Great they know their supplies and parts and got some great prices on new and used RVs
Kudos to Sundown Rv...Thurs the 4th of Apr when coming into rv park, someone told us our wheels were making awful noise. I called Sundown on the morning of the 5th, they said bring it in. The techs there removed all 6 wheels, checked bearings and brakes, did find a backing plate on one brake, broken and disintegrating. They greased all bearing, repaired broken parts and got us back on the road by 5pm....great job guys.!!!!
Big hats off to sundown RV center in Merced. We got hauled in there by noon on Thursday and by 4:00 p.m. they were ordering the necessary parts started installing them by Friday and we were able to pick it up and keep going on our trip on Saturday we're talking four new leaf springs and shackles at a very reasonable price and send us to a good place to get some tires with all those Replacements we were able to finish our trip successfully! Everybody was wonderful and friendly and so reassuring! Special hats off to Ron from sales he helped us out as soon as we got towed in there got us unloaded unhooked and settled to get our repairs done with many helpful hints! And then was there on standby on Saturday to help us get hitched up and give his directions to carry on with our trip! You can tell this whole business has been built on reliability and service! Thanks again everybody!

I took in my trailer to get serviced, and my experience was a positive one! The jack on my trailer wasn't functioning, and the service department at Sundown RV fixed it. "Thank you." They were able to get us back on the road again for our next trip!
They are professional and friendly. They quoted a time frame and met that time frame when every RV dealership is slammed with post covid work. They did an amazing awning repair for me along with other services for a very fair price. Great customer service and a nice store with great accessories. I will be back. 03/2022 I went back to Sundown for more work on my trailer. They added USB ports so I can charge my phone and accessories off of the house battery on the trailer. They gave me a great quote and even gave me a quote to do roof resealing and installing a new Fantastic Fan. Jesse and his team did a great job at a great price. The USB ports look like the factory did them. The roof and fan work was top notch. I will continue to do business with Sundown RV. Always a great experience with them.
Poor Customer service. For a small town, this store acts like an internet store. No return policy, store credit only. They will not help with identifying parts. The staff behind the counter tries and is nice, but you can tell they hire family and have no idea what they are talking about. If you want help on a part they will hand you a catalogue and tell you to pick it out and fill out a form so you can't come back and say the wrong part was ordered. If you ask for help from the service department they will tell you it will cost an hour of their time to diagnose a part number. I see no reason to use this store. You might as well order from the web and get some kind of return policy. Do not support this store. No flexibility or customer service.
I was miss quoted for the labor. They don t know what you re talking about And not very honest either I would avoid them at all cost. $400 down the tube because of their dishonesty now I have an item that I cannot use

Seemed nice to deal with but when I asked about the ladder to get on the roof, they asked me why I would ever want to get on the roof of an RV. Either they dont know the importance of sealing the roof penetrations or they were hiding something. Either way, I ran, not walked.
They was closed got there as the guy was walking out the door he said wait what do I need told him he said come on got the part I needed and had a great weekend thank you buddy

Went in to have my propane tanks filled. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff checked out their parts department looks like they may carry anything you may need. And right off the freeway and the lady that rang me up at the register was awfully cute
Great & Fast Service! My husband called this morning and we were able to take our 5th wheel in for a minor repair. In & out in no time! We actually were planning on leaving town when we discovered minor problem with slide out, their mechanic Shawn help us with the repair and did a fantastic job! We always take out 5th wheel to Sundown RV and u should too! They are the Best in town!!
Had some delamination issues with our fifth wheel with leak. They had to take the front cap off and replace some wood. Not only was the trailer return prior to the glue and sealant from setting, it still leak! When returning from our trip, they did not have much say except that there was a hole in the top roof and gave me a free tube of sealant and said that I need to learn how to keep up on maintenance. I will never go there again. Maybe they are good at minor repairs.

They take exceptional care of there customers, its a very clean dealership, the sales department just made us feel so comfortable from the day of our purchase, and there service department has professionally handled all of our needs ever since. They have an A+ in our book.

If you need to fill your propane tanks best place to go. They are about 15% to 20% cheaper than places in Merced and service is prompt.
The staff was quick to get me my propane but seemed to not be familiar with my rigs design. The cost was a bit high but propane can go up and down.

I have tried 3 seperate times to get rv service in the park i manage. They were more worried about me paying there show up fee than actually helping me. I would never return there for any reason!!!

The girls need more training
The girls behind the counter are nice but know little to nothing about trailers or rvs. They need training. Juan, the service manager and owner, is one of the most crooked people I have ever dealt with. He gave me a estimate for replacing some gas lines which said parts and labor included then later said only labor was included. He charged me for two extra hours of labor without telling me about it first. When they werent able to repair one of the parts in my stove they still charged me for it. When I confronted Juan about the charges he was unable to explain it to me and would just talk in circles and contradict himself. I will never return to Sundown RV.

Great RV Collections and selection
Worse return policy ever! Had my dad pick something up for me and it was not what I wanted and they wouldnt take it back 2 hours later. Would only give store credit and they dont have what I want. I will NEVER go there again!
