mechanic could not smell it. However, the smell has gotten stronger. They requested I bring my car back. I dont think so. I paid $171.00 and no resolution. They check my tires, and performed regular maintenance check, but thats not what I requested because I had received that type of service 2 weeks ago when I got my oil changed. Just disappointed to have been taken advantage of as a female.

I had a good experience with these guys had an alignment done and then I went for a road trip something g was off car was pulling left I brought it back and they happily check it out and alignment was good but tire pressure on right side was 6lbs lower than the left and now it s fine. Great guys and gave me good explanations for everything.

Said no so I put my struts on yesterday and my alignments off a little bit I called him just now and they said that they would charge me again when you should warranty it let me know what you can do cuz I dont got money like that

Be careful I completely disagree, I let myself go by the opinions on the internet and it is a rubbish place, they make you spend money on things that your car does not require, they steal your money, nothing more.

If you need work done Leo & Son is the place to go, bunch of bays, bunch of employees, prompt and meticulous work. They work with warranty companies which is great! Plenty of seating in the waiting room, and there are places of interest as far as food and drink in the walking distance if you are there for a while. Always a great experience

A little higher price than your pep boys and such but the generally remember your vehicle..they did have a guy, Serg, working there that was awesome enough that I kind of wanted to hang out but I guess he left for a different shop.

Ive been coming here for over a decade now. Even though the owners changed, I took my car in and it looks and feels like its brand new. My car (Kia) was having issues but no check engine light ever came up. I brought it too Leo and sons and unfortunately the issue did not repeat it self while there care. Left I there a few hours and still nothing. After they took all that time to check it thoroughly, did not charge me.. I will definitely be returning. Wonderful people

The service is poor and they way over charge for things. And some of the things we were charge for were not even done. We were charged for a fuel pump that was 180.00 they charged us 500 and charged us for spark plugs that were the wrong size for my Cadillac. Had my car idling too high and the day after I slow drove it home cause it was hard to drive. It wouldnt start again. We paid 2k for this tragedy fast talking Don said was going to be great. Dont take your car here.

Let me clearly express my gratitude to Max, Daniel and the whole team over at Leo & Son Garage. They completely remodeled my classic 1973 Datsun Z and took the time to make sure every part was installed correctly. The electrical work was extensive with every light, fuse, bulb etc taken care of. You name it, they did it. Daniel took the extra time to explain what was needed and provided 100% customer service to me as a client. They recognize struggles and they work with you directly. Daniel and Max of Leo & Son Garage is who you want to work on your car. No doubt, no second guesses. Thanks so much guys

On 1/05/2021 I took my vehicle to Leo & Sons Garage and paid $1,220.35 to have my water pump replaced along with the thermostat. On 1/11/2021 I again took my vehicle in and paid $260.39 to have my heater hose replaced. On 12/20/2021 I again took my vehicle in and paid $1,042.73 to have my radiator replaced and they again replaced the thermostat. When I picked up my vehicle later that evening, I drove about 3 blocks and the car started to overheat. I had to take it right back and leave it again for the proper repairs to be completed. On 2/17/2022 I again took my vehicle in and paid $558.14 to have another heater hose replaced, the thermostat housing and again the thermostat, and the water pump under warranty because it was leaking after being installed on 01/05/2021. They tried telling me that I needed a $3000 head job even though the oil was not mixing and there was no white smoke coming from the exhaust. I declined to have the work done and instructed them to just perform the original work scheduled. When I went to pick up my vehicle the car was running fine and has been since but the Service Manager Daniel Mabson put on the paperwork Found thermostat housing leaking, also work that we had never done at Leo & Son & We cannot warranty any work regarding the cooling system since I didnt get the $3000 head job done. Even though They removed the thermostat housing 3 times while changing the thermostat on 3 different occasions. I have only had work to my coolant system done at Leo & Sons. This is poor customer service in my opinion and them washing their hands with anything potentially negative that may arise regarding the parts and workmanship they have performed on my coolant system. The fact that the water pump had to be replaced again after only one year and my vehicle overheating after only driving 3 blocks from the shop shows the potential of there being future issues related to parts & workmanship. I was very happy with their service before but this last experience has really disappointed me and has me seeking to take my business elsewhere.

Went here yesterday to have my brakes checked. They have me pay $44 just for them to tell me that there is something wrong with the brakes. I knew that already! that there is something wrong with the brakes. That s why I brought my truck here. On top of that they want me to pay another $600 just to take the wheels apart to see what the problem is. Fixing it would be another fee. They even gave me an attitude when I left.

This is my second time here for smog checks, a car and a truck, both times the people were friendly and honest. I normally fix my own vehicles but when I need an expert I want an honest one.

I needed a Brake and Light certification For DMV . Leo and Son Garage , did a great job on fixing a problem that was on my left head light . The inspector approved it and now my car is on the road again. I strongly recommended Leo and Son Garage The are the best . Youll be treat like family here.

I found a good price on a used car at a nearby dealership. The car was priced right, but had been sitting on the lot a long time. The dealership didnt have the best Google reviews, but Leo & Son did. I used them for a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle, and they did such a thorough and excellent job. Their report back to me included detailed explanations and photos, as well as a phone call of course. You can tell they are a company that is forward thinking and knows how to use the latest technology to improve service. They also were able to fit me in same day I called (I got lucky I suppose). $150 well spent, and I was able to confidently purchase the car based on their inspection report.

Good service but waaay over priced. I was being charged $900.almost $1,000.00 to have my radiator changed. Really? I paid $400.00,and yes it was an original GM Radiator.

I loved my experience there and I would recommend it to everyone needing auto assistance. We walked in and everyone was so welcoming! A guy named Mike helped me out so if you go there I would ask for him. I am young so I had never dealt with fixing a car and I was worried they would take advantage of that and hike up the prices but they gave me an amazing price for four new tires and were so kind in helping me figure out the process. They didn t have the tries on site but they were super speedy in getting them which I really appreciated. They also had a wonderful lounge to wait in while they got the work done. It had snacks, coffee, and a place for kids to draw or do puzzles. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I am very satisfied with the service I received.

Great service

Service is good. they have a waiting room with free snacks and drinks. a play area for the kids and free WiFi along with USB plug in to charge your phone. Also pay for your uber to take you where you need to go meanwhile your vehicle is getting repaired.

Leos Garage personnel were professional, honest and expeditious. I was happy with the service and the cost. My only discontent was that they dont except personal checks which causes me to pay an additional interest charge on my credit card. Other than that my vehicle appears to be back to normal.

Took my Land Rover LR4 2012 for a a brakes and lamp inspection for dmv, passed brakes without a problem, Master Mechanic failed the truck on light inspection due to him not seeing headlights turning on, basically master mechanic assumed that their defective without seeing them staying on, my truck was involved in a rear end collision pushed the truck forward rear ending the car infront, repairs were done and at the same time upgraded the front end specifically headlights with the newer year models from 2012 to 2016. Adaptive headlights haven t been programmed on my truck but regardless the headlights would turn on if switched manually. And a small trace of moisture was seen on right fog lamp due to taking the truck to a carwash prior i had the inspection. I don t know what the mechanic thought of how to turn them on. What was disappointing was i tried to explain it to the desk agent who accommodated me with the service but he was insisting that it failed due to the master mechanic said so and we re charging me additional $50 for the retest right away. SCAM! Vehicles/cars are personal properties with that being said I can do modifications to my cars that of not factory setting but would still be working and would meet or abide DMV restrictions and regulations and not simply meeting the expectations of a master mechanic.

This is my second time there I wish they can go back to open on weekends I d been trying to get some work done, I don t know if they have new crew members but the girl was really nice she went I don t know where to warm up my oatmeal, thank you I forgot to ask for her name, the guy that helped me was not too friendly I asked if he could give me a print out of the things I need to take care of my car and he just gave me my receipt with a few details not like the first time the guy gave me a print out of everything part of my car including tires, not this guy but a well we are not perfect, we re just humans

I called to see if they worked on my car model and would be able to fix my broken power window. The receptionist was very courteous and friendly and I was able to take my car in the next day and have it ready in a few hours. Im going to take my car again when it needs to be serviced.

The service advisors Mike and Jasper work work well together and provide excellent explanations! The documentation is more thorough than the dealerships service staff. For instance, the Leo & Son service staff take pictures of all problems when doing a complete evaluation of your vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

My diesel Sprinter RV had a broken glow plug that was in the worst place (pass side in the back). Don the mechanic managed to extract it w/o screwing up the head. At the same time they replaced the rest of the glow plugs and a taillight. Thanks for the extra effort. You made a customer for life.

From a phone call inquiring about smog certificate inspections to returning home a couple hours later with certificate in hand couldnt have been a more gratifying experience. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and attentive to their customers needs. Their waiting area was beyond anything Ive ever seen at an auto repair facility with complimentary drinks and snacks and several TV monitors. I do believe I have found my forever mechanics. I cannot tell you how helpful the staff at Leo and Son Garage was. After trying to have my brake/light inspection and smog done on my RV at 4 other places, they came through! It was very fairly priced and the service was fantastic. During my service I was offered snacks, drinks and a comfortable, cool and quiet lounge room. The staff told me of local places to grab a bite to eat while I waited. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would! I will be coming back even though it is a far drive for me.

This was my first time going to Leo and son found them on Yelp. I was at a point that I needed to find someone closer to home that I could trust because my regular mechanic is to far. It worked out great AAA recommended them so that helped me with my decision. I was helped by Mark and he is awesome. Everyone I spoke to was always happy and nice. What I like us they are up to date with technology meaning I work in environment where I cant always be by my phone so whenever there was an update they would text me and give me a status. They also had a checkin discount on Yelp which was great. I happy with my service and I now have a new mechanic that I will be going to for now on.

I previously came here for a smog check and had a good experience, so I figured Id return once I had a more serious issue. I made an appointment for 1 PM on Tuesday to have them look at why my airbag light was on, they told me it would be $150 in labor just to check the issue. At around 4 PM, I got a call saying that they needed more time on the car and needed to access the stirring column to figure out the problem. They said that theyd have an answer by tomorrow late afternoon. I wake up on Wednesday to a text and missed call around 9 AM. The text links to a report that explains the problem. I call them back and they tell me that the problem is with the clock spring, and that they need to order the part for the repair and that the part costs around $800 and that my total cost for the repair would be $1167.22. I ask if I can provide my own parts and they said they cant and have to order them directly from the dealership to guarantee their warranty. I decline the repair as its just too much for me right now. I look up the part number on Toyotas website and see that the MSRP for the part is $397 from Toyota directly, and third-party dealers are selling the same part for around $298. So already I feel uneasy knowing the fact that they doubled the price for the part. When I get to the shop, I ask them if they can print me out the report that lists out what they did, Mark asks me why, and I explain that I didnt get the report from them until this morning. He asks what are you trying to get? and I explain that Im not trying to get anything and that Im just trying to be thorough because I dropped the car off at 1 PM and was charged for more labor, because they still didnt know what was wrong at 4 PM, so I wanted to know what exactly they did from 1 PM until 4 PM. He claims they sent it yesterday when he called me at 4 PM. I check my phone and confirm I didnt receive anything. He then says that my phone number on their system was listed as home and that he corrected it this morning which is why I didnt get it until then, but reassures me that the work was done yesterday. I ask him if the report has timestamps that show when the report was entered into the system and he says no and checks with someone to confirm. He comes back and explains how he did tell me on the phone at 4 PM yesterday that they had the code at that point. I disagree but didnt want to push it. I pay for the cost of labor and he prints me out a copy of my paid invoice. After leaving I check the copy and realize its not even my information. He printed out the paid invoice of a different car and customer. I bring it back in and he shreds the paper and prints me out my copy. Overall, this entire process felt sketchy from beginning to end.

Getting that Brake and lamp inspected for DMV and CHP.... This turned out to be a rip off and a nightmare. They failed my LED lights and lenses because they didn t have DOT the lenses. The ORIGINAL lights don t have tat on them yet I have to find some and have lights re-inspected (which is NOT FREE) I understand they are trying to make a buck but wow. NO DOT ANYWHERE The dealership lenses don t have DOT. If you buy the lenses from the dealer it only has it written on the package.

Expensive and they do not do the job they re supposed to. They just stand around for 30 minutes and charge you. Charged me 300 and said 200 next time since it didn t pass.

Both sales representatives in the office were very professional and engaging. Waiting area was clean and well stocked. Waiting time was minimal. Will definitely be back.

Our car was towed here as a AAA recommended shop. We didn t end up going with their service because our car is older and in our opinion, not worth the investment of top of the line parts. But, I had such a pleasant experience working with everyone here that I had to leave a review. I worked with Jasper, Monica and I believe Mark. Everyone was friendly, professional and patient. Even after deciding not to use their services, I didn t get any pressure or a hard sell. Definitely recommend for high quality service.

1st time there for smog check, no problem 2nd time front breaks, no problem. March 2019 I did pay a close to $600 dollars but that also included a synthetic oil change. I know that a little steep but all well. 3rd time went in to get an estimate for my rear breaks Mr. J Martini told me point blank. We are not the cheapest in town so if you want to save some money go somewhere else with an attitude. So I left I got the rear breaks done somewhere at a reasonable price. 4th time I came back to have them check my front breaks because the steering wheel shakes when you break and they gave me a three year warranty and I got them done in March 2019 . Dropped off the vehicle at 830 am. 4 pm same day havent heard a word. I called and Monica said I will have J martini call you in 5 to 10 min. 20 minutes later no call. So I called them again I told Monica I needed to speak to someone that knows whats going on so she puts Gabriel (is the mechanic) on the phone and explains to me that they will replace the rotors under the warranty, that is great but it doesnt take 8 hrs for someone to tell me that. Vehicle stayed over night picked it up the next morning Gabriel said that there were hot spots that it was an indication of riding the breaks or something of that nature and that they would not warranty them again. What is this guy, a breaks scientists? No need to worry I WILL NEVER return here even though AAA recommended. Gabriel the tech has better customer service skills than the Monica and J Martini. Very frustrating experience.

The DMV sent me to Leo and Sons for two tests in order to take my car out of unsalvaged. The first time was to have my brakes and lights checked which they passed. This second time they tested the airbag system. It too passed. Now all I have to do is get the DMV to resalvage my car.

My regular mechanic wasnt able to perform the service that my car needed. AAA suggested Leo & sons. Jasper was friendly & knowledgeable. The waiting area / lounge was amazing. The staff was professional and I left confident that my car was in good hands. My car was serviced in a timely manner & the quality and value was excellent. I can definitely recommend this garage . Very disappointed. Took my car in due to air bag light on and intermittent front wheel sensor fault. It was diagnosed with bad air bag module and bad front wheel sensor. $1,800 for the parts and labor. 2 weeks later they still could not get the air bag module programmed so picked car up the same way I brought it in.

My experience was excellent there I was amazed as to well they treat there customers . I was super surprised that they provide Uber service to there customers. They have a free commissary treats for customers. I definitely recommend them to all who is looking for excellent automotive experience.

We had our car smog tested and would reccomend Leo and Son for their professional services to anyone, they even brought to our attention that some gaskets were leaking and offered their services to fix as well. I have had poor service at other shops in the past and thankful there still is a reliable automotive shop in town..

Great service from Leo & Son Garage Inc. I had some car trouble with my VW mk4 R32 and this shop/team got my car back to normal within a couple of days. This shop was recommended by my AAA tow truck driver and glad I decided to trust him. Great communication from the point of initial diagnosis and my car being ready for pick up. I would definitely recommend Leo & Son Garage Inc. and will consider going back for any future repairs. Thank you guys!

Granddaughter was very happy they had a lounge with all kinds of candy and cookies and sweet she wanted to go back to day for she could play again and their prices are really reasonable and their customer service is excellent beyond excellent by everybodys friendly courteous and kind location is really easy to get to on the corner and I would recommend that if youre looking for and auto re pair place this would be the place to go

Automotive repair shop on corner of Virginia and Bellflower Blvd. Small area for parking but the folks are all super nice and very helpful. They have nice clean restrooms, air conditioned waiting room and a nice area for the kids to play. They can color, draw, play board games, watch cartoons, play with Lego or baby dolls. You are welcome to several free hot and cold refreshments. They also have instant cereal or cold cereal, toast and bagels. There are snack bars, chips, cookies and fruit available. There are also M&Ms and Jelly Belly jelly beans. They have very comfortable seating if you have to wait. They keep you informed on how the work is going on your car and make recommendations but will also tell you want is necessary and what can wait. Very pleased with the service and work done on my Jeep. My nephew has been here before and he recommended them. I would also recommend them to anyone looking to have work or repairs done also.
